Not fully understanding how pylons work

What is the issue with this position? Why can't I place it in this spot?

Dune, Frank Herber

I just picked up Dune from my local library.

This has to be the worst Dune cover, right?

Edit: To clarify, the author's name is translated, so 'Frenk' is not a spelling error. It's just the way it's pronounced in Serbian. Not that it helps the cover much lol

Widgets are suddenly gone, how do I bring them back?

As the title suggests, my widgets are gone.
They were there yesterday evening when I filled up the list with my reminders for the week.

I'm using the latest update of Mozilla on Windows 11.

I tried both recommendations from the forum (switching language and 'allowing Firefox to improve features, performance, and stability between updates').
Other than that, I don't see any options regarding the widgets in the options.

Any ideas on how to bring the widget(s) back?
Thanks!

Extreme horror cover I designed for a client

Designed this cover for a client's indie extreme horror novel some time ago.

Figured this sub is the right place to share it!

Conservatorship?

Conspiracy theory (no flair for it, take what's coming with a grain of salt)

What are your thoughts on the idea that her team and family are allowing her to hit rock bottom to place her under conservatorship?

If enough people are commenting on how ill she is, wouldn't it be a perfect opportunity for someone to swoop in and take over her estate 'just until she gets better'?
A lot of people are placing blame on her family/team, so getting her Britneyd would start a wave of praise to whoever does it (at least at first).

Am I insane? Let me know!

First time using henna (Lush's henna rouge)

I followed their basic instructions (hot water, no additional ingredients). I kept it on for 6 long hours.

Thanks to everyone who left their tips and suggestions on my first post . I ended up lightening my virgin hair to a lighter ginger tone, waited 2-3 months for it to fade (that's my cover-up story for 'I was too lazy to buy it sooner') , and then applied henna over it.
