Aside from that hit me with some fics that make u go "I WANT MORE!"

As I'm writing my anime rewrite/whatever story I realize more and more that I might want to edit the anime in some big ways. For one the anime did NOT go exactly the same way. It was a bit more mature and realistic mainly but multiple things happened differently (sometimes in small or big ways).

Like Lt. Surge's words to Ash are different in the Indigo League saga. His words were less saying that evolving Pikachu immediately and more mocking Ash for being so weak that waiting to evolve Pikachu is useless. This was done more as a test than anything (Gym Leaders are supposed to guide the next generation not just battle them). Surge was seeing if Ash would be stupid enough (In Surge's would be words) to evolve Pikachu early. Surge of course wasn't gonna totally fuck Ash over tho, for one said Thunder Stone was an High Quality stone that could've gone for like 500,000$ pokedollars (Which isn't alot that much for Gym Leaders and Surge is a electric specialist who has raised literal hundreds of electric types so he has many laying around) (The conversion rate between Poke and USD would be like 2.5-ish poke dollars for every dollar in USD).

If Ash had? Surge would've went even harder using an 4th badge Raichu rather than an 3rd.

Another example is that Ash in this universe is younger than both Gary and Misty by more than in the original (Ash was/is scary talented at understanding pokemon and creative think so he surfed by on that talent and managed to become a trainer at 9 rather than 10).

Or another is that Pikachu was Oak's pick specifically bc Pikachu is a genius himself. Pikachu's explanation for appearing "chubbier" in the beginning was because about 55-60% of that "fat" was fucking muscle. Pikachu was also a genius at manipulating Electric TE (To the point that Pikachu was doing shit a Pikachu would be able to do as a Pichu) and was a bit bigger than average as well. (Not by a freakish amount but most Pikachu at Pikachu's age would be about 1.4ft tall give or take an inch while Pikachu was like 1.65ft (As in halfway to 1.7ft).

And I could go on (Hell I might copy and paste this before creating a more detailed version with more ideas I have).

But on top of this the more I go into doing this the more I realize I'm basically starting to combine the anime, manga, games, and my universe into one (I have another original pokemon series not following Ash and this story takes shit from that ones universe at times). And while thats fine I'm struggling on how far to merge them.

I want Ash to catch most of his original pokemon from the anime but I also want to add more. So basically an advice that can make this decision easier is amazing. Thx in advance.

Basically I want to know (in your opinion) what are the mods that work best with cobblemon so that I can do what I want.

I want to make my own region in cobblemon

I want there to be unique Gym Leaders, Elite Four Members, and Champion. I want each to have a personal team where its their actual team (Like the one they originally trained) each original team will consist of anywhere between 8-20 pokemon where there will be random team comps to be picked from. Personal teams are EV and Iv trained with a competitively built set of moves, held item, and nature. And each personal team is level 100.

You can challenge the Gym Leaders at any order and level, upon talking to them u can pick from a set of options. Each Badge Level and each badge level has different levels and teams and each level has like atleast 2 teams to be randomly picked (With teams ranging from level 15-85) and u can pick based on the level of pokemon ur bringing.

Once you've collected all 10 badges u can sign up for the conference (A massive tournament) that waits for there to be atleast 300 signed up players and the registered players all duke it out for first place (Which gives insane rewards) and the right to challenge the league. U battle the E4 which are 4 trainers with competitively built teams with multiple rotating possible pokemon and level 100's. The twist? The E4 have 1 mega, 1 Z move, and an ace that is level 102 (And increasing by 2 for each new E4. So the first has a level 102 and the last has a level 108 with the champ having a level 110.)

The challenger can switch pokemon between fights (To an extent with them having to register their pokemon without knowing the specialties or teams of the E4 and Champ.) They can have a max of 18 pokemon registered.

Winning gets u put into the Hall of Fame where the regions history is affected by u. In the Hall of Fame (Which is a public teleporting area) there is a Statue of you and every pokemon (and their names) u used around u. The champ u beat stays the current champion but ur put into the history of this new region.

There are (some) limits tho. Legends, Mythicals, and some others are banned. Tho Urshifu isn't banned bc lore wise its not a legend and thats enough.

