Alternatives to FireTV Stick 4k Plus available in India?

I was thinking of getting the firetv stick 4k plus, but I have seen alot of negative reviews for it. Regarding how the new updates just pushes more ads, adds more annoying stuff and is removing necessary features from it.

I was wondering if there are any good alternatives to it available in India?

Onn box is good but it isn't available in India.
Please let me know if there are any better alternatives around the price of the fire tv stick

Does the fire TV stick 4k plus allow side loading apps as of now ?

I was thinking of getting the latest version of fire TV stick 4k plus, and was wondering if it allows side loading apps on it

Should I get the fire tv stick 4k plus

I was thinking of buying the fire tv stick 4k plus. I live in India and I don't have 4k max available here.

Or I could get the Google chromecast.

Both of them have a faster and quick UI.

But my main concern is side loading apps. Google allows it but for the fire stick I heard some people say it allows it and some say it doesn't.

Even if fire stick does allow it, i heard they are restricting it with newer updates.

Which one should I get?

Should I buy fire tv stick 4k plus(newest version)

I was thinking of buying the fire tv stick 4k plus.

But I was confused if I should get it or get the chromecast.

Fire stick is a big cheaper than the chromecast.

My main concern is side loading apps, i like to install alot of apps by sieloading? Should I get it.

Or are there any better options at the same price?

Edit: I live in India and I don't think the Onn Box is officially available here

I created a website to track and manage my tasks. (Basically a productivity tracker)

I created a website to track and manage my tasks. (Basically a productivity tracker)

Hey everyone 👋

So I'm someone who always struggled with knowing how much I actually worked versus how much I thought I worked. I'd sit at my desk for hours but had no idea how productive I really was.

I couldn't find a simple tool that did exactly what I wanted without being bloated, paid, or requiring 10 accounts — so I just built one for myself. It's called ProdTrack, and I figured I'd share it here in case anyone else has the same problem.

🔗 Try it here → ProdTrack

Why you might want to try it:

  • No sign-up needed — Just open the link and start using it. Your data stays in your browser.
  • It's actually free — No trials, no premium tier, no "pay to unlock analytics." Everything is free.
  • It's lightweight — No heavy app to install. It's a web app that loads fast and works offline too.
  • You own your data — Everything is stored locally. You can export it anytime as a JSON file. Optional Google sign-in if you want to sync across devices, but that's totally up to you.
  • It's open source — You can see exactly what the code does. No tracking, no ads, no BS.

What it can do:

  • ⏱️ Pomodoro Timer + Stopwatch — Use whichever mode fits your workflow. Pomodoro duration is customizable.
  • ✅ Daily Task List — Add tasks and link them to your timer so you know exactly where your time went.
  • 📊 Analytics — Charts showing hours worked per day, time breakdown per task, session history. Helps you actually see your patterns.
  • 🟩 Activity Heatmap — A GitHub-style grid so you can see your consistency over the month.
  • 📝 Manual Logging — Forgot to start the timer? No worries, just log the hours manually.

It's nothing fancy or revolutionary — just a simple tool that does its job. I built it for myself and I use it daily, so I'm actively maintaining it.

🖥️ I also use it with a small desktop app I made

I have another tiny project called Taskbar Timer — it sits in your Windows system tray and lets you start/pause a timer with Win + Alt + S without leaving whatever you're doing. Has Pomodoro mode too. I use both together and it works really well for me.

Links:

Still a work in progress honestly — if you try it out and have any feedback or suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏

I created a website to track and manage my tasks. (Basically a productivity tracker)

Hey everyone! 👋

I built ProdTrack, a free and open-source productivity tracker that helps you stay on top of your work. It's a web app — no downloads, no sign-ups required, just open and start tracking.

NOTE: I haven't hosted it to live as I made it for my personal use, but I thought people can actually benefit from it and use it. But in future I will definitely host it to a live domain.

I am not a professional developer, I have just created it as a hobby. I would love if you would appreciate this project.

🔗 Try it here

What it does:

  • ⏱️ Dual-mode Timer — Pomodoro (customizable duration) or free-running Stopwatch
  • ✅ Task Management — Create daily tasks and link them to your timer sessions
  • 📊 Analytics Dashboard — See hours worked per day (chart), time per task breakdown, task history, and session logs
  • 🟩 Activity Heatmap — GitHub-style contribution grid showing your productivity patterns
  • 📝 Manual Logging — Forgot to start the timer? Log hours manually for any date
  • ☁️ Cloud Sync — Optional Google sign-in to sync your data across devices via Firebase
  • 📤 Import/Export — Backup and transfer your data as JSON

🖥️ Bonus: Companion Desktop App — Taskbar Timer

I personally use ProdTrack alongside my other project, Taskbar Timer — a lightweight Windows taskbar timer app. It sits in your system tray and lets you start/pause a timer with a global shortcut (Win + Alt + S). It also has a built-in Pomodoro mode. Great for tracking time without switching to the browser.

It's completely free and open source. Would love any feedback or suggestions! 🙏

How do I undervolt i7 13700hx?

How can i undervolt my i7 13700hx. What settings should I change in throttle stop for best cooling and good performance as well?

Please guide me.

I was able to unlock an advanced menu in BIOS of my laptop by clicking "fn+tab" for 10s before turning ON the laptop. I also disable two settings called CFG Lock & Overclocking Lock to enable FIVR settings in throttle stop. But it says "Undervolt Protection"

It would be really helpful if someone who have already done it in their i7 13700hx.

I have an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 PHN16-71

Best Settings For DTS X: Ultra

Can someone please suggest me the best settings in DTS X for the best sound quality.

  1. What changes should I make in custom audio

  2. What should i set the Graphic EQ

  3. How do I setup personalize EQ for headphones, it is so confusing. It says "Turn down the volume until you can barely hear the sound" What volume should i reduce, my system volume or should i spin the dial?
