I have a song in my head but I can’t name it. I think it’s Led Zeppelin.

it starts out as a naked guitar riff, and then I guess its Robert Plant who comes in singing the exact same riff. his voice duplicates and doubles to guitar.

best I can do is try and type the riff correctly:

its “Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Nahhhhh (this last Na is a string bend that pitches the note up a whole tone I believe. then the second part is the same riff: Nah Na Na Na Na Na Na Nahhhh ( but this time the las Nah bends only a half step up in pitch.

It’s could be wrong about the whole and half steps. it might be like 3rds or something IDK.

the last part of the riff is longer. na na na na na na na, nah(up end) na na na na, na na na na na na na, nah (up end) na na na

Does aerial sens matter for directional air roll assigned to buttons like square and circle?

I haven't noticed anything different from 1-10 sens, so I assume it does nothing?

My thoughts on the value of replay analysis are very split.

On one hand of course it makes sense to get advice from people better than you. But my biggest gripe is this: It always turns into a 1+ hour lecture that gets paused every 3 seconds while the reviewer gets WAY DEEP INTO THE WEEDS into every miniscule micro adjustment that you make with your joystick to turn your nose like 15 degrees the wrong way and how if you just didn't do that, you'd suddenly have 12 different flip reset options about to be available to you. Then they switch to everyone else's view in the lobby and tell you the 25 other options THEY each have as well. I'm hyperbolic here of course but a lot of you know what I'm talking about.

What I never hear from these reviewers is: Here are the top 3 habits you're not aware of that you're doing".

If I've ever had that, I don't remember it. It's always these long flakes style stream of consciousness type rants. Its like, yeah of course I want to play like that, but I don't think I'm doing the basics correct so I cant even think like that.

I also follow golf as a hobby and its like going to an instructor who films your swing and then puts up a Dechambeau video side by side and tells you to "just do that" and you'll hit it better. Completely unhelpful IMO. Draw the rest of the owl scenario. How to get replay analysis down to 15 minutes and have the basic highlights hit?

Leprous-Running Low. My wife's take on this song...

My wife says this leprous song sounds like Glen Danzig doing Alanis Morrissette. And then she said the chorus is very Imagine Dragons Sail sounding. I’m not a he biggest leprous fan, but I like the Coal album pretty good. This song came on random today and I knew it would get a big eye roll from her. She hates my music. TBF I hate hers.

I’m on week 12 of TRT and fairly well unimpressed and not feeling optimistic. 49 YO and 188 lbs. Starting weight was 174. Dose is 100mg/week split into 2 shots Sub Q.

Firstly let me say I think in a high aromatizer but that’s pure theory right now. I’ve never cycled any substances. I used to work out he’s only in my early-mid 30’s but fell off around 38. I’ve never been obese. Pre TRT levels was 350 TT and low flagged low free T SHBG and E2 levels were in green range but DHT was flagged low as well. Thyroid was in range on several markers D3 was low-ish and B12 was middle of the road blood pressure has always been spot on and it still pretty much in the same spot.

The weight gain has me super pissed and doesn’t want to come off. I’m eating clean for a month now and nothing has budged. Waist has gone down 3 CM though. Still look shitty in the mirror though. I’ve been back to lifting for 5 weeks however.

The first month was meh and I posted here and everyone said give it more time. I maybe noticed a little lifted mood on injection day and the day after but then….Blech. Also almost zero morning wood. The first couple weeks maybe a few times. also maybe some more random daytime twinges and half chubs, but this last 6 weeks ZERO morning erections whatsoever.

Libido is meh. Occasional twinge here and there. Wife is still thinking I’m just not interested in her. And truth be told I’m kind of not. Erections are SUPER meh. I can perform ok but the wood feels too squishy and maybe 6/10 hard. Even with 2.5mg daily cialis and a 50mg Viagra stacked on top.

I’m sleeping 6-7 hours per night and have used a CPAP for years before even thinking about TRT. I have a large tongue and jaw opens whenever I sleep and tongue slides back no matter what. I do not have a thick neck.

I’m extra emotional sometimes and irritable sometimes. music lately has made me emotional more than it used to. But sometimes im not. And sometimes my mood is actually better than pre TRT. I was holding water in my legs that first 2 months but it’s not so bad right now. I don’t have any acne. I do maybe have a tad more skin oil but that’s it.

This is a dumb ass rollercoaster that I’m not really impressed with. My next follow up blood draw is in 3 weeks and my face to face is the week after that.

