My parents are angry at me for having dysautonomia lol

I've had symptoms ever since I was a teen but they gaslit me into thinking it's nothing and I'm a crybaby.

Ever since I was very young I was in charge of stuff around the house, helped with money and other things.

I moved out very early so I was never a financial burden, all I did was keep helping them and being very caring.

So anyway, At 29 it got much worse and I became disabled.

Their reaction was getting angry, being ashamed like I've killed someone and claiming I'm a POS that ruined their lives lmfao

I don't ask for an ounce of help. I don't share my problems with them and keep very polite contact and make sure they get to see their grandkid.

Just wanted to share. As a parent myself I don't get it.

They are of a very specific culture so this may be it, but still.

Is there anyone helping you with setting up appointments/research/planning etc?

Ever since I have dysautonomia and especially the last 5 years when I became severely disabled I'm very alone in this.

My parents want nothing to do with my health issues (but I need to help with theirs).

My husband helps but with the wrong stuff lol (he'll go and buy me a gift or groceries but won't help me set up an appointment which is obviously more important and depressing).

He has tons of free time because of the way his career works.

Is there anyone helping you with this aspect?

Smartwatch won't measure my hr correctly

So, I have dysautonomia including pots and IST.

I often have crazy hr and would like it documented.

When using a medical holter monitor, polar strap or just feeling my hr it can be above 150 and the watch will be like IDK 95 lol

I've used different brand, adjusted the size etc and yet the watchs algorithm blatantly ignores the sudden spikes.

If my hr will rise gradually there's a bigger chance it'll work.

Any tips?

Edit: unfortunately apple watch is not affordable for me right now and I'm using Android with galaxy watch or a Garmin watch.

If there's no other choice I'll buy an iphone lol

Why does oil change nothing for chronic pain but smoking gives fast relief?

Using the right amount of oil (from a good pharmacy) and yet it does nothing as opposed to smoking a few puffs which works right away and lasts long?

▲ 23 r/JDorama

So I really want to get into JDorama and looking for recommendations:

So far I have only watched Marry My Husband (which I loved much more than the Korean version) and Alice in Borderlands.

I want something with no slapstick humor, not too much comedy, romance is a must.

Preferably not historical.

Doesn't matter if it's a series or a movie.

What's a great song that you discovered from a Kdrama?

For me it's the Strangers from hell theme,

The entire Walking on Thin Ice Soundtrack,

The CLOY finale song,

And the soundtrack from The Devil Judge.

Is apple watch good for showing major shifts in HR?

I currently have a galaxy watch and it just doesn't measure my hr when it's too high lol because it considers it a mistake or a bug.

Does apple do a better job than there?

I need to get both an iPhone and a watch so I want to know if it's worth it.

Do your episodes involve only high HR or PVCs as well?

I've noticed that what bothers me the most in my episodes is not the very high heart rate. It's the fluttering and PVCs, skipped beats and feeling my hr change from high to low and back.
