I tend to enjoy more literary books but really into the idea of reading an art heist novel. I’d settle for any old sort of literary heist but stealing from a museum seems most exciting. Any ideas?
Tonally can be funny or thrilling or romantic, but the plot should center around a heist. Not the selling of an item (like Goldfinch) but the heist or con itself.

I moved to Pasadena a few months ago and have struggled to find a good bar or two where the lights aren’t super bright. I like a bar that feels like you can kind of be tucked away. Doesn’t have to be fancy just hate bright fluorescent lights (like at 35er). Any recommendations?

Hi! My mother is visiting me in Pasadena she has limited mobility. She could probably walk 5 minutes or so tops. She’s 74. I wanted to do some fun things with her in the weekend during the day and I’m struggling to think of spots besides food. We have the Huntington on our list for tea. But any ideas for good places she might enjoy. She hasn’t been to the LA area in almost a decade.
