Hi all just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for digitising footage/ recording straight to digital?

I found an old Sony DCR-TRV110E after being packed away for at least 15+ years and was looking at using it again and editing the footage on my pc. I’ve seen the clear click stuff but the cheap little ones don’t look good and everyone online has the big expensive ones, I’ve also heard the aspect ratio and quality can be bad on the cheaper ones when using them compared to the long and tedious task of recording cassettes onto pc with a fire wire etc etc.

It would be a side hobby so I don’t want to drop hundreds and hundreds of (Aussie) dollars on one.

Hi all got my 91 a few months ago and gotten around to fixing the stereo and after diagnosis the cdm is fried, is it better to get a whole new head unit and cdm? Or find someone to fix it? Everything else works fine and the amps were replaced by the previous owner years ago.

Hi all the stalk on my 91 is really loose when it comes to pulling it towards me to activate high beams, I have to get leverage near the base of the stalk and pull it quite far towards me for it to activate and I fear I’ll snap the stalk with the amount of pressure I have to apply. However when using the indicator it’s completely fine and sturdy, would this be just a lose rod or something more serious further into the column?

Hi all just wondering if anyone know if I can buy red tail lights that have reflectors? I’m in Australia and to be road legal you must have rear red reflectors of some kind. Some people have been telling me I can buy some in America but I can’t seem to find any online or on rockauto, just cheap ones with no reflective properties.

Hi all got my 91 2 months ago and it’s been running as well as a 35 yo car would, however now when it sits for a couple of days and I try to start it up it floods with fuel and won’t crank over, I’ve been having to put my foot around half way on the accelerator to get it to go and black smoke shoots out. After it eventually starts I’ll drive it and it will go back to normal and starts fine. It’s just when I take my work car throughout the week and it sits for more than a day or two.

I’m hoping I just need to replace my fuel injectors or some spark plugs. I don’t have a obd-1 scanner yet so can’t determine if the issue has a code

Hi all just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a decent phone mount for a 91? Since the cup holder is to small, windshield and dash is also to curved for anything to stay suctioned on.

I’ve heard people unscrewing the vents above the radio and bolting on some metal plate but that only seems to work for certain years after 91

Hi all just wondering if anyone has seen any proxy war biker stls but instead of the boxy motorcycles it’s more like a Harley/ American chopper look? I’ve seen some dirt bikes, trikes and a few other weird ones but nothing like a Harley.
