Throughout the entire movie Ajay Sanyal kept calling Hamza as his “Babbar Sher”. Even when Hamza went to Bade sahab’s home the camera briefly focused on the portrait of a Lion fighting humans who are trying to control the lion.

In the trailer when I saw that Chakra on Jaskirat’s background i knew Aditya had put some element from one of the Vishnu’s avatar in the film. After watching the movie especially the final fighting sequence between Major iqbal and hamza, I realized Aditya dhar has tried to indicate Shri Narsimha’s shadow in Hamza. Lord Narsimha is what Aditya dhar meant when he wrote “Wrath of God” in that blood covered face of Hamza. The long hairs, the beard depicted like the Mane of a lion.

When i heard Zee5 took rights of FIFA broadcasting i thought which TV channel would broadcast it as there is no Zee sports channel, but today out of nowhere i saw this channel which is broadcasting FIFA wc.

It helps me to disconnect with mainstream and don’t know why i like to cope this way. It helps me.

Few days ago a video was viral about the underground lavish living setup of a local TMC leader. It included gold plated bed, modular kitchen, jacuzzi,etc. All these beneath a facade of un-plastered home in the Shibpur choura slums. He was arrested from Bombay and now he is being paraded bare foot on the very streets he used to rule once. Is the police/administration trying to send a message ?

Anyone watched the newly released Krishnaavtaram ? It was okayish. It felt like a Satyabhama-Krishna story. There were inconsistencies like people were shown doing Kathak in dwarka. Also I don’t like the fact that they kept calling it Shaadi and not Vivah.
