Anybody looking for someone to run with?

I just came back to the game after only playing the first week it dropped. I’ve only got 3 championships, and I think I’ve played maybe 20 games total. The randoms have been rough they’re absolutely killing me.

I honestly don’t even know what to do right now.

I got fired because I was 1 minute late last Thursday. They brought up attendance from 2024 and 2025, and what really gets me is it happened the day after I used my FMLA after working there for 3 years.
I’ve already got health issues, and now I’m probably going to lose my health insurance too. I was supposed to start core and pelvic therapy on the 8th, and now I don’t even know if that’s going to happen.
I’m stressing because I’ve got bills to pay. I filed for unemployment and I’m just hoping I get approved, but the waiting is driving me crazy. My mind won’t stop racing. The only time I can really get my mind off everything is when I’m with my girlfriend and my daughter. I graduate July 18th from my cybersecurity program but I’m still just in shock really.
Has anyone else been through something like this? How did you get through it while waiting on unemployment or trying to figure out your next move? I feel like I’m losing my mind.

I got fired today, and I’m trying to figure out if this sounds right or if I should fight it.

I live in Arkansas and worked for the company for about 3 years. The day before I was fired, I used FMLA. Then when I came in today, they terminated me.
Their reasoning was that I had been a minute late on multiple occasions. The thing is, we used to have a grace period, and from what I knew, being a minute late wasn’t an issue. If they changed the attendance policy, nobody in my area was told.
What really confuses me is that they started bringing up attendance from 2024 and 2025 to add up points instead of addressing it when it happened. It feels strange that they waited until after I used FMLA to suddenly go back through old attendance records and use them as the reason to fire me.
I’m pretty stressed right now and have already applied for unemployment in Arkansas. Has anyone been through something similar? Do I have a reasonable chance of qualifying for unemployment, or should I also consider talking to an employment attorney if I think my FMLA use may have played a role?
I’d appreciate any advice or experiences.

Is God of War (2018) a good entry point for someone new to the series?

I’ve never really played the older God of War games, but I’m interested in getting into the franchise. Would starting with God of War (2018) make sense, or should I play the older games first to understand the story better?

Should I get LEGO Star Wars or LEGO DC Super-Villains next?

I’m getting back into LEGO games and I’m stuck between picking up LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga or LEGO DC Super-Villains.
For anyone who’s played both, which one is more fun overall? I like games with a lot of characters, exploration, and stuff to unlock. I’ve heard DC Super-Villains is underrated but Star Wars seems like the bigger experience.

How do y’all stay motivated making music or content when it feels like you don’t really have a support system?

I’ve noticed that when I post my music, the people closest to me might throw a like on it, but rarely repost or help spread it. Meanwhile, I get more love and encouragement from complete strangers on the internet than people I know in real life.
I’m still motivated to create because I genuinely enjoy making music, but it can be discouraging when you put a lot of time and effort into something and don’t see the results you hoped for.
How do you stay focused and keep going without letting that get to you?

Which 2 games should I get myself for Father’s Day? 🤔

Hey everyone,

I’m treating myself to a couple games for Father’s Day, but I can only grab 2 out of these 3 and can’t decide New LEGO Batman,UFC 6 and 007 First Light?

I enjoy a mix of casual fun, action, and games I can put a decent amount of time into. If you could only pick two, which would you choose

Is LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight a good first LEGO game?

I’ve played LEGO games with friends over the years, but I’ve never actually owned one myself. I’m thinking about picking up LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight as my first LEGO game.

For those who have played a lot of LEGO games, is this a good starting point?

Any positive reviews on NBA The Run?

I’ve been thinking about buying NBA The Run, but every review or post I’ve come across has been pretty negative.

Are there any people here who actually enjoy the game? What do you like about it, and do you think it’s worth buying right now?

Looking for Discord servers for music collabs / producers

I’m looking to connect with some Discord servers where I can share my music and possibly find other artists to collaborate with. I’m open to working with melodic artists, underground rappers, singers, or even producers who are down to build and create together.

I’m trying to network more, get feedback on my sound, and hopefully link up on some collabs as I finish up my current project.

Looking for melodic/underground sounding rappers/singers

I’m currently wrapping up a project I’ve been working on and I’m looking to add a couple collaborations before I finish it up.

I’m open to both female and male artists — especially melodic, underground, alternative rap, or even singers with a unique sound. If you’ve got a vibe that stands out (emotional, dark, melodic, experimental, etc.), I’d definitely be interested in hearing it.

Here’s my soundcloud

Feeling nervous about CT scan tomorrow…

Tomorrow I have an appointment with my urologist to get a CT scan done and I’m honestly pretty nervous about it.

I’ve been dealing with really bad urinary urgency and nocturia for a while now, and so far my urologist hasn’t seen anything concerning. He mentioned everything looked normal from what he’s checked, but he still wants me to do a CT scan just to rule out kidney stones.

I don’t know why I get so anxious about stuff like this, but medical tests always make me think the worst even when I try not to. I already had a cystoscopy done about 7–8 months ago, so I’ve been through some of this before, but I still get that same uneasy feeling leading up to it. I’ve never been in any pain just spasm feeling if that makes sense fyi

Just looking for some reassurance or good thoughts from anyone who’s been through something similar. If you’ve had a CT scan or dealt with similar symptoms and it turned out okay, I’d really appreciate hearing about it.

Send some prayers or good vibes my way if you can 🤞

What’s the correct way to call in using FMLA?

I recently got approved for FMLA through my job, but I’m a little confused about the proper way to actually use it when I need to miss work. Just because it’s through a company named sunlife. Do I need to give details about why I’m out, or is it enough to just say it’s an FMLA-covered absence?

Life hit me pretty hard these past months. I’ve been dealing with some health issues, and I also lost a family member, which really threw me off mentally and emotionally. Because of that, I feel like I haven’t been as locked in as I should be, and now I’m stressing about whether I can finish strong.

I’m not giving up, but I could really use some advice or perspective from people who’ve been through something similar. How did you stay focused or bounce back when life got heavy right before the finish line?

I just want to get through this, graduate, and get back on track not just with school, but with life in general.

Any wisdom or encouragement would mean a lot right now.