Each Gym is located in a massive pre-created area were u have to face trials and tribulations to eventually fight the Gym Leader. Each gym is stylized to be unique, and if u explore you'll see and be able to interact with pokemon of the gym. This will include the Gym Leader's personal team roaming around as well as serving as the only clue to what their pokemon might be.

Each Gym gives loads of money, rare tms, rare pokeballs, and sometimes rare pokemon born from a Gym Leader's Personal Team.

I want to try and make a set area which is the region (Having EVERYTHING a region should have) with buildings, monuments, shops, pokecenters, and so on while also having the option to leave into the wilds were pokemon are random (and if there's a mod for it maybe agressive) and are usually higher level (If there's a mod that can make that possible then I would appreciate knowing).

I also want for the pokemon world to be immersive, with maybe pokemon being all different sizes (Like one Weedle is 2x as big as the other) and maybe make it more possible for interactions between the pokemon and the world around them.

I also would like for any mods that aren't explicitly related to Cobblemon but run well with it (I want to create the world in survival and once everything's done I'll likely make it a public server.).

Is this too much to demand/ask and if this comes out rude (I'm often called deaf to when I'm unintentionally rude)

As I said here I'm doing a kinda rewrite of the anime and have gotten to XY. I recently thought of an idea but idk if it sounds like stupid anime protag luck bs or not.

Basically in this universe of the anime Legends and the like are actual gods (Ash NEVER beats a legend in this universe, Goh never catches Suicune simply earning its favor and Tobias had non-legend pokemon that were just really well trained). But encountering them? Happens disturbingly often.

In the episode where Talonflame evolves in the anime, the ep still happens like that but there's consequences both good and bad.

The bad consequence is mainly the massive scar Talonflame gained (A burn scar covering pretty much her entire underside plumage area) and its so bad that the scar hurts for months (Do u know how hot a flame has to be to cause that to a fire of Talonflame's strength??? Moltres's flames could've turned pokegrade steel in Liquid Ash in seconds).

The kinda good consequences? Talonflame in her desperation to stop the Flamethrower (Which would've killed everyone) managed to hold on long enough for Evolution to change, Talonflame's Flame Body evolved to such an extent that it could burn a fire type (Which while not impossible is extremely fucking difficult to do) and is just like 10x stronger than the common untrained Flame Body (Abilities in this verse can and should be trained. Compared to a trained one its more of a 5x but will prob eventually with training go up to 8x).

On top of that evolution while it did put as much of the energy it could into Flame Body it eventually hit a limit so the energy started to leak into everything else. As a consequence Talonflame is as big as an Alpha of her species with having the actual gene.

For example a fully grown female Talonflame that has been on the proper diet and been trained to the Champion-level (I say Champion bc Talonflame will eventually be there) will usually be like 5'8-ish (Give or take 2in) in height with a wing span of about double its body height (So like 14-ish feet give or take 2in).

Talonflame is a not fully grown female Talonflame who is already reaching 10'2-ish and has a wing span of like double that and she's only growing.

So does this sound dumb or no? I hope it doesn't but still.

I want to create a region of my own. And I'm still deciding alot bc I put it on the shelf for a long ass time to do my other projects and only now am I revisiting it. I think I want the region to be based off of a mix between Russia and Feudal Japan mixed in with some modern America(Bc adding some American shit will make this easier bc I'll need less research to do it fucking right).

And I want there to be some culture differences. Like Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Champions are treated like Lords and Clan Leaders. And each Gym Leader, Elite Four and the Champion won't specialize in a type but style or ideal of sorts.

Like one might specialize in speed striving to embody and master speed, another might specialize in Rain or Weather in general.

I want to add some little notes I have from a while back:

This is where Urshifu originate and they are this regions "pseudo legendary".

This region has somehow remained no contact with outside regions (They don't even know eachother exist) but its closest to Unova, Galar, and Kalos.

The climate is like a mix between Unova's, Kanto's, and Sinnoh's. So kinda chilly but not freezing and has blazing summers while its cities are kinda as big as Unova's but different.

There is no official starter pokemon, instead its considered a right of passage to catch your own. So if u have a sponsor they'll give u a pokeball or 2 and a loan pokemon.