I know we don’t have numbers to use right now, but I just want to know what to say to this guy when I see him and what to ask for. my monthly fee plus meds cost right now isn’t an issue but I’m going to be annoyed to keep paying and keep feeling like this.

I can pay to have some private labs drawn but I don’t want to mess up my blood ratios right now so close to the next official lab draw in a couple weeks.

How can I train game sense and positioning optimally?

I've had some very generous people do replay analysis for me over the years, and especially recently the last couple of months. While I appreciate everything they've said, and some of it HAS stuck into my gameplay because yes I've made progress over the years....

The one thing I keep hearing is that my decision making and positioning are holding me back. I've worked hard to go from low diamond to C2 the last 2 years but it's SUUUUUUUUUUCH a grind because I know things aren't getting through to me. Stuff isn't sinking in. Athletes study film, I SOMETIMES watch my replays but not a lot. I find that during my own replays I get really annoyed and basically just get frustrated because I CAN'T see. What else can I do besides that? Something to help me get PAST still not seeing options during replays? I literally don't see other choices when I watch. I just freeze up and brain seems to shut down.

I remember being in low diamond years ago and being told "back post" over and over. I was told "don't challenge in corners" or "your own corner is the safest place on the field for the ball to be so don't dive in there" etc.

Now it seems I'm STILL being told back post (even though a lot of people talk about cutting as the new meta etc.) and now I'm being told to be a little more aggressive in corners or even more aggressive challenges. I have worked so much this last 9 months to look more at other cars instead of the ball. That seems to have helped a little for sure.

I am by nature an extremely overthinking type person. Lots of ruminating and a lot of internal dialogue in my brain about all my daily events and life choices etc. This translates to all kinds of noise during gameplay with all my decisions etc. I'm seeking for DEEP ways to cut through that noise during the game and just play.

One thing I really struggle with is I find myself thinking of ALL POSSIBLE SCENARIOS of any given play that I'm in, instead of the MOST LIKELY ONE. And so I freeze or simply stay inactive on the play and default to sort of floating around in no mans land.

I remember Leth in his old RTSSL series' saying "I have an internal red light/green light that tells me when to go". Well my light is perpetually yellow then lmao.

I get told I have enough basic mechanics when I get the chance to use them, but I end up just sort of "meh" driving around most of the time. I can half flip, speed flip, basic flicks, basic air dribbles without a lot of air roll, powerslide cuts are sometimes on fire, other times not so much, and I've spent a lot of extra time training mawkzy flicks since I found them to fit my style well and I was able to train them to get really good power over 100-115kph a lot of time. But I barely get time in game to really even attempt them.

Anyway, HTF can I really train decisions?

Trying to diagnose my sons AC in his 2005 Nissan Altima after alternator replacement

TLDR: replaced alternator and AC began working only intermittently for a week or so but then quit altogether. I've tried many things. See the below list. Why would a new alternator cause AC problems? Fuses are in tact.

  1. Bought a can of refrigerant with the gauge on it. Gauge instantly reads in the red zone of "too high". Car wont accept refrigerant. It just spits out at the can joint.

  2. Bought AC gauges and hooked them up. Both low side and high side read the same pressure (happens to be around 90, and its about 90 degrees outside). Compressor doesn't seem to engage. We all know that could be fuses (checked them), AC pressure switch or compressor. The system has refrigerant though because I can press the valve on the low side and it will spit out.

  3. Can't jumper my pressure switch to bypass it because its the 3 wire kind and google and YT say don't do it.

  4. Nissan car self test says I should hear 5 clicks of the AC compressor during the test. I do not hear those clicks like I think I should.

So my question is still revolving around that compressor or that pressure switch but I can't really narrow it down to either of those right? Or does that Nissan self test instantly rule out the pressure switch because that switch is possibly bypassed during that test and I would still hear the clicks even if the switch was bad. In which case this definitely tells me the compressor is bad.

Last question. "Are the symptoms of a failed compressor going to be intermittent AC for a week or two? Or would it just be instantly bad forever? Because the air would work some days, and then not other days, until finally nothing now.

Thanks for any help.

2015, 155k miles, never changed spark plugs….

I’m not in the habit of messing with things that aren’t broke. I missed the window for the transmission fluid swap and the car care nut says don’t do it at this point so I haven’t.

But I also know plugs don’t have this king of life normally so I thought about doing it but once again I’m thinking “I have never had a hint of misfiring and my fuel efficiency is close to my stock numbers from 11 years ago”.

