I am a egoist when it comes to sports. Not even a single day have I ever spent without running miles in the ground or playing any sport. You name any major ones I have played it, badminton, swimming, basketball, volleyball, tennis, athletics... Anything. My weight and height would make you believe that I'm one of the most fittest humans on earth. I have never been overweight in my life and I'm still not. "What can even happen to me?"
2 months ago I got a broken ligament. I went into a plaster and rest for a week then exams chimed in. Yesterday I got my blood works done and for no absolute reasons I tested my blood sugar, cholesterol and liver... Just for fun.
Everything was normal untill I turned pages and I saw a total cholesterol of 255 with a 185 LDL. That is even more than my dad's who is 55+ and I'm just about to be 20. A severely high level of cholesterol... I paid with my health in exchange of my marks.
To all those who feel you are fit. Get your blood works done timely. I have never gotten my blood test before this without any reasons and this was the first time for things that we feel "this is for all the oldies". I got my ego crushed today with just a page and I'm now standing in for appointment with a doctor in line of patients who are between 60-70 age.
I look fine, I look my age and I look absolutely fit yet I who have never even touched alcohol or cigarette cause of my "good health ego" was instructed to quit it. LoL.
I really want these jeans but savana being savana takes 15 days for shipment and yet give tears of disappointment. My height is 5'4 - 5'5 and mostly idk how all the jeans crawl upto my ankle, even though I ain't tall.
Does anyone have these pairs. If you do, is it good. Does anyone have a better brand to suggest?
I have recently come upon a lot of videos on social media talking about how they got into "debt traps" as soon as they entered 20's.
I'm stepping into my twenties and I am really scared about the adult stuff. People younger than me are already earning and investing while I'm still behind.
What is the one advice about investment and finance that you wish you could give your younger self.
Episode 4:
This has to be the real clap back to all the series which showed drunken love and to all the characters who ever said "I couldn't resist cause he jumped me".
I had a good laugh in the scene where he was throwing stuffs to show directions. So cute. This series is going amazing till now. Hoping for the better.
For me, It has to be absolutely dumb characters. Like why are you even existing atp. There is no personality and the plot is just so vague.
Umm honestly all the men in this are jerks. But it's like who is a lesser jerk. Gap and Put are genuine sweethearts but duh P'Dan, why would he just plaster pictures of someone without consent. For the first time I found the bottom has some brain of his own and doesn't just 'glorify' stuffs in name of love. Buttt.... Then I saw him emotionally being attached to Big Jane while he was in a relationship with Dan. Now I'm questioning... Is this basically emotional cheating. It's interesting no doubt but the thing is I wanna know how they justify the behaviour of P'jane at the end to make jane and P'jane the endgame. Cause I don't see his actions much justifiable. Really Curious.
Fun part is I listened to the OST for the first time... Why does it have a lyrics saying "you're a red flag but I'm colourblind." That too in English. It feels like something a Gen-z would do. 😂. Hiding random slangs everywhere.
Backstory - I used to be head of a department related to media in a college society. Me and my 2 mates all started as great friends, we would go out and chill together. Like everything nice. And I also used to work my ass off as a head. Like legit till 2 am I would be editing stuffs. Now I'm on a talkative side with less pocket money to burn. Suddenly after a while, my mates (2) started taunting me for not owning an iPhone as I used to ask for their phones for society works, as per their own instructions. Then they started to hurl disregards infront of my team juniors saying how I'm "useless" and how I don't work. But this joke was never made on the other one. They knew I was good with clicking pics and all the media stuffs cause they would call to edit and click their personal stuffs but whenever we went for a group picture they would call me "ugly" and say how I can destroy a pic just by showing my face in it. They both are really gorgeous people I have to say and I'm not. Yet it is a bit harsh to say that in front of my juniors and everyone else. To the point the prez had to ask them to shut up.
Now I'm promoted and im in a position that one of them wished for. And I'm getting the heat for that. I have to do all the work while they chill. It has to continue one more year and mind you one of them is older/senior to us.
I really hate confrontations. What can I do?
I don't have a mysterious personality, too chalant for that but I do have a mysterious and serious face. As if I would be the rude-st person out there. But I used to keep a diary when I was in middle school which used to have a table in which I used to keep a tally of how many friends I have, how many times I have fought with them and for what reasons and how much I loved them.
The embarrassing part here is that... I used to carry that diary and keep it in such a way that if my friends wished they could read it. Hopefully they never read it. Ig I was Attention seeking AF.
I'll put mine first. I just have a lot to talk always and the problem is about every damn thing. I put my neck into all the field and experiences so whenever someone talks about something, I just free throw opinions or a similar experience. Now I realise how insensitive I might have been
Let's start with me. I have a lot to talk about and that too about every damn thing. I have put my toes in every experience and topics. So I share my experience and opinions when it's not even needed. I realised how irritating it must have been

I am someone of colour and south asian. I really need some good solutions for dark elbows, knees, underarms, knuckles and inner thighs. If anyone has found some product that has successfully helped them out kindly suggest them
I have always wondered if it's okay not to talk to your father even though you live in the same house as them. I do all the services for him, i cook, I follow all of his orders, but I don't wanna talk to him. Conditions: desi household and strict father with orthodox thinking.
I have been taught that it is the moral responsibility of a child to service her parents and always listen to them. But what if the words he speaks are not acceptable at all.
Plot: he constantly supports the idea of husband being violent towards their wife. He barely ever cleans the utensils he has used to eat and nags the females that it's our "duty" to do so as females. These were said to a child who was barely 10-12 year old. He is a total believer of God and prays day and night. Yet he has been hostile towards everyone and expects us to live the same fate as our mother. He has been a physically violent dad as well and he takes pride in it. Instances were like he would not even let us buy cake on our birthday or celebrate anything saying. And many more instances to follow.
this does not include the stuff he did as a husband. that does not concern me. but the things he has done as a father has cause me and my sibling to have SH thoughts and severe mental trauma to the extend that we are alerted by footsteps, we know his pattern of walking by heart and I cannot sleep peacefully when he is home cause he doesn't allow us to sleep.