This region does have a conference but its treated like a super competitive show of skill that winning is considered a major honor.

The legends of this region I want to make revolve around Discord and Harmony. The notes I had basically had a duo of legends that kept a balance between Discord and Harmony but one day the God of Discord went on a rampage and tried to consume everything in its path, the God of Harmony intervened was after days of battle began to tire while Discord seemed to only grow stronger. Just when it seemed like Harmony would fall, the God of Duality stepped in and managed with the help of his bestfriend the founder, sealed away Discord.

That my current ideas any and all feedback is appreciated.

So I was playing showdown with an admittedly niche team. The guy I was facing was on his last pokemon. A Galarian Moltres. I was on my last 2. And I quite frankly am confused bc I should've won but they're Moltes somehow tanked everything. It was at like 90% hp but I had a Liligant in Sun with hitting with a Solar Blade (The Moltres was tera fairy) and I Tera Normal'd my Zangoose. Yet it lived pretty handily (Had like 45-50% HP left) and both pokemon had been built with 252 attack EVs and perfect IVs. I'm so confused bc Galarian Moltres is super tanky either (Not frail but not tanky). Unless Fairy suddenly resists Grass or somthing.

Am I going insane or?

In my world I want to do a series for each region (Which I would say is pretty ambitious) with a new mc and everything. For Sinnoh I plan to have a different mc for Hisui and modern Sinnoh.

The Hisui mc is from present day, randomly shortly after becoming a trainer he is dragged into a alternate past by Giratina (I say alternate past bc his worlds Hisui already had Akari, Giratina ripped him to an alternate universe). Giratina in a bid to entertain themselves, while also trying to get back into Arceus's go graces. Decides to send his own chosen to help (Arceus already dragged his chosen).

The mc for Sinnoh is the opposite, dragged from her town in Hisui by Arceus. Arceus realized he dragged who was meant to be the hero to stop Team Galactic into the past (Dawn), so he rectified this by chosen a hero.

I wanted Sinnoh to be more unique tho (Hisui is unique so that'll be fine) but Sinnoh is a pretty common region. So I wanted to make the team be unique.

So I was using ai team play a quest of sorts, basically the ai lays everything out and I make do with whats what. Partway through tho and I am starting to see that the ai im using is not good enough, needs way too much guidance. So are there any ways to either get a better ai or do something else with similar results?

I want some fanfic with Azula after the asylum where she finds herself while eventually finding a purpose in fighting rogue spirits.

Is there a story when Azula is the avatar and (Or really anyone but Aang) and the story does show the important stuff from canon but also puts more of a focus on the intricacies of bending, like where we just get to see the character that centric practicing bending and genuinely mastering it further

I've been really enjoying playing romhacks and I want to get a strong collection before going through them all and devouring the content at the usual rate that I would. Below will be a list of different ideas that I think would be interesting, and it also may benefit other considering they can use recs given as well.

1. A gba version of any of the 6-9 generation games. With new quality of life improvements alongside really any improvements anyone can think of. Giving the option to make them harder as well bc even more casual players can admit that 6-9 generation games are all REALLY easy and a little more of a challenge is nice (I personally would want WAY more of a challenge that little more but hey)

2. Gba games diving into the idea of ancient versions of region not Sinnoh. Sinnoh got hisui and it was amazing (Tho I wouldn't hate another one that's different than Hisui to be unique and cool itself). Like maybe Kanto back a couple hundred year before Johto and Kanto became indigo, during a time when they were at war and the players tasked with ending the war. Stuff like that sounds really cool if u ask me. Maybe for Paldea you could have some weird time paradox stuff happen.

It was on ao3 and its a multi-part series where Izuku is REALLY good at acting and goes around acting like different people. Eventually its found out that Izuku actually had a quirk that made his acting skills into a power.

I have multiple times tried downloading various romhacks. Mosty recently is Pokemon Miragea's Traveler. But each time I do download everything I can't figure out what to do after that. Like I don't know how to do anything (Legit just know how to download the stuff and kinda know how to do the zip thingy). Legit any help is appreciated bc I am NOT good at this stuff.