So why bother them at this point?

AC working intermittently after alternator replacement. It was working fine before. I don't get it

2005 Nissan Altima 3.5l.

AC working fine for years. Alternator goes bad so I replace it. Next day the AC doesn't work. Meaning it juts blows ambient air. For several days it doesn't work. Then suddenly one day it works. Then it works for 3 days in a row. Then suddenly another day it doesn't work again. On and on it goes.

So I buy one of those refrigerant cans with a gauge on it, it tells me the system is way overcharged. how could that be? It was technically "fine and not overcharged" for years before the alternator replacement, and I didn't fill it with anything so where is it overcharged from?

Its not a fuse otherwise the thing wouldn't work at all right? The belt is properly tight (I've replaced plenty of water pumps and alternators to know how to tighten belts) and there's no squealing or anything. What gives here?

Can a well maintained and sharpened Mclane REALLY keep my yard looking extremely good or am I kidding myself?

I’m limited to used units at this time. There are serval around me but I’m not it a rush per se. I already have someone cutting my grass and I’m just looking to fire them soon and do it myself.

Only a few around me are Tru Cuts and they are in pretty bad looking shape. But there’s a mclane for around $600 that the guy says is is freshly sharpened, fresh oil, fresh belt and bed one with 50% life left. he won’t come down on the price because he says he out all that new stuff on there etc but that’s how own fallacious hang up because it’s been sitting on the market for 2+ weeks already lol

Can I really keep a nice carpet looking front yard with that mower? Or is it just a MUST that I get a cal trimmer or one of the higher tier options?

Analyze please? I thought I played decent but it was such a struggle with this team mate. C2 promo game and lost it.

This guy admitted he gave up the first goal by pushing into the corner with me. But then the rest of the match he just seemed lost and almost useless. I spot some of my own mistakes. But I finish the game with both our goals and I think 5-6 saves and 700+ points. He had nothing and like 250 points.

I know points aren't a reliable thing for gauging a single game, but it sure doesn't make you feel good to see a mate put up nada for stats plus make you always feel alone out there. Tell me how I should "read" this M8 in the first minute like people always say I should. Because I don't know if I should label him "chasey", "whiffy", "slow", "mechy", "defensive" or "drunk".

  1. I mess up the corner touch that leads to their first goal, but he was pushing up to far and not able to save it.
  2. 3:21 IDK what I think I'm reading with his pass/shot, I go to corner, screw up yet another touch, and concede.
  3. Halfway through the game I start going insanely slow because I feel like M8 wont be backing me up and I'm just trying to read as defensively as possible I guess.
  4. 2:02 I see he has no boost and is on the wall, I'm not very close I guess because I don't trust him so now I have to 2v1. Fine, I see him rotate out and go to corner boost behind me offscreen. I make a dead ball and I think he's gonna come flying in and back me up, but they get their second man follow up and my guy shoots back into view with, you guessed it, no boost. So I guess I just misread the timing of him getting the actual boost and being there for me?
  5. 1:31 misread off wall in their corner and missed chance to center it for him.
  6. 1:07 I'm making push out of their corner again, they make a stop on my shot, I look over and he's like already pushed up way too far and to the right and now he begins a retreat back with very low boost and then disappears, so again I feel like I'm just soloing defense the whole time.
  7. :39 after he dies again, I have very little boost and the ball is not reachable. I see orange player pushing at ball and so I guard a possible shot, but he really fakes, so then I push a little again and get one pad and I'm able to stop his attack. I see these scenarios quite often and sometimes they go my way and sometimes they don't. I'm too far and too low of boost to do anything, so I have find little ways to close down space but sometimes they can get a laser shot over me.

8 :14 seconds mistouch and we cannot afford that now, its do or die.

  1. :05 one last chance at a shot and I just hit it lame and don't get the power I want.

2005 Altima random limp mode off and on for weeks, replaced crank sensor and no dice. 140k miles 3.5l 5 speed automatic.

Google says its not the cam sensors either because the car starts and revs just fine in park and neutral. It just doesn't rev in drive or reverse.

It told me to check the trans fluid, and it does indeed look a little brown-ish/black instead of that typical red color. No codes at all.

Thoughts?

What's the real data on K2 with D3 and at what ratio does it matter etc?

