Currently I am in my early 40s. There is no chance that I will ever own a home and at the age of 67 will only have my age pension of live on. My 60s will mostly be unemployment and part time work, as the only labour I can do is manual and who in their right mind would hire me after 60. So, decisions need to be made now. My question is this, how hard would it be for me to obtain public housing around the age of 60? I have rented privately my whole life and thats all the experience I have in terms of housing.

I‘m thinking of studying a bachelors degree but in order to gain entry I must first pass an undergraduate certificate which will be then be credited towards the bachelors degree with guaranteed entry into the bachelors degree. My question is as follows can I get Austudy for the undergraduate certificate? And do I then need to apply for Austudy again for the bachelors degree? I spoke to the university and they said that I can enrol into the bachelors the semester right after finishing the undergraduate certificate but I would have to apply since it’s considered a seperate course. I’m worried that if I have to apply again for Austudy they are going to make me wait like 3 months to approve it.

So, I’m going to apply to study Ba Arts degree soon, at Griffith University through Open Universities Australia. I was wondering whether Griffith University sends out information or welcome letter through the mail?

Would it be possible for my local post office to hold arriving mail addressed to me? I live with my brother who has a mental disorder and he keeps throwing my mail away. He and I have the same initials, would that be a problem? Like can the post office discern mail addressed to me and mail addressed to him if we have the same initials and same address? And what happens when your mail arrives at the post office, do they send you a notification that you have mail? Thank you.

Currently if you are deemed job ready you are placed into digital services for 12 months. What exactly will change? Do you stay in digital services for more than 12months?
