So I'm looking to purchase a 2026 and have done some tests, watched a lot of video content. I'm pretty set on the purchase but I don't understand the shift paddles on the steering wheels. I have a 2019 now that I have had great experience with, simply love, and I'm looking to hand down to my grandson. I must say these shifter paddles confuse me and I hope I'm not losing my man card here but literally what do you use them for?

I'm reading Statue in Search of a Pedestal, biography of Lafayette. The man bridged the American and French revolutions and was a truly remarkable individual. Truly embodied the spirit of the revolution and was critical in the events on both sides of the Atlantic. I'd love a mini series based on his life. Inspiring!

Anyone else having trouble with getting the VR mods to work on their device? I'm running it on an i9 laptop with a 5080 laptop GPU and all my other PC VR native titles work fine but the mods will either crash or open up in a flat screen version running on Steam link. It's as if they don't recognize the VR headset is there or connected. I've ensured that Steam is the open XOR runtime but I'm just not having any luck after trying fear call of duty for and Halo. None of them will run. Not quite sure where to go to for support but highly respect the community here and hopeful I might get some direction. Thanks in advance.

I can't help but wonder, in the advent of all the recent mod work being done, as to what game developers and publishers are thinking about it. I've got to think they've taken note but what is Microsoft thinking about all the work done around all the Halo titles and of course so many other publishers? In my mind it has to translate into these games selling more. I know I've bought two titles alone based on understanding they now have VR mods. They went after the Luke Ross mods recently and while it didn't put him out of business, certainly forced him to change his approach to how he was handling this (and he might have me hooked with his dead space mod). I can't help but think there's a room of lawyers and bean counters that are going to crash the party sooner or later.

Seems we are rapidly getting to a point we need some way to track the rapidly growing number of mods and updates being generated for VR conversions. Sidequest might seem the ideal platform to manage this but there seems a great opportunity for someone or group to develop a web site and or app to host and help mange installs of new and updated mods.

Ok i need to know how the rest of you are handling this. I mean, one day I'm doing Halo 3, then OSD then CE, then Mass Effect now Bioshock. I'm reading things about OG MOH and Deadspace. I mean come on, I can't keep up!

Hi, I'm a Maryland resident who will be transferring a vehicle to my son, who lives in Virginia. Was wondering if there were things I need to take into consideration or understand as we work through this process. Anybody with experience out there doing this? Is it fairly straightforward? Are there charges and costs involved (of course there will be I'm sure)? Any guidance and direction is appreciated.

All these great vr mods out recently is very exciting. But the one I most want to experience in vr is Tron 2.0. Who do I have to pay to get this functional on my Quest?

So I've been eagerly watching for news about newer, lighter headsets with better optics dropping later this year or early next and I'm wondering what the take of the community is. I think we have new HMDs coming from Pico, from Meta, from Steam, recent drops from Pimax, UR-XR, and I'm sure I'm missing a few. What headsets are you most looking forward to, group?

It's been seeming like a real spike in development of VR mods for flat games lately with Halo 3 recently capturing attention.. Hearing About development of mods for Medal of Honor, Allied Assault, Dead Space, and others. do we have AI to thank for the sudden surge in conversions?

So today I picked up my Q3, hit power and.... logo spinning and spinning then Grey. Lenses had a dim light but no OS. Tried several reboots with more of the same. Did the volume down + power and got to the boot menu. Did a reset but still the same.

So what now? Any other options? Can the os be reloaded from Sidequest? And if it's dead any organization that could still make use of parts so it doesn't end up in a landfill.

I recently found out about the ability to open all your windows using the key fob trick of pressing the unlock button twice and holding it down on the second press to put your windows down. Great little trick but seriously, I can't roll them up using the opposite function? I actually have to go to the vehicle to put the windows back up? I'd like to think that I'm just missing something but maybe that's the design. If I'm wrong somebody please correct me. I'd love to find out otherwise. Thanks.

Does Eco Mode really help in any way? For example: fuel consumption, because I haven't been able to tell the difference. Do people use it for certain types of driving and find it helpful or is it there more for marketing and show?

Funny coincidence. Today I was over my mom's, who runs the Hallmark Channel and Murder She Wrote 24 hours a day, and saw shows that guest-starred both Janeway and then another one that had Chakotay. And the shows ran back-to-back. Always fun seeing them in different roles.

Just here to say that after playing this about four years ago I fired Sniper Elite VR back up on Steam and found it just as fun as when I played it back then. Just a really great experience. Yes there are some quirks to some of the mechanics but I got beyond them pretty quick and had a great time.

I got a call from the Honda dealership where I purchased my 2019 Ridgeline several years ago. They made mention of the fact that Honda was temporarily halting production, which meant that they had special deals on 2026 Ridgelines. My question, is anyone else receiving similar calls? Is it just a sales tactic or would there really be incentive for dealers to unload 2026 stock at this point?

So I just finished season one of Voyager and one of the things I feel lost about is the background on the Maquis. It seems like after the first two episodes there's not much further explanation of who they were or what they represented. Then in the last episode of the season, they have Tuvok attempting to whip a group of the Maquis into shape according to Starfleet standards. Were they just some sort of space pirates? Do they get into that more in subsequent seasons?