Last year (and off an on a couple years before that) I went through several phases of weeks or months at a time where I would get these crazy heart palpitations. VERY POWERFUL ONES. Like someone with a pacemaker just waiting to get shocked at any moment, for many times a day. It badly affected my sleep and I was a walking depression ad. My wife was quite concerned.

I got a cardiac echo scan, a treadmill stress test, I wore a monitor for 48 hours etc. I had quit caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, I tried all kinds of dietary changes etc. Everything came back clean and the doctor said "some people just get palpitations and we don't always know why" etc.

Fast forward and I had ran out of my K2/D3 supplement for a while and simply forgot to replenish it and fell out of the habit of taking it. My heart palpitations gradually went away. I never associated it.

I repeated this same cycle again TWICE ( I skipped the trips to the doctor though) and just thought I'm doomed to this off and on forever like a ticking time bomb. But I stopped the supplements again and it went away. I finally connected it.

I became deathly afraid of D3 then. I Recently had it blood tested and I was very low. Fatigue all the time, joint pain etc. So I started supplementing D3 ONLY without the K2.

So far things seem fine. 1k IU's daily D3, no K2.

Am I really at some kind of "risk" for not taking K2 with this? I kind of feel like nah.

I have a friend who will sell me a 2006 Tundra, are they good trucks?

2006 Toyota Tundra full cab, 240k miles, broken front seat (not sure what broken is) and faded and worn out paint all over, single owner. I can get it for $4500. Worth it? Or is there something wrong with these trucks from that era that I'm not aware of? Friend says this is the friend price and someone else would pay more like maybe $5500-6000.

Is it normal to want to nap every single day now?

I don’t drink caffeine, I only drink alcohol 1 day a week, I sleep 7-8 hours every night, I do fairly regular exercise, my blood tests always come back fine. So why do I just want to sleep every afternoon?

It never used to be like this. It’s pretty annoying. I thought it was my hormones so I began treatment for that about 7-8 weeks ago and yet nothing has changed from that at all.

I badly need to level my back Bermuda with very large ruts. Is this a safe mix to use? Pretty good deal price wise. $280 for nearly 6 yards delivered. Socal

I have a different yard near me that will sell me 2 yards for $300, so this guy comes in a lot cheaper. but I’m not sure if this mix he’s offering is even correct for what I need. Some of the ruts are 1-2 inches deep, with even a couple deeper areas going like 10 inches from my dog.

I previously tried a yard of masonry sand but it barely helped. I’m learning as I go here.

My dose is 100mg a week and I'm just barely feeling positive effects...

I finally started TRT 4 weeks ago. Today begins the 4th week I should say. My brother started on the same day but his dose is HALF mine and he's getting sour on the whole process. I went to a clinic for mine, but he went through his doctor for his. My clinic guy put me on 100mg and told me "give it a couple weeks, you're gonna feel it". TBH all I really notice now is worse sleep (I assume estrogen), and some new pimples and some weight gain. Not feeling exceptionally horny or anything like that. Maybe mood is a little elevated.

But in speaking with my brother I found out his dose is 50mg a week. Isn't that a little low and puny? Doesn't that begin his own shut down but not REALLY replace his normal levels? Doesn't the male body produce more on its own? 50mg a week is less than the 70-75 he'd ideally be producing on his own yeah?

I assume his doctor is just doing dumb doctor stuff by "easing him into it"? They will up the dose at some point? His initial numbers were like 400 total and like 1% free. My numbers were 380 total and still less than 2% free.

My fear is my brother will simply see this as a failed experience and not get the help he needs. We are only 3 years apart, I'm older, and we both sought help at the same time due to the same symptoms we all know so well. My brother is a very "give up at the first sign of resistance" kind of guy. He always has been. I've tried to adjust his expectations for these first few months specifically because I think his dose is low.

Am I wrong?

Analyze my dumbass

I'm just barely back to C2 after a hard de-rank and climb back up. Been playing more 1's lately to try and get better at watching other cars instead of the ball. I made some bad blunders here but my main concern is I can't read all these damn flip resets now. Everyone always wants to be resetting. You can even see my m8 struggled with it here too. Plus he was off and on lagging and so at some point we were just cooked and outclassed. As soon as I see a guy go for a reset, I assume thats going to happen every single aerial from then on. Plus seeing these resets out of the corner like this, especially multiple times in one game is very new for me.

If you offer timestamps and detailed tips thats great, but can you also just boil it down to 1-2 main things you see that I need to drill, and then how to drill those things? Thanks everyone.
