Anyone who's been, should I go for the Chef's tasting coursed menu or should I just try the normal dinner menu for my first visit. It isn't exactly about finances, but more about what I should do for my first visit/experience.

I really enjoy the main character! The teenage version story was pretty very, and the child actor is very good (uh I don't speak Chinese). Very entertaining to watch.

Sai (Chu) is also very captivating great casting.

Starts off a little slow in the middle. I just wanna see them play Go!. But it takes forever to get to the first game. If I was not invested in the story, I would not stick through 1 hour for that.

But even for new viewers, they probably don't care about Go. But the hour-long exposition dump and then just cutting to the loss review is kind of not so good.

I also don't like the change in Xioa Bao being interested in Go. A big deal was Torajiro never learned Go, he just played for Sai. Changing that story seems like a risk, since it changes Hikaru's key difference.

Hong Kong storyline is weird so far.

Been trying for years to convince my family to watch this masterpiece. They need to see it.

A wish-granting being offers you the two choices

• Make every man 5'8". You will grow into it but never be above or below it.

Does it matter which wish you choose when the playing field is even? Would you rather have every man be short and suffer or every man be tall and whatever.

Everyone can like their own games, but Flip 7 is just a press-your-luck random chance game. Sure there is skill in knowing when it is safe to press or not, but ultimately a lucky player can just get lucky.

Take 5 is another quick party card game, but I never see it recommended here.

• It plays smoother than Flip 7, as you aren't playing to 200 (which generally requires a calculator to be quick)

• It is far more strategic, you actively get to decide your choices and fate in where you place cards AND you can play in such a way to force others to take cards

• Rounds are just as quick

Not trying to be a contrarian or a hater, just wondering if the sub just has never heard of Take 5 or if they just don't like it. I think I would bring it to the table 100x before I'd ever personally open Flip 7.

This might not hit for many here, but I am tired of the "misogyny" complaint when it comes to media or reality. People are just hating them because of misogyny.

No, we are disliking whatever because they are bad. Not because they are a woman. Now, maybe they are badly written because they are a woman, but that is on the writers.

I am not sure if he will check reddit, if we can get enough feedback to the designer, but PLEASE this is one very simple change that I think should be done to improve game clarity.

It is really annoying that you are meant to flip over the top of the invader deck and just leave the card there. It can't take many resources to just add another slot to actually keep track of each major invader step. Please, how has it made it through so long with the Explore step being on top of the draw deck.

2. I recently bought a house, because that is her dream. I have the keys, but we still have our apartment for another 1.5 months.

3. A non-Christian coworker has been struggling with life: house on fire, car totaled, death of several family members, and insurance is just very slow to repair her family's home.

I offered to let her family temporarily stay in the empty house until it is closer to us needing to move. I understand this decision has a lot of faith behind it to trust this stranger, but if God called me to help them what can I do.

It has been fights every day, over something meant to be generous. With the blessings God has given me, it is the least I can do to help someone.

But my mother finds everything about it wrong. She is a very bitter Christian when it comes to helping working people; the only people she thinks that deserve help are homeless on the street. If you have a job, you are "rich" in her minds - which is insane.

I can't even have peace at home. She was not totally evil to the family, but was still angry enough to cause them to feel distressed.

It is 3-weeks. It won't change our lifestyle at all, as long as they find an alternative solution in that 3-weeks time. But giving them that time I hoped would help them. Instead everyone is now just scared of my "Christian" mom.

I honestly, I trust God fully, but I don't even think prayer can calm her. I just need this to pass.

Having not seen the movie, the takes he makes seem fair. Based on his response, the threats just seem like some puritanical "believe everything we say" types trying to end his career. And maybe towards the middle of the movie he does become more villainous idk.

I am not seeing anyone. I have no girlfriend. I have told my AP I do not plan to marry. But of course, AP always bothers me to pray for the right marriage. It is not in my cards, stop it.

That said, today AP disowned me for picking the wrong partner - a struggling divorced single mom of 2.

I am not dating, or at all interested in this person. I have the resources, and God has laid it on my heart to assist very minimally (still hard to do). So I am trying to. But in her mind it must be a woman manipulating me (she has not said this, but must be thinking this). And therefore I am disowned for picking the wrong partner.

It is all so hilarious to me. I understand the concerns, but it is so funny for AP to want me to get married but then come crashing down when they think it is with the wrong partner.

To everyone else, every partner will always be the wrong partner. That said, I am just trying to be a good Christian and help someone down on their luck.

And reddit tends to love hypocritical Christians. Where my AP is always so so outgoing to help a homeless person. But if someone has ANY job all of a sudden, they are living well and don't need any help. Like people with jobs struggle too, and the fact that they have a job means they deserve help too.

Nothing new here, just an annoyance on the terrible state of affairs we live in.

My realtor was great - I never worked with their realtor. I found my house on my own from zillow. But somehow these two did half a year of work in 5 hours.

• I get it, my realtor spent more days with me viewing other houses too. Don't make it about complaining about my realtor.
  But the selling realtor just put it up online lol, maybe helped with pictures. It was bought in <24 hours.

THIS is why the cost of homes keeps increase.

I can't deny it. This constant need for realtor payments (as a percentage) is contributing to our housing issues. A house that was purchase for $100,000 now needs to sell for $106,000 for the seller to break even. A $500,000 house needs to sell for $530,000.

And everyone is obsessed with selling their house after 5-years (before it can appreciate that 6%). So they just tack on a higher price trying to capture those realtor fees. BUT people pay it!

I know the realtors don't get all of that. Their brokers and company will eat a large portion of it. But what a ridiculous commission for one sale.
