Sorry reddit, this one might be veering into mean territory towards some women. We truly are woman-hating, misogynist who just want a girlfriend.

What are some common phrases that are particularly said my fatter women. You know, they tend to have a lot of expectations despite being in poor control of themselves.

• If he can't handle me at my worst, he doesn't deserve me at my best (highly said by fat women who think they will improve)

• It's a hormone imbalance (it isn't my fault)

• Skinny girls are <insert choice word>

I know, I know - the sub will say NO.

Another post has the Baby Vegeta promo, and it got me kind of nostalgic. We have all of these old tags/themes that just have faded to time. No more <Brainwashed> or anything to keep playing these themes.

Sometimes we get a trickle of 3-5 cards for an older theme. But it is usually still a recent theme and usually lower rarity stuff.

Obviously new, stronger stuff sells well. The 9th Goku sells well. But do we really need 5 new leaders each time (this time they are going for "fighting the gods theme" which is cool but many times the theme is weak). I think it would be cool if each set chose a color to revive an older theme.

• Incentivizes players to collect the old cards too. Gotta collect everything. (This is also a con)

• Slightly reduced design needs.

• Overall creates a deeper game.

A big case might be old leaders still awaken too slowly. I wonder if they can break the rules with - either a leader retrain release. Or imo more interesting, an SR that flips your leader for you. Who is to say the Leader always has to self-awaken.

Not a big surprise that Josh is in OKC, since he is like the only chef ever from Oklahoma. I hope he is happy to be back to his homestate.

He has kept his weightloss, and his profile is covered with Maht/Kevin Lee stuff, which makes sense considering Kevin Lee is big into pushing his media presence.

For the record, I tried Maht back in April. Food was meh, not bad not good. Desserts were not good. Experience was fun enough.

What are some games, for whatever reason, you wish you enjoyed playing but you just can't get into it. Maybe the components are beautiful, maybe your friends love the game, or maybe you enjoy the art - but the gameplay just isn't for you.

I don't know if anyone can relate or not. Unfortunately, my AP refuses to move out or live alone or go back home, so I'm the weird US adult who lives with their parent still.

They have nagged me for years to get a house. I finally got one, but it isn't good enough. And the "room smells are bad" so now there is no AC. This will be a warm fall.

To be fair, it was so hot they got over their fear of the AC and turned it on. But all of the windows are open, so the AC was just dying trying to cool down an impossible to cool area. AP really does not understand anything, but assumes they know everything.

Seriously there is no opportunity to talk to women if you listen to the world - and we are the type to listen to the world.

I'm in my 30s. I make 6 figures. I am 6feet tall. I don't play video games. I am slightly overweight but workout. I have never had a girlfriend. Yes, it is my fault. But that doesn't help me.

I am introverted. I am shy. I overthink. I have social inhibitions. The world doesn't support guys like us. Even you, just want to come here and yell about how it is our fault.

My biggest concern, maybe will be addressed when the rulebook comes out, is if I just trash all of my numbers, I automatically 0-out every round. Maybe the numbers make that very unlikely, but if you just focus on buying -value equipment, even your numbers become super useless.

Maybe the strategy is for other players to counter that, which is completely valid. But it seems like an annoying thing to set up in game.

Yes, there is one card (more if you buy from shop) that lets you concede a trick. But you would need all other players at the table to have that too just for the chance to hurt the 0-out player.

There have been threads on this before. I have considered, still considering, 3D printing a board base and then thick-paper printing and gluing.

I saw the previous thread that was just thick printout.

But then I saw a copy of SI on sale for 50% (very common sale) and though... has anyone just glued a new layout ontop of an existing board. Or artistically had the board repainted. Obviously this is a pricey~ish option, but I could do with extra dahan pieces etc, and on sale the game is pretty affordable.

Anyone have thoughts. Just stick to a 3D plastic print?

Arcs came up in another thread. I have my thoughts on it, but I only play casually, so I wanted to see what people here thought about the card Silver Tongues.

Anyone who's been, should I go for the Chef's tasting coursed menu or should I just try the normal dinner menu for my first visit. It isn't exactly about finances, but more about what I should do for my first visit/experience.

I really enjoy the main character! The teenage version story was pretty very, and the child actor is very good (uh I don't speak Chinese). Very entertaining to watch.

Sai (Chu) is also very captivating great casting.

I liked the nod to the Akira Toya Go board.

Was the instructive game played with Komi rules, I don't remember the manga. Big difference in outcome if so though lol.

Starts off a little slow in the middle. I just wanna see them play Go!. But it takes forever to get to the first game. If I was not invested in the story, I would not stick through 1 hour for that.

But even for new viewers, they probably don't care about Go. But the hour-long exposition dump and then just cutting to the loss review is kind of not so good.

I also don't like the change in Xioa Bao being interested in Go. A big deal was Torajiro never learned Go, he just played for Sai. Changing that story seems like a risk, since it changes Hikaru's key difference.

Hong Kong storyline is weird so far.

Still great show so far. A bit long and slow, but I am sure the anime was slow at first too. I really hope it keeps going strong in future eps.

Been trying for years to convince my family to watch this masterpiece. They need to see it.

A wish-granting being offers you the two choices

• Make every man 5'8". You will grow into it but never be above or below it.

• Make every man 6'3". You will grow into it but never be above or below it.

Does it matter which wish you choose when the playing field is even? Would you rather have every man be short and suffer or every man be tall and whatever.

Everyone can like their own games, but Flip 7 is just a press-your-luck random chance game. Sure there is skill in knowing when it is safe to press or not, but ultimately a lucky player can just get lucky.

Take 5 is another quick party card game, but I never see it recommended here.

• It plays smoother than Flip 7, as you aren't playing to 200 (which generally requires a calculator to be quick)

• It is far more strategic, you actively get to decide your choices and fate in where you place cards AND you can play in such a way to force others to take cards

• Rounds are just as quick

Not trying to be a contrarian or a hater, just wondering if the sub just has never heard of Take 5 or if they just don't like it. I think I would bring it to the table 100x before I'd ever personally open Flip 7.

It does look like Take 5 (6 Nimmt) can be hard to find. Beat the Heat would be easiest.

This might not hit for many here, but I am tired of the "misogyny" complaint when it comes to media or reality. People are just hating them because of misogyny.

No, we are disliking whatever because they are bad. Not because they are a woman. Now, maybe they are badly written because they are a woman, but that is on the writers.

Philogyny - the love of something because it is a woman.

I know, the goto is usually - you are just a misandrist or a feminist. But reality, the right answer is, you like x-person because they are a woman, and you likely therefore see her as a role model.

Your Mary Sue is amazing because she is a woman. So any man saying something negative gets the misogyny comment. No, you are just clouded by philogyny, you will praise any "strong female."
