I've seen too many people (including me) getting destroyed trying to find a flat because of all the fake and lead generation tactics used by brokers. Only source of truth seems to be the people who are living there.
When I went to visit flats with brokers, I used to try and get phone no. of people living in the building to understand the actual issues of living in that flat.

So I decided to try and find all flats online where the person who has posted the flat is actually living there or has lived there and is moving out.

I started building Ghosla app, forever free for everyone. Currently you can browse listings from other tenants and post your own listing if looking for a flatmate/replacement or just moving out.

I randomly stumbled on a youtube channel just full of cycling through streets of Mumbai in the morning. Its honestly so soothing and relaxing that I might watch it every morning with breakfast to increase my attention span.

I got tired trying to find a good home to rent. It's frustrating to fall for fake listings and lead generation tactics by brokers. Whenever I have tried to find a flat to rent, I've always felt powerless to the whims of brokers and owners.

So I made an attempt to change this process. This is a tenant to tenant rental platform. Basically you find a flat to rent directly from the tenant leaving the place.

Every good flat I found was through a friend who used to stay there before.

So this is my delusion to try and start a change in this sector, and try to make this process hell of a lot more better.
