Are posture and mobility exercises stacked on top of regular workouts?

TLDR: I need help structuring my home workout routine to fix like my entire body.

I'm so unhealthy right now, my pelvis is tight which messes up my legs and feet and stability. And my posture is bad too, which problems leads back down to my bad hips. Also my mobility/flexibility is also bad... so I'm pretty sure that messes me up too.

So right now, I'm doing strength training HIIT on youtube for about 30mins a day. But I'm confused, would I need to add posture, mobility, and hip exercises right after? And some the instructions are like do 2-3 times, and I'm adding it all up takes so long.

Or would working out fix most of my issues? But then I would see advice videos where they tell gym-goers that they need to work on their mobility and hip exercises to be even better, so I guess I would have to it into the routine.

What could possibly be breaking the hair at the nape of the neck?

Texture: straight
Density: medium
Treated: virgin

I stopped wearing necklaces so that my hair would not get ripped out and tangled. But for some reason, the hair at the nape of my neck always have split ends. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Recommendations for scooter/bike? Also how good is reduced parking anyway?

So I’m on my senior year, and ngl I really don’t want to pay $300 bucks for general when I’m only gonna be here for two semester.

I’m thinking of either getting the reduced parking and get like a $100 bike/scooter. But I have 3 worries:

  1. scooter dies on me and I have to do the walk of shame.

  2. are bike helmets enforced? tbh I really don’t like bike helmets on me.

  3. reduced parking is actually ass and I’ll forever be late.

What to do with super light but thick period?

My period‘s been funky for the past year. It just wouldn’t come without the help of pills (medroxyprogesterone). I’m trying my best to have it naturally come back, and I’ve been consistent with metformin last month.

Leading up to 5 days ago, my period was brown but it wasn’t much. Then it was super spotty, but when I wiped it was super thick red but still wasn’t much.

I personally feel like there’s still more period blood in me. Like I don’t feel complete. Should I take my hormone pills so it could flush out the rest of blood? I’m assuming the uterine lining has thicken up and it just stopped.

How to beat a taller person in a 1v1?

So loser pays for pizza…I’m 5’3 and he’s 6’3. Should I just start chucking it super high over his head?

I know when he’s defending I’ll be at such a disadvantage unless I’m like super fast or something (I’m not). Is there anyway to get over that?

I only think he’s gonna lose because he’s clumsy on his feet and has no depth perception. I know nothing about basketball but I remember making the ball in the net in middle school P.E.

How long should each of your response be? [new grad/early career] I’m confused and stutter a lot

I’m practicing answering common interview questions but i take way too much time. Just answering the base question already takes up 3 minutes and if I add any concrete examples it would take an extra 1-2 minutes.

Let’s say they ask about a feedback.

“The feedback from my internship manager was that I needed to speak up more in meetings (stutter here because I’m not sure if I should add his reasoning).

I immediately took action and asked more questions about the processes and impact, and reiterated what I understood from the discussion (stutter here because I’m not sure if I should verbatim give them the example like oh once they did this, I said this).

By asking more questions during the meetings, I gained a stronger understanding of the business processes and team projects and goals. As well as saving time, asking questions during the meetings instead of productivity time. Reiterating what I understood left room for me to learn and grow my understanding of technical knowledge. Accepting and executing the solution to my feedback, I was able to build strong rapport with my team as they are able to see my capabilities as a intern/upcoming role”

All of that is about 3-4 mins with natural cadence. 4-5 with stutter.

Does anyone have advice with fillers/stutters? I realized I do that because I’m unsure if I should move on or give an example. Cause I would see some advice that’s like, if the interviewer is confused or asking questions, you probably told a bad response

But my friends also say just naturally answer the question. You’re a new grad, they understand if you’re kinda bad.

How does eczema travel? Or does it?

When I was very little my eczema was wild. I remember big patches on my elbow creases and behind my knees. And on my fingertips. Then, those patches stopped.

Ages 10-21, I would have chronic-recurring hand eczema spots. Some months they would look like a bubbling cauldron but overall through those ages they were manageable.

Now 21-23, they’re on my lips and I have angular chellitis scars. Like how does eczema travel? And can I do something to get it back on my hands? (Unless you guys think it’s something else and my ezcema is cured)

Anyway, I’m like 1% grateful that it’s only my lips and not the spots on my hands anymore. (Ngl I have a suspicion it’s also on the high points of my cheeks now too, but it feels like dry spots so I’m assuming dry spots.)

But honestly, I’d rather have it anywhere else on my body than my lips. Cause at least people won’t say, “do you need chapstick” or “try this lip balm/moisturizer/peptide”

Interns: what prep did you guys do to help you get the job?

I know a lot of people scream STAR at the top of their lungs. But what else did you guys do to be able to answer any questions the recruiter/managers throw at you?

When you came up with your story examples, how do you know which ones to think about? What do you think made you a successful candidate?

Fasting with Vyvanse?

I’m trying to fast but the crash of the Vyvanse is so much worse when I’m fasting. I’m not sure why, does anyone with adhd/on stimulants have any advice? The first day I’m ok, but the second day omg…

The migraine and sore eyes won’t go away until I eat, which kinda defeats the purpose of being on an extended fast.

Edit: yes also I stayed very hydrated during the fast. I’m just confused why my crash was so bad and how to prevent it when fasting with ADHD meds

Do I apply for FT jobs or internships? - college senior

I'm just kinda confused on what I should be applying for. I know there are new grad programs and internships for those graduating in spring 2027. Those I apply as fast as I can.

But should I apply to full time roles as well? Or is that a waste of time?

