I sold a listing with 5 individual and distinct trading cards. Buyer promptly pays, I promptly ship.
A week later I get an INAD refund request with "seller sent X card name instead of X card name". Well, the card name he mentioned wasn't pictured or described in the listing at all...and I'm pretty sure he just made it up and that card doesn't even exist in the first place.
So I dispute refund and kindly point eBay to the listing picture/description with the entirely absent card the buyer is describing. Of course eBay sides with the buyer, refunds his money and doesn't even provide any shipping instructions or demands for the buyer to return the item.
What is even the point of the refund process?!
It seems like every other new post is a complaint about 11th ed balance so I felt the need to post this.
11th edition combat patrol is not fully released. We are literally missing one of the most critical parts of the format, which is missions and secondary scoring. Since we know for a fact that using mission scoring from big 40k does not match up with the combat patrol battlefield layouts we have been provided (no central objectives), we can safely assume that combat patrol specific mission scoring will be unique (just like combat force dispositions are unique).
Without proper scoring mechanics there is no way to accurately determine if combat patrols, let alone the format as a whole, is balanced at the moment. GW has stated there will be a combat patrol announcement around July 22nd that corresponds with the combat patrol starter set release. Hopefully this announcement gives us updated datacards and dedicated mission scoring.
I'm out of the loop, is Glory Valkyrie a limited release or something? I have never seen a new release sell out so quickly or become so difficult to get. Will it be re-released or released as Hasbro in the future?
I feel like I have too many models for too many games I don't get to play....I want to make some space and sell off some stuff. Which ones should I get rid of?
EDIT: I'm thinking of dumping maybe half of my Kill Teams and half of my SW Legion models? I was really hesitant to get rid of my ASOIAF minis but ASOIAF is winning the poll which I'm surprised by...why so much hate for it lol?
Just based on what I'm seeing so far it looks like GW did make some pretty major overhauls to the format and mostly for the better. I like the idea of potential new Combat Patrol Detachments for each patrol down the road add some variety. I also like how they are utilizing the Force Disposition from big 40k (although this means chapter approved deck is required).

Kind of a bummer that a lot of the patrols got wiped out but I do see it going a long way to balance.
When I initially created my VA profile I listed my service date from beginning of my contract until end of IRR period (4 year enlistment, 8 years w/ IRR). During my initial claim this presented some problems and I relayed my unnecessary IRR input to the VA which went ahead and closed out a Reserve service record search.
Anyways, that all got resolved and my claim was closed out with rating but I noticed now when looking at my veteran status card it shows my "Latest period of service" as my 4 years under IRR but labeled as Reserves instead of my 4 years active.
Will this present any problems? It isn't technically inaccurate but I'm pretty sure active duty years are supposed to be listed under latest service.
First time this has happened to me but I shipped out a high value funko to an international buyer a few weeks ago. Today it shows back up in my mailbox with re-sealed ebay tape, clearly having been opened, inspected and tampered with. The item is there with no noticeable defects that I can see. There was no return to sender on the package, no messages or update from ebay, nothing from buyer and the package still shows being shipped...what the hell? Anyone have any clue?
To preface I haven't played OPR since the last big update because I really disliked the implementation of the army special rules and all of the new keywords. However I logged back in to check out the new 3.6 beta rules and I'm confused what all of the "hype" is about?
For starters the new Assault keyword seems a bit pointless. We already had the Assault action (which I assume will still exist?), and now since pistols etc. can shoot in melee, hybrid units will effectively be able shoot twice? But it seems attacks were reduced across the board so what is the point?
Second, all the army rules and keywords appear to be mostly the same? There are so many conditional keywords and duplicate keywords it is crazy. It is like keyword salad and the unit profiles are bloated
Finally the "triplification" thing for Firefight seems lazy. While I wasn't a huge fan of the previous knock out roll mechanic, at least it differentiated the format. Giving everything tough 3 makes Firefight effectively the same as GDF. And then you have some units like Assault Grunts that are units of 3 models with 3 attacks each (and Bane) and tough 3 each for 100 points but a Prime Brother is 1 model 3 attacks and tough 3 for 85 points? And Hero models with tough 18...how is that possibly balanced?
I'm just curious how many people are exclusively playing Spearhead without playing or ever having gotten into big 2k AoS.
Personally I have probably played a dozen Spearhead games so far this year and own six Spearheads. I haven't played big AoS in well over a year and sold off all of my 2k armies except one and have no intention of play more this edition...I just have way more fun with spearhead.
I would make a poll but Reddit won't lett me T_T
I have assembled a lot of Warhammer minis, and dare I say Saurus Warriors are some of the worst I have experienced...anyone else initially have difficulty??
Managed to pre-order a box at MSRP from this seller...then got this message today.
As a new player with the starter set, give me a breakdown of which of the expansions (Wetworks, Impact, Badlands, Labryinth) are necessary for gameplay.
