Hi I'll be joining Gl bajaj this year,I have a question for seniors-"College ke sath CAT Prep ka time milta hai kya?koi aur prep kar rha hai kya college ke sath?aur mein gem engineer hu toh iska matlb mujhe CAT mein bahut jyada hi score padega toh uske according CAT prep ka time milega kya?

Need advice: CAT prep alongside B.Tech or after work experience?

I’m a General Male Engineer (GEM) currently pursuing B.Tech from an AKTU-affiliated college. My college is very strict regarding attendance and academics, and the semester exams are quite demanding.

My profile is around 6/6 in 10th and 12th, so I feel I need to score significantly higher in graduation to compensate. Being a GEM, I’ll also need a very high CAT percentile for top B-schools.

Given these constraints, how should I approach CAT preparation alongside B.Tech? Should I start preparing seriously during college itself, or would it be better to focus on academics, secure a job first, gain some work experience, and then prepare for CAT?

I’d appreciate advice from people who managed CAT preparation with a demanding engineering curriculum, especially from AKTU or similar universities.

I was filling the Thapar counselling form and had to enter my Class 12 marks. My PCM percentage was not meeting the eligibility criteria, so I entered the maximum marks as 80 instead of 100, while keeping my obtained marks the same.(ie out of 100) Mtlb i got 57/100 in physics so I have submitted 57

Will this create any problem during document verification or admission? Should I contact Thapar and get it corrected?
