Little Ceasars has the best pizza

In terms of absolute quality yeah probably there are better ones, but those you’re gonna pay $30 for. No pizza is worth $30. Little Caesars is like $7 and you get a tasty pizza. Price-quality ratio, you won’t find anything like that. Therefore, Little Caesars has the best pizza.

Coral vs Copacabana vs Banje Beach Club

Going to Dubrovnik next week with my girlfriend, and we want to spend at least one day at a beach bar/beach club.

We’re not looking for anything too crazy in terms of partying, but we’d also prefer not to just sit around talking and bore ourselves to death. At least having some people dancing around would be nice.

From what I’ve seen, Coral seems to be the most luxurious option. It’s €120 just for 2 sunbeds + a parasol, and €50 per person for a restaurant table (food/drinks are included in that price, but it’s probably the bare minimum, and we’d very likely end up spending more). So, in total, it could easily reach around €300 for two people. The atmosphere seems ok- not crazy lively, but definitely more alive than Copacabana. That being said, it looks very fancy and the reviews are good. If the price is justified by the quality of the service and overall experience, I’m ready to pay for it.

Copacabana is cheaper. Two sunbeds and a parasol cost €70, and food and drinks will easily push the total over €100 as well, so we might end up spending around €200. It’s reasonably cheaper, but reviews aren’t great, and at first glance, it doesn’t look as fancy as Coral. Apparently, the atmosphere here is more chill and lounge-oriented, whereas we’d prefer some DJs and a somewhat livelier vibe. The more affordable price is definitely a plus though.

Banje Beach Club is somewhat of a mystery to me. On their website, all I can find is the option to reserve a dinner table, so I’m wondering how that works with spending the whole day at the beach and using sunbeds, as well as with the nighttime beach parties. According to the reviews, the atmosphere is great and this seems to be where the real party is. However, I have no idea what the costs look like here, or whether it ends up being even more expensive than Coral.

So, given all the pros and cons, and based on your experiences, which one offers the best price-to-service experience?

Remember these? 2001–02 AHL Logos

Some beauties over here..

Good ol' days when the AHL was an actual hockey league and not just the NHL’s farm system.

Every ABA Team Logo (1967–1976)

Most of these teams no longer exist, and of the ones that do, only Spurs and Pacers logo has survived to this day in its recognizable form.

Dare you to pick your fav.

I'll start: Go Oaks!!!

The Killers being British band, might that be an ME?

I was quite shocked to learn they’re American and apparently I’m not the only one. Where did the assumption come from?

Alain Prost has a very good case for being the GOAT

He won four, but it's easy to imagine a scenario where he's an 8-time world champion if things had gone just slight differently.

He had it tougher than any other multiple champion. He had to battle the absolute best of the best throughout his career. The only title where he really benefited from having a dominant car and non-ATG team-mate was his last one with Williams, which he won comfortably at 38.

He wasn't the most naturally gifted in terms of raw speed. He relied on his driving intelligence, racecraft, consistency, and strategy. He also wasn't charismatic enough for the media to build myths around him or turn him into a figure that transcended the sport. The media never really did his reputation justice. He was mature enough not to care and just let people believe whatever they wanted.

He's the GOAT for me on so many different levels, and I'm gonna die on that hill.

People can keep parroting the same old takes, myths, conspiracies, misinformation, distorted reality, and double standards that have been repeated a million times.

But those who know, know.

He was a professor, and kids don't like professors.

Anyone else getting tired of people asking what PC they should buy?

I mean, I get it. I work in IT, so I probably know a thing or two about computers. And I really don't mind helping out.

My problem is that these people usually have absolutely zero understanding of technology or how any of it works. It's usually frustration with their 10-year-old laptop that hasn't had a proper update in just as long, and pretty much everything on it is completely screwed. Now they're finally ready to spend a decent amount of money on a new device that they expect to guarantee stability and speed.

The truth is, almost any reasonably modern device will give you exactly that, and it's actually pretty hard to go wrong. It's also true that every device will eventually become a pain in the ass if it's maintained the same way as the previous one. And while there are some differences that make one manufacturer better than another, It's sort of irrelevant for the your average casual office user.

You don't have to be a genius to recommend some ridiculously expensive, overpowered machine that guarantees great performance, but what's the point of having someone spend a fortune on an advanced laptop if all they're going to do is use Word and read the news?

What I usually do when colleagues or acquaintances ask me is keeping it as simple as it gets: Lenovo ThinkPad, Core i5, SSD. No overthinking, no reinventing the wheel.

Still be prepared to become the scapegoat the moment their new laptop decides to misbehave. And sooner or later, it will, because some people simply aren't meant to own a computer.

KTM-Binder total split, Steiner: “No more old baggage"

Sadly I think that’s it for Brad.

While I agree he prob didn’t do enough to get another chance, I find the way he’s being treated on his way out very unnecessary. He did a lot of good for this bang average manufacturer, kept his mouth shut even when he had every right to complain, and certainly didn’t deserve to get disrespected like this now that they’re about to part ways.

I don’t really like Steiner, sorry.

