Next big thing for NFTs: NFT trading with DAOs

Welcome people, today (well last night) marks the official birthday of Obsurfer a NFT marketplace for trading NFTs as part of a DAO. To be a part of the beta comment your interest below!

\*\*But why a DAO?\*\*

Being part of a collective enables you to share the risk in purchasing new NFTs, splitting the cost with fellow members. Together, you make decisions that affect each trade. No one person is responsible for the success of a trade and it takes the majority to win a proposal.

\*\*How do trades happen?\*\*

A token holder may sell an nft on the platform by submitting the details in the app. DAOs then execute proposals that turn into bids. DAOs bid against each other to get you the highest price for the NFT. Buying an NFT is simple. Select a DAO from the list and browse their wares, select on an NFT to buy.

\*\*Minimized Risk, minimized gain?\*\*

Shared risk, shared gain. The profit distribution is calculated based on how many shares you own. You choose how much to invest and in turn receive as profit.

\*\*There must be more to it?\*\*

Your stake in a DAO holds value. You can sell your shares for a price set by you, handy for when the DAO is full and business is booming to make a bit of quick crypto.

\*\*The legal stuff\*\*

Trading carries risk and while the risk is lessened here it still requires you to invest money into something that may or may not give you returns. Trade at your own risk.

\*\*The technical stuff\*\*

This app is a typescript port of a golang desktop app that used key stores for the wallet. For the Beta, private keys are stored in a database that is encrypted client side by a password of your choice. New wallets are automatically created and it’s recommended that you use an auto generated hot wallet instead of importing a private key from an existing wallet. The beta runs on Sepolia so use a Faucet to get sepolia ETH to start trading on the platform.

🔴 Live on Twitch now! Deploying my dApp to Freenet for the first time

Hi All, I have been searching for a solution to host my dApp and I've decided to try out Freenet as it's the most feature filled p2p internet that I've seen asides from Tor. Freenet seems to be competing side by side with Tor but I think Freenet has the edge with deploying contracts to a node. It's simple only a few cmd lines and it should be live.

So today I'm giving that a go.

My dApp allows users to create clubs that primarily trade Crypto Tokens. In these clubs users can buy shares that contribute to a treasury. This treasury can be spent by creating proposals where shareholders vote on whether to sell or buy tokens. Each shareholder gains a revenue from owning a percentage of the sale price proportionate to the amount of shares that are held. More shares, more revenue, higher initial investment or stake. Low shares, lower revenue, lower initial risk.

That's the gist of it, you can catch me on twitch https://www.twitch.tv/obj_server

Best export settings for high quality audio / music videos for youtube

As the title suggests I want to export a music video to youtube but the 1080p mp4 settings at 48khz audio on youtube is trash in comparison to the audio quality on soundcloud for example. Best project/export settings?

My music is a little too repetitive, is there a specific cadence to transitions and fills?

Like when a different bass sound comes in or when a sample is played, is there a specific timing to it? Will be easier producing if I set myself a rule to implement a change every 8 bars for example

[BUG] Arpeggiator player not initialised on first beat when bouncing

Must be a bug, I'm using reason rack extension in logic pro and when I use the arp player it doesn't work on the first beat and instead plays midi like normal when bouncing out the track. This happens even in the middle of a project if I bounce out. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there any way I can make a bug report?

I'm running MacOS and Reason 13
