Is this statement significant in my final withdrawls ?
Like what can the difference look like ? Will it be in thousands, or a significant one in lakhs ?

If 1960's was the era of classics, 1970's of action, 1990's of romance, 2000's of youth films, 2010's of extravagant films. then 1980's (era of B grade films) and 2020's (nepoistic era of remakes), will always be remembered as the bad boys of the house. And any day, 1980's >>>>>>> 2020's in terms of acting ability, script, and atleast hardwork. 2020's will mog any decade to be the worst decade to happen to bollywood, partly due to the audiences which like cringey adrenaline rushing action movies, and partly due to the nepo party helmed by Churaliya Nepodia "Alia" Kjo Bhatt Kapoor, and Kjo - the worst joe to happen to bollywood. What's your take ?
Some illustrative examples of such books of my type are The Puffin History of the World, Volume 1 & 2, by Roshen Dalal. Another good option could be the Horrible Histories series, starting from Rs. 49/- on bookchor.com . I want some fun, engaging, and maybe illustrative, I dont want deeply written critiques on History. Thanks !
See now it's ENOUGH. I can't get the point of THIS much hate, Iyer is just a SINGLE match old, and yet you all have left no stone unturned. Atleast let the series get over, watch 1 - 2 more series, and then you may say whatever you want to. And how're you so sure, that had Surya been the captain, our top 5 except Sharma wouldn't have failed. And mark my words, when India wins the 2028 Olympics and T20 WC, this VERY SAME AUDIENCE will be comparing Iyer to Dhoni or something. You all are way TOO reactionary, definitely why there is a selection committee, I'm standing with my captain today, and I'll stand by him till he is the captain. You may include a 2 year timer to this thread.
I'm going first - I'll simply ask him the full form of NEET, if he fails, I'll make him write it a mole times, at the speed of light. Then I'll make him memorize Animal Kingdom, Plant Anatomy, and Respiration in Plants. Then I'll say you can go, and just as he reaches the door, I'll say sorry you leaked, you have to do "re - work". Then I'll make him do some juicy integrals, and to finish the day, maybe we could have some chilled E20 ethanol over some Rotation numericals, how about "Calculate the ratio of moment of Inertia of an uneducated minister, through whom paper (rho = 10) is leaking at the rate of dp/dt = 2026x^2 - 2024x, to that of an irregularly shaped minister, through whom 20% w/w ethanol (rho' = 0.78) is leaking out at the rate d(C2H5OH)/dt = 102x^2 - 95x, rolling down an atmanirbhar plane, making an angle with the horizontal, which is equal to the IQ of Delhi's CM". [Hint : Since the plane is atmanirbhar, take mew tends to 0]. Give your answer correct to as many decimal places as no. of press meetings the PM has had in the time interval d(t) = 2014, to d(t) = t. How are you planning your day out ?
Blud scoring his highest ODI score, while Head repeating the WC trauma, albeit this time on VK's side and middle order as usual backstabbing VK
Rajkumar Hirani says, "Dunki didn't connect because people haven't faced visa struggles."
Siddharth Anand says, "Fighter didn't connect because people can't relate to fighter pilots."
By this logic :
The irony is, we all have watched and enjoyed all of these films. Absurd logic, Hirani, just accept the film was mediocre and move on. You were overwhelmed by SRK & expectations buddy.
Lets see logically, if we add 3 format brilliance, trophy cabinet, and overall impact, then yeah he's gonna mog down even Viv Richards & Don Bradman, but it's basically unfair, since they didn't have those formats back then. Could be called more of a modern day GOAT, or batting GOAT, but the ultimate GOAT ? You've got contenders including Sachin, Warne, Muralitharan, etc. ? Talk only about limited overs ? HE IS THE GOAT. Talk red ball cricket ? I'll probably think twice. Even 2 of the fab 4 are clearly miles ahead of him. So though he might be the white ball cricket GOAT, but calling him the REAL GOAT is diabolical, and you know that deep inside even he will disagree to it.
No hate, but "the" GOAT doesn't gets out in the very same away, 9 times in a crucial test series, without any introspection. He had the best peak out of all modern day batting legends, and that is simply unarguable. His field presence and energy are unparalleled. He has has unmatched fitness, acting as a benchmark throughout the world. Has been a golden player in clutch moments.
Easily 1 of the top 3 GOATS of cricket ever. Peace !
Like after playing and performing for so many years, do you still need instant gratification ? WOW, maybe you need to take out a page or two from VK's books, man just comes, performs, prays, goes back, practices and repeat. No drama !! And on a lighter note, out of so many A - listers, the last person you found to promote yourself was Vidya Balan ? Seriously ?? Absolute respect to her craft, but on the popularity and reach side, she is in the lower tier

So, I know that all of your time right now is really important (I dunno whether that's the case if you're still reading this out here, a few hours before the D-day lol), so I'm not gonna say any generic boring stuff. I just want all of you to feel, that, if after the hardships of 2 years, and maybe even more, with the grind of PCB, and with all the outside noise & scandals, if you have reached this point, you all are no less resilient than a doc. Whatever happens tomorrow, doesn't take away anything from that. In a medic's life, more often than not, conditions keep changing, not everything plays in your favor, and that is what it is. But if you all did manage to restart and kickstart your studies, even after throwing away all your notes on 3rd May, and you all have reached this point, all over again, you all have a doctor inside you. Doctors never give up, just chill if you're able to, which am sure you won't much be in a capacity to be, right now, but as poetic it may sound, "life always takes the right turns, when you see in hindsight". The best stories are the messy ones, and this one was supposed to unfold this way, and some roads turn for the good. Have a smile, show some style, and just walk down the final mile. Best of luckkk !!!
I'll go first, it's DCH for me, the one film which made me forget everything while watching it, and I just got so hooked into the story, it felt magical. Maybe Tamasha is a close second.
The tumor has spread. The government is doing nothing other than fooling the common man, putting millions to disadvantage for ONE ENTIRE week. The thing is, the scammers are scammers, if you block it in India, they'll use VPN, if you somehow manage to block VPN, which is NEXT TO Impossible, they'll switch ways. The point is - WHY AIN'T NTA auditing and interrogating the very teachers and paper setters, who let the paper out in the first instance. This ain't a joke. This telegram ban, is nothing but a last minute panic button which has been pressed as a desperate attempt to cool down the common man. The joke's on NTA. Do share, do spread it, Satyameva Jayate !! Peace ! See it here : Bypassing Telegram ban using free VPN

