are there subreddits where you can propose ideas where answers can only be obtained once a study is conducted? (if you're not bothered enough to put in the effort yourself)
like, here's a stupid proposal. today i saw a r/coaxedintoasnafu post about anime artstyles, where OP made a generalization that anime art styles look like the anime girl cat anatomy "snout"-like nose, but then the comments were ABSOLUTELY BOMBARDED with counter examples where the nose looked normal and human-like and not snout-like. and this made me wonder, is there a place to propose something stupid like "can anyone research the ratio of regular anime noses to snout-like anime noses?" the kind of thing where you're not bothered enough to put in the effort to do the research but would rather have someone else do it
in essence i'm wondering if there's subreddits where you get to propose ideas for studies you have no time to do it yourself.
this bmw model looks like a still life of a car
the model in question is the bmw i3
when i first saw one of these in 2021 i could only think about how it looks like a black and a white car noclipped into each other. but now it feels analogous to the duplicating features of the backrooms still lives
2010s yt animation where a printer uses everything as a paper substitute and destroys the world and the moon with it
this sketch is a frame drawn from what i remember in the animation

[TOMT][2010s][YOUTUBE][ANIMATION][2D] office printer goes insane uses humans, cities, earth, and the moon as substitute paper
self explanatory. i saw a 2d animation once on youtube of an office printer saying "PAPER NOT FOUND. FINDING SUBSTITUTES..." (paraphrased) and then shredding people and cities and eventually the moon and (i think) the earth? i can't find it anymore from a google or youtube search

"frequency-sweep"/"wavelet" painting technique
i know the title makes no sense but just listen. in the field of digital image processing, images have various *levels* of details, on different "frequency" scales. low frequency details correspond to large blurry blobs in an image, while high frequency details correspond to tiny textures and extreme close up detail. and i decided to experiment with a painting technique where i just draw vague blobs and then i gradually add more until i see something and then i gradually refine it until something coherent forms. my technique is kinda reminiscent of diffusion models, except with pure human intelligence instead lol. oh and fun fact, if you search up a gif of static and stare long enough, you can conjure up moving shapes and even imagine things like bad apple
my fav is the 2nd image (two walls disintegrating upwards with two light sources behind them)

collection/list of statements i hate, now that we're sharing those
specifically, statements i find trigger very intense shame:
"no excuses" / "trauma is not an excuse"
"trauma is not your fault, but it's your responsibility"
"no one is coming to save you" / "no one can save you but yourself"
"stop playing the victim"
"no one owes you anything"
"you're choosing to be stuck"
"do it scared"
"growth mindset"
and some slightly less common ones:
"your ideas mean nothing if you don't execute them"
"only you decide if you want to change or not"
obviously this will never be a finished list but these are from what i've collected thus far
what do you even do if there's an artist you're completely unfamiliar with
i just find it stupid cuz like, why is there no neutral or "idk who this is" option, it's so stupid, what if you accidentally say no to an artist who made a super good song and you go "OHHH THAT ARTIST i can't believe i said no to them" or you said yes to an artist who made nazi songs or whatever. we NEED a "don't know" option.