(Caretakers and) Patients with COPD stage 4: what do you go to the lung doctor for?

My question is: when you go to the lung doctor: what are you asking to better your care? My dad says he wants to breathe better, but the nebulizer solutions increases his heart rate too much. Any recommendations to try out?

What do you do about the appetite and muscle loss??? Have anyone asked/done COPD-based physical therapy? I have brought it up multiple times but the doctor would never get back to us on his "referral."

Is it worth to do the medication? My dad says whenever he does the breathing treatment, it works, but makes it so much harder to breathe once it wears off. He'd rather have low stable breathing than the up and down.

I know these could be asked to the lung doctor, but I'm mainly ask for other people's personal experience. Because right now even I'm at a loss for how to move forward in bettering my dad's care. If we are at a loss, the doctor is loss at well.

Sorry for the unnecessary rant, but my city has zero pulmonologists. All the other cities are booked, and if I find one that has open availability, I'm scared it's just another bad experience.

Context: My dad's COPD has gotten worse and it has worsen his heart. His heart is beating super fast to compensate for his lungs and his lungs is mosaic(??). He's wheezing a lot and hard to talk. He's losing a lot of weight and muscle and his appetite is just not there anymore. It's been going on for months and I'm at a loss to see how we can stop how fast his deterioration is. Oh, he is on oxygen at night.

We've been to a couple of lung doctors and they are so apathetic with their care. They see us for 3 mins and toss medications at him.

Which is the better suited answer for “working with vague instructions?”

I’m prepping my interview story bank right now and I’m unsure how to go about answering this. I know there’s technically no right answer but I’d love for any opinions

How do you work with/tell me about a time… vague instructions (…in a time crunch)?

1: I almost failed to deliver a task because I left it toward the very end and didn’t realized I need permissions early on to work on it. I learned to be give all my tasks an over view to see which ones need permissions. Get requests done early so as I’m done with my beginning tasks, I can then immediately start working on the others. (Internship)

2: I was given vague instructions to revise and design my team’s presentation. I took ownership of this task and utilized all my resources. I implemented objectives taught in class, for example making the slides easy to read and add more visuals. For any unsure changes, I timely communicated what solutions to execute and requested feedback for it. I learned to be resourceful with vague instructions and ask questions early to avoid late delivery. (Classroom)

I actually really like the second answer but the first answers feels more corporate and in line with what they want me to talk about??

How to curb sleepiness after eating/waking up?

I’m glad someone did a supplement question 4h ago, it helped me put off buying inositol impulsively. Although I am on metformin right now, so I wasn’t even sure I was supposed to take both.

Anyway, not really the question lol, the problem is I’m so sleepy after I wake up. The moment I move around and do anything. I’m already tired. But the moment I eat, I’m sleepy. Even dinner, I would take another nap. Maybe inositol is the move? Does anyone know?

My Vyvanse doesn’t keep me awake. I know 100% I don’t have narcolepsy. It’s like I have to be fuel by more stress and anxiety to stay awake the entire day.

I would see social media make skits about falling asleep after doing something, and it’s almost on the line of mocking rather than being relatable. I’m so annoyed with this sleepiness. Will probably delete this paragraph when I’m less groggy lmao

Does wearing a wide brim hat hinder eyesight improvement?

I want to take nature walks but my skin is super sensitive to the sun, I’m wondering if the shade from a cap or a wide brim hat makes the eye exercise useless?

In my head, I’m assuming the overall sunlight and difference in vision helps a lot with improving eyesight. But if your eyes are shaded, wouldn’t that mess with the pupils and like how your eyes see things?

I hope my question makes sense lol

Will 20+ episode seasons make a comeback or is that long gone?

I'm watching Mayfair Witches right now on Netflix, and even with some other shows, I wish there were more episodes like the way it was 10yrs ago. I enjoy the filler content and even then, the condensed 8-episodes are poorly written. I want the extra episodes to fill out plot holes and add complexities to the characters too.

Even Korean shows went from 16 episodes to like 10, was that necessary? Is it the actors that are getting lazy and entitled for more money per episode? Is it the streaming services and networks that are reducing the episodes?

When can we see more filled out seasons again 😞

Why doesn’t corporate have “night shifts?”

Hello! I’m working on an essay for my debate class and I’m sure this is such an out of touch question. But I’m hoping some people in corporate could have some insight to add to this.

People in IB working late into the night. Some people take work home and send emails at 2am.

Why don’t we just employ night shifts. Maybe like one manager and one employee. Or two employees. Company is getting stuff done (kinda) and maybe we could do a 4-day work week situation.

How do I know which question should be answered in STAR?

like How well do you work in teams? What motivated you to pursue a career in technology and supply chain? What does collaboration and being part of a team look like for you in a technical environment?

I know not every question should be put into STARR but if it's not star, would a 1 sentence answer suffice? Does every question need an example? I'm worried about the line between rambling vs providing sufficient details.

Rate my Tell Me About Yourself answer

Previously, I interned at [company] as a [position]. During that experience, I was exposed to data analytics and data engineering work for a couple of sprints, and I realized I really enjoyed using data to solve business problems.

Since then, I’ve been building my technical and analytical skills through both coursework and personal projects, using tools like SQL, Python, and data visualization platforms to analyze real-world business scenarios. I’ve also been exploring how generative AI can support data analysis and business decision-making.

Now, I’m looking for an opportunity where I can continue growing my analytical skills while contributing to data-driven business goals in a collaborative environment.

I feel like I'm not selling myself correctly, but I'm not sure what to add or take away.
