I’ve decided to keep my E and not get a Prius or EV, but I really want a panoramic roof( one that doesn’t open). I would think due to not needing electrical components compared to sun/moonroof it would be theoretically easier and cheaper to do but I’m not sure.

Ps. In the future I also would like to do an engine swap for a 08’ Acura TSX K24A2 engine to give it a little more pep.

I have been looking for the past year but can’t come to a final conclusion or what I really want.

Obviously excellent fuel econemy is a must( but really can tgo wrong with any) and looking to be close to the 50+ CITY mpg.

Currently i have a 2011 honda element that basically drinks gas at 15mpg, so for the longest time thought the now discontinued Prius v was the obvious choice, and while i still do wan it am womdering if the 43mpg will be reasonable.

Necessities that i would really like is a panoramic roof( fixed glass roof) as I’ve never had one or a sun/moon roof but heard they are a pain the maintain.

The reason I want something somewhat spacious is because I would like to go roadtripping and at minimum want to be able to camp in car ( I’m 5”6)

I do like the 5th gen prius but at least in my area they are still pretty high even for the 2023 and rhe 2016+ eco 2 and eco L are the same price of buying a new 5th gen.

I only drive 10 miles a day in city traffic but again road-tripping is soemthing i would do if it wasn’t for my current fuel econemy.

I recently started considering a full EV like the fiat 500e, Nissan leaf, or 2012 tesla s. But outside of the expensive insurance that would come with that having to charge it every month for 1 hour a day and probably more if traveling would be new to me.

So long story short I found out my employer lied to me to get me to accept a job offer and the pay I was promised was not accurate but the only proof and time he told me was on a phone call asking me if I wanted the job.

I’m posting here because I have visible but per google ai slop, there is no such thing, just really Hoping there is a way since my paycheck was $200 short from what I was believed to be correct

So obviously I know I’m parked on an any pile but the thing is I park both my elements next to each other and my 2008 sc which sits lower then my 2011 ex never has try issue. I don’t know if it was just the way it was made or I have a problem that people might of also had…just looking for reassurance.

Seriously there is like a good 20 ants i can see so i will be putting out any bait traps and pouring ant killer around the spot, but this seems to be a recurring issue

My 2011 element has been acting up and Firestone( yes I know I know) quoted me $1700 to do it. Since I don’t know how to do it myself is the price close enough to justify or would you still buy parts yourself and look around for cheaper labor?

I think it is also worth noting there are other things wrong with the vehicle so it’s not like this fix will fix everything but at least I will be able to go more the. 2 miles without the engine overheating

I know this is a random post, but after the initial scare, I’m feeling a little bit of an adrenaline rush. I was doing a little bit of DoorDash for a couple hours off after getting off work, and was coming up on a turn a little too fast on the back end of the Neighbourhood. Honestly, I don’t even remember what exactly I did. Besides, I think I might’ve accidentally sped up instead of pushing on the brakes it while turning my steering wheel, but I could feel the tires turning separate ways while I was sliding and for a quick faint second I literally thought I was gonna flip.

I guess besides sharing that little incident if this has happened to you before is there any components I should probably look at that might’ve been affected?

I understand that all earnings from before 12 tonight will go into next week’s earnings if the dash isn’t ended before midnight, but since I’m not platinum anymore, I fought for my schedule really hard, which is 7 PM to 6 AM. I understand I will have to end the dash before 6 AM, but I’m not too sure. What’s the farthest I can stretch it out.

I don’t know if I’m sounding confusing right now so I’m really hoping someone understands what I’m talking about.

Seriously I just left the movies and accidently purchased a ticket instead of using concessions, but was shocked when I litterly got my pop and popcorn for FREE after doing a separate transaction, event the clerk was confused. I have been a platinum member for over 6 years and never knew apparently it covers the cost of membership so $10.99. All this time I have been using my credits for $5 screenings while spending $10-$20 on concessions. My life is forever changed

Skip to last paragraph for question but everything else is relevant to the question.

For context I’m at a low point in my life physically and especially mentally and since last November have been depending on DoorDash as my main source of income. Along with that I have mainly been working overnight which will admit has made me a lot more introverted then I already was and can tell I really have a hard time in public with a group of people around me.

I have all respect for door dashers truly, as I used to work at retail stores that used the service and never once felt superior to any dasher and went out of my way to even shop for the dasher to get them in and out. Now I do EVERYTHING that I can to draw the least amount of attention to me which is the main reason I work overnights, to minalmalize the time in and out of merchants and just better odds( win win)

Specifically by the end of my shift when I do chic Fil a orders I will do everything in my power to draw the least amount of attention to myself, I try not to dress and walk like a dasher( yes it is a easy giveaway) and always try to memorize the order and make up a last name for the last initial to make it seem like it’s my order, but chick Fil a always seems to put me on the spot and will ask me if I’m a a dasher delivering it. I understand that is a valid question but when they do that I almost always freeze up and lose focus because I instantly feel people looking at me and showing judgement. Generally what Gilles that as I instantly wan to get out of there is they position the merchandise and want me to verify it with photos and sigh a paper which is adding to the time I am in the uncomfortable situation. I understand that they are doing their job to prohibit dashers from stealing food, but am I really just being too dramatic or does anyone else know what I’m saying