An AIR so goated bro got an entire freakin poster all for himself
Logically, it's really unfair to cite trophies as the only measure of a teams growth and specially, dominance, over the years. So I've made a mathematical model, that equally rewards silverware, consistency, as well as dominating campaigns in ICC tournaments. See, it might look arbitrary at first glance, specially when you find NZ & SA above Pak but it simply boils down to consistency and the logic. My criteria is as follows :
Now, as for the tournaments, I logically believe that the assigned points, underline the difficulty as well as the prestige of every tournament, while doing justice with it. As for Runner Ups getting 2.5 while semi finalists just 0.9, I believe that reaching the final is itself a big stamp of the teams ability to play under knockout's pressures as well as a final any day is way more special than a semi final, just due to the fact that 4 teams play the semi's while only 2 reach the finals. Also if we look at the minimum that we've awarded for winning a trophy, ie. the Champions Trophy, which is 5, I believe that the runner ups deserve a 2.5, because they were the second best with equal chances of winning, coming into the final. Anyways as the hierarchy moves upward, it only becomes even more proportionate. Same argument for awarding #2 till 2019, and #3 since then in Tests, because they don't have semi's to decide the finalists, and the teams get to schedule their tours as they like, finishing one shy, looks genuine enough for those points. Anyways, it's always an approximation, but still it can give us enough insight.
Insights : AUS & IND are clearly way ahead than the other 8 teams, with Ind leading Eng by a margin as big as 75.9. The middle league, is a much thinner, and competitive layer formed by the upper strata teams, ENG, WI & NZ, and the middle strata guys, PAK & SL. The lowest strata anyways consists of BAN & AFG, separated amongst themselves by a Quarterfinals, and two super sixes. When adjusted for consolation points, NZ propelled to 4 times the points they had originally. It highlights their consistent efforts to reach the summit, almost everytime to defeat. WI, though having not won anything in the last 10 years, but still being on 4, gives a testament of what even their 2000's and 2010's team was in reality, awesome.
At the end of the day, this my logical perspective on the cricket dynamics as of now, and I am happy to consider any views of yours. Peace ! Jai Hind !
So as it was expected, it has happened, really nowhere out of the blue, this was long coming. A current T20 WC winning captain has been simultaneously kicked out of both his captaincy and the team as well. Anyways, his peak & form were anyways long gone. So to address the elephant in the room - Why can't either in International cricket or in Domestic Circuit - Indian players time their retirements as perfectly as they once used to time their deliveries or shots ? If an Aussie, or a Brit, or a Protea as great as AB de Villiers, or Warner or Smith, or as we keep flipping over, Gilchrist, Sangakkara, Malinga, Lara, or modern contemporaries like Eoin Morgan who was the World Cup winning captain at the time of stepping down & retiring, why can't an average Indian player do the same ? There are legendary exceptions like Sachin & Kohli, but in the end, even Sachin himself had admitted that BCCI's plan to move ahead from him was a shocker to him*.* Really ? How many more crores do you plan to mint, and is your respect for your own legacy so tarnished ? Everyone will say that the only cause stopping them is money, but then again, I'm completely fine as long as you hang your international boots at the right time, I'm all happy with your continued presence in the domestic circuit or the leagues. Because at the end of the day, everyone HAS to earn. But sticking in the national colors ? Nope !
Legendary Gavaskar, who himself retired when he was at the peak of his form, famously said,
>It is better to retire when everybody asks you, why ? Rather than when everybody asks you why not ?
But it seems those words never reached the conscience of his succeeding generations, with Kapil Dev being pushed till 1994 for the sake of breaking the record of most wickets, then Azharuddin being dragged for 10 years on the back of 3 back to back 100's in his first 3 tests. Even the modern day greats, Sehwag, VVS & Ganguly dragged on their respective careers before making a controversial exit. Dravid, though retired gracefully, and with his legacy intact. When we come to the present era, almost every player except Kohli, seems to drag his career and try to stick around, for as long as possible, be it the national or the IPL scene. Due to the huge influx of talented young players, and inabilty of the senior players to take a conscious call on their time, it is going to be a rather tough phase for Indian Cricket after 2027, if the youngsters don't get enough time in the team, and a deserved & smooth transition. Even a legend, who never thought about figures or exits, Dhoni, embarrassingly continued to be part of the team for a couple of years, but ultimately he did contribute when needed the most, and above all, he gave invaluable inputs to the team. But coming back to present day, if you're 35, you're form is visibly over, you're at the helm of the most popular format, of the world's biggest cricket team, and most importantly, there are more deserving players than you, I don't find it a disgrace to announce your retirement, rather than getting kicked out by others. These are controversial, but frank opinions. What's your take on this ? I agree, age is just a number, but then if you ain't performing, then, the game is anyday bigger than the best of the players. Sacking really sucks big time, and ruins the legacy for passionate fans. Peace !!