[TOMT][Movie] Movie I saw as a kid back in 90s

There are a brother and sister who find an old lamp in a box while cleaning out the attic after their mom dies and their dad gets a new job. When they rub the lamp, a goofy genie comes out, but they don't believe he's really a genie, so their first wish is for him to fix a porcelain doll. They then try to wish their mom back, but he can't do that. There are various comedy scenes, and the boy gets bullied at school. Their second wish is for their dad to get a big promotion, but they end up regretting it because it only makes him busier and less happy, leaving him with even less time for them. For the final wish, they wish for their dad to be happy and find love. He meets a woman at a party, quits his job, and at the end they say goodbye to the genie.

I was looking online for the movie, but every search just led to Kazaam with Shaquille O'Neal. While it's a somewhat similar concept, there's no way it's Kazaam. That genie was definitely not Shaq lol.

This World Cup really got me into soccer. But hear me out...

Soccer is surprisingly fun, gotta give you that and I hope it will get bigger in U.S. but one thing I noticed is that it's way too Europe-centric. Maybe Europeans should consider a few rule changes to make it more fun and bring it to a broader audience.

- Quarters instead of just two halves

- Halftime shows should be a thing at every game, not just the final. Give the fans the entertainment they deserve.

- Penalties as they are now are boring. I liked how MLS did it back in the '90s with the one-on-one against the keeper.

- A player who gets a red card shouldn't miss the next game. No team deserves to play without its strongest XI unless they're really forced to due injuries.

- The clock should stop whenever play is disrupted. What's the point of adding stoppage time?

- Ditch the offside rule. It's pointless.

- Ditch the domestic leagues and build a continental super league made up of only elite teams like Barcelona, Madrid, Miami, Paris, etc. I mean let's be honest, how many people actually care about your local matchup Cuckinghamshire FC vs Engelbert Humperdincks

How does Sachsenring compare to other circuits in terms of organisation?

TLDR: Excellent organisation, great atmosphere, and an amazing first live MotoGP experience. My only complaint was the lack of TV screens in the General Admission areas. How do the other circuits compare?

Sachsenring 2026 was my first ever live race. For someone who's been following this sport for almost 20 years, that probably sounds hard to believe, but when you come from a "third-world" country, that's just how it is.

Anyway, I was genuinely impressed by the organisation, which I thought was excellent. According to the official figures, more than 250,000 people attended over the Sachsenring weekend, so it was a pretty big challenge for the organisers.

To start with, there were police everywhere managing the flow of traffic and people to avoid unnecessary congestion or incidents, and they would immediately direct you where to go. That meant the huge, free P12 car park a few kilometres away from the circuit. Even though it was packed with cars, there were marshals there as well who would guide you straight to a free parking spot.

Throughout the entire MotoGP weekend, shuttle buses ran continuously between the car park and the circuit. As soon as you parked, you could hop on a shuttle. If you missed one, no worries; another would be there in less than five minutes.

I had a General Admission ticket, so I can't really comment on the grandstands. But despite the huge crowds, getting through the General Admission gates was surprisingly quick. With a GA ticket, you can access pretty much any area around the circuit (except the grandstands), so you're free to explore, find your favourite viewing spot, or move around throughout the weekend. Just keep in mind that the best spots are usually claimed early in the morning. I was naive enough to think that arriving at 9:00 would be early enough to get a great spot. It wasn't.

Merchandise, food and drink stands were everywhere and easy to reach no matter where you were. The track is also relatively close from almost every viewing area. We watched from Omega Corner, and the visibility was genuinely excellent, even though we were only in the third row by the fence. In the end, that didn't matter much anyway, because once the race started nobody cared about staying in their original spot, everyone stood up and tried to find the best possible angle to watch the action.

The only criticism I have is that, at least in the General Admission areas, there weren't enough large TV screens to follow the rest of the race. Most of the big screens were facing the grandstands, while the ones for the hillside viewing areas were smaller and much further away. There was only one screen in front of us, which meant a huge crowd gathered around it, making it difficult to see anything. Luckily, I managed to find a small patch of higher ground where I could see both the on-track action and the distant TV screen.

After the race, there were obviously huge crowds leaving the circuit, so there were queues, but nothing too bad. We waited around 30 minutes before getting onto a shuttle bus, and a few minutes later we were already back at the car park. As we got off the bus, everyone received a free goodbye Red Bull. Much needed.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the organisation was excellent, and while the races themselves probably weren't the most exciting of the season, watching MotoGP live is a completely different experience. I enjoyed every second of it, every pass of the bikes, and I managed to witness some great overtakes, including the battle between Crutchlow and Razgatlıoğlu.

I also met a few people who had been to several MotoGP circuits. They praised the organisation in Germany but said Austria is supposedly even better organised. On the other hand, they mentioned that tracks like Hungary and Brno can be noticeably more chaotic.

So that got me wondering: are there any circuits on the calendar that are known for being an organisational nightmare, or where the overall fan experience is noticeably worse?

All in all, it was an amazing weekend, and I'm really glad I finally got to experience MotoGP live. My first race, but definitely not my last.