I'm curious on how some people treat legends. Me personally the legends are massively powerful primordial gods. Like when I say powerful I mean like Articuno could beat their wings and freeze a mountain without a thought.

Founders, as their usually called, are the original champions and the ones who founded their leagues. All were VERY strong being hundreds (sometimes thousands) of years ahead of their time. Only with the most recent champions have trainers reached their level (This generation consists of Lance, Steven, Wallace, Cynthia, Alder, Diantha, Kakui, Leon, and Geeta (Atleast for now).

The first was the founder of Indigo who single-handedly gathered powerful allies and put a stop to the decades long war between Kanto and Johto, his final fight to unite the regions was against the biggest obstacle to peace, the Blackthorn Clan. This final fight would later be called "The March of Indigo" where the founder would also gain his main title "The Indigo Knight". His allies would all also go down in history. The Indigo Knight's original name was lost to history, but his legend lives on through Indigo and its people. Many higher ups know that some of his team still lives to this day. For example the indigo knight's ally, George Williams' ace still lives (The Gyarados in Cerulean Gym in the anime) and over its 500+ years of age and could take on Lance's whole team and have decent chances of winning (Keep in mind pokemon usually get stronger with age, so Gyarados from way back then couldn't do this but now it can).

In Hoenn the founder would become know as "The Grand" for her contributions to uniting Hoenn. Before she came Hoenn had been in what would later be called "The Age of Distortion" darkness ruled over the region, ghost's from Mount Pyre flooded out in the hundreds. People in desperation began to brutally fight over what little they had, causing bloody wars to break out. The Grand appeared suddenly one day and single-handedly fought back the wave, and brought light back to the lands eventually bringing unity. This final fight would later be called "The Day of Light". Sadly the founders name was also lost to history.

In Sinnoh the founder known as "The Rising Dawn" would become the greatest champion. Her name the only known one of the founders, Akari the Rising Dawn. She appeared suddenly one day and brought along with her a reckoning. She settled disaster after disaster and brought about a new age never seen before. One where tribes weren't enemies and Pokemon weren't enemies to be feared. First she quelled the Lord of Trees back from a rampage. Second she healed the Blooming Ones wilting body. Third she washed away the Raging Flame's wrath and stopped the "Great Wildfire" before it could swallow the land whole. Fourth she defeated the Thundering One before disaster could be fall. Fifth she conquered the Titan of Ice and stopped it rampage. And finally she stepped up when *&^%^& tried to bring them to this realm.

That's currently all I have right now but ALL regions have founders and each of the founders were powerhouses. Akari was quite literally blessed by The Alpha. and all the others earned approval from godly beings. Which is VERY rare.

In my series Ash and his gang aren't main characters (Kinda) but important side characters to the mc. I plan to have multiple stories each with different mcs for each region. Ash IS eventually a mc of sorts in Alola but only an mc in the way that misty was in the original series.

So bc of this I want to have some things down for him and his group. Like in this universe he's older (14 during Kanto timeline but is almost 20 by Alola and is an Champion level trainer who simply is what's called a Nomad Master which means he doesn't stay in one place for long and usually is in the wilds traveling).

Or like how his team is a good bit different (Tho not too different), I don't have it fully planned yet but I currently plan for him to have an Raichu, Annihilape, Snorlax, Charizard, Gigalith, Feraligatr, Serperior, Aegislash, Lokix, Garchomp and I plan for more and am debating giving him Pidgeot/Kingler. I don't want for him to have all of the starters he had nor all the pokemon (Its rare for a master to have more than 14 let alone 40) and I just picked random starters of each type.

I plan for him to travel with Misty and she'll take Squirtle instead of Ash. Brock can't travel with Ash even if he wanted to. But I need Bulbasaur to go to someone else so I chose a new and pretty unique option. Forrest, in my universe he had been planning t go on a journey (Bc he wants to take over the gym, but you HAVE to be master level to become a gym leader) and had been planning to leave about in about a week, but meeting Ash changed his plans. Forrest takes Bulbasaur (And Maybe other pokemon from Brock need be). Forrest had already gotten his starter, a rhyhorn, but before leaving Brock stops them and gives Forrest a parting gift, a onix. Which is mostly insane bc of its pedigree. Its parents are Cerberus (Brock's personal team Steelix) and Golem (Golem didn't want a name but this one is also part of Brock's personal team).

Basically I'm starting my first Nuzlocke (Full randomizer, meaning random enounters, abilities, and learnset) and I have three mons that are pretty good and I would like for them to go to the final E4 and Champ fights. Might be a little early to be planning but hey.

The first one is:

Garganacl - Male - Achilles
Ability: Intimidate - Held Item: Leftovers or Silk Scarf
Moves: Population Bomb, Body Press, Rock Slide, Stealth Rock.

This is what I've got, the other abilites were Bad Company and Galvanize (And Intimidate will make this thing a absolute wall). Population Bomb is the only somewhat decent move its random learnset has. And I kinda want to try using that as a main attacking move and pair it with a silk scarf but I also see merit in Leftovers.

Second is:

Hatterene - Female - Andromeda
Ability: Wonder Skin - Held Item: Leftovers
Moves: Luster Purge, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, Shell Trap.

Hatterene only gets one ability and this ability is just meh, but aside from that its a amazing special wall to combine with my physical wall. And its randomized learn set has 2 fairly good moves in Luster Purge and Shell Trap. Could geniunely do amazing againt Bruno and maybe Lance.

Third is:

Xurkitree - N/A - Kronos
Ability: Sweet Veil - Held Item: Choice Scarf or Choice Specs
Moves: Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Origin Pulse, Soul Robbery.

Xurkitree is pretty interesting for me tbh, never used it but it hits hard and with Choice Scarf could be pretty damn fast, and Choice Specs boosting its 174 special attack could be insane. Its ability is also meh like Hatterene and it also only gets one. But this thing could be a powerhouse, with its biggest problem simply being is frail-ish-ness.

Any advice would be great

(before I start I want to say I'm new to this thread so I don't know if this is the right tag)

I'm looking for a number of romhacks, I would like various versions of the current main nine regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Paldea.) that are like Hisui (I would play Legends Arceus for Sinnoh but I want something new.)

I would like for them all to have pokemon from their actual generation but also maybe either some pokemon from various different gens or have pokemon up to like gen 7 or something. And It would need the whole physical-special split. But aside from that anything is cool (And I'm looking for one for each region). And if possible some help on how to install it bc I have always struggled with that.

Basically I want to eventually have a story in each region with a different mc. And I plan to do Orre (I wont do all the minor regions but I will do some like Orre) and I am admittedly not the most familiar with the games of Orre. So I want to get some feedback on the outlines that I have for it so far.

First for Orre I plan for there to be 4 mcs in total (Which is unique to Orre with all other regions only getting a single one) and eventually these mcs will meet and kinda form a alliance, with all of them wanted to unite Orre and make it a better place.

Second, The Wildlife of Orre as well as its resources are actually quite good (With beautiful wild life and lots of pokemon as well as having lots of different valuable natural resources) but the thing that makes Orre a shitty place is (unsurprisingly) the people, who seem to be addicted to committing crime. Orre is full of cruel and violent crimes, a good amount targeted towards Pokemon (Such as poaching, illegal trafficking, cruelty and abuse in general) but its not limited to that, it also is full of other crimes against people. Such as drugs, violent murder, rape, theft, and alot more.

Third, Orre has a League but it's mostly full of corrupt politicians and planted gang members.

Fourth, The evil teams(or whatever u choose to call 'em) from Coliseum and Gale of Darkness are both gone, there is some leftover members but not enough to allow for the teams to rebuild and the leftover members have all either gone into hiding or have joined other gangs. This happened bc the player character from both games have been combined into one dude who was VERY strong and in the end single handedly destroyed both teams (Which in this universe were coexisting and allies who fought him together in an all out war) and the guy (haven't really cared to name him yet) was killed just after he managed to win bc of him being weakened. He's become kind of a hero to lots of people and a boogeyman for just as many. (Mainly bc he WAS at the level of the greats)

Five, most of the leftover crime groups are minor branches of team rocket or are relatively small gangs. With none of them matching the power that team Cipher and Team Snagem had. Tho there quantity has really gone down just the quality.

So how does it looks so far?
