Why was Hinata not good at serving ?

He did not have a team to practice with or get play time during the flash back times

But, he could have been practicing serving anyways - right ?

Like, to me it seems like the kind of practice we see the characters do for improving their serves, it is all stuff Hinata could have been doing anywhere all by himself.

Between that and watching some matches, he would have had a really solid serve when the series starts.

Has this been discussed before ? I found some threads about his serves, but they focused more on the similarity with spiking, which I doubt its all too similar at all - because not only was Hinata bad at spikes until halfway through the story, he can't be expected to practice spikes alone anyways, which was the whole point of his flashbacks.

[40K] Where does the loyalty of Mid-level members of various factions lie ?

Like, given the choice to revive any person in their individual living memory, whom would they pick ? Or given the choice to pick a successor, what qualities do they value ?

By mid-level, I the person has to hold significant power over a large number of their faction members, while still being subject to a significant share of powerful people above her/him.

Lets talk about Gotoh

Leorio, Kurapika, Killua, and Gon all managed to push open the multi-ton gates of Zoldyk estate. None of them had any Nen training yet, so its all physical strength here.

We know for a fact Razor is leagues above these Nen-less boys. By the time the boys face him, they have undergone training under Wing & Biscuit, and their talents have been stimulated by encounters with Hisoka & the Troupe, as well as the Greed Island.

If 2 weeks was enough to go from not budging a single door to pushing open the doors, then given the training above the boys should be at least 10s of times stronger on Greed Island.

Yet neither Gon nor Killua could catch any of Razor's balls.

So it is safe to assume he can launch balls with the strength to push open many of the gates easily.

Hisoka did manage to catch Razor's shot with his bungee gum, but when faced with Gotoh's spinning coins his hands were forced into a twist.

So - what kinda destructive force are we looking at when it comes to Gotoh ? Can he level city blocks in Tokyo while shooting from the Sky Tree ? I think he is an underrated beast for the usual scale of HxH fights.

To put into perspective, I think Gotoh would fare far better than Hisoka against someone like Uvogin or Nobunaga.

Rock Lee and Neji team-up, who is the strongest Hollow they can take down 2v1 ?

Naruto vs Bleach

Ichigo and Uryu are on vacation, and it comes to Rock Lee and Neji to team-up and protect the Karakura town.

This is just after Uryu is introduced in Bleach. He gives them all the info he has about hollows before leaving.

Neji and Lee are their teen selves from Shippuden, and have their standard gear. Acceptable win conditions are killing, incapacitation, and permanent BFR.

R1: Grand Fisher Hollow form

R2: random Gillian

R3: random Adjucha

R4: Grand Fisher Arrancar form

R5: How did Ikkaku get here ? Anyways, he is in on the fighting too.

What would be the capture level for these foods ?

In terms of difficulty of finding, capturing, preparing & cooking - what scores would these foods fetch ?

Kaido and Loki's devil fruits - need to kill the creatures and have a fruit ready for the DFs to respawn into. May need to find the DF if it respawns elsewhere. How strong would gourment hunters need to be for capturing them & correctly obtaining the fruit ?

Sensu beans - need to reach Korin's place and either defeat Korin and Yajirobe to take the beans by force, or convince them. Yajirobe did slice through Oozaru Vegeta's tail, and demon Cymbal too. Makes me think these would have a high level just from that, let alone the healing effects.

Tonio Trussardi's Bizzare food - stand user from JoJo's part 4, dude can cook aggressively healthy food. Significantly easier to obtain, but perhaps way harder to find since he does appear to be a regular chef & hardly anybody knows of his powers.

Idunn's Apples - golden apples of asgard, capable of restoring youth and vigor of gods. Might need to be stealthy with this one, stealing food of gods can be tough.

King Cold was a good father, a great leader, and the greatest mortal history buff we saw on-screen

King Cold recovered the remains of his most arrogant and spoiled son, and when Freeza said he was nearly killed by the legendary Super Saiyan - instead of dismissing it, he believed him and made sure to nip the problem in the bud personally.

Instead of sending some underlings, he chose to take immediate action and got personally involved to see things to the end. Him leading by example has inspired Freeza to be more proactive too as we see in Super.

But above his qualities of fatherhood and leadership, stands his love for history.

Dude very clearly knew about the Z Sword, something even Toriyama hadn't heard of at the time. When he saw Trunks dice up Freeza, his mind immediately went to the mythical weapon of gods.

He also knew about, and made abundantly clear to even Freeza, the horrifying existence of Majin Buu and Beerus. Despite the spoiled upbringing and the arrogant nature, Freeza obeying his father when it came to these details shows Cold's parenting prowess.

Of course, like most history buffs, he wasn't immune from exaggerated stories.

It was very refreshing to see a nerd and doting parent like Cold portrayed so respectfully - kudos to Toriyama and the team.

Can you suggest any fics about Sasuke being adopted into one of the Konoha clans ?

Like if one of the Naras or Akimichis adopted him as a full on son, or even external "honorary" member. Or maybe Hiruzen or Asuma steps up.

Maybe a story with Sakura's parents actually present, where her home becomes the Team 7 meetup spot because it gives the other two boys the experience they couldn't have - of being welcomed into a home.

I just want a happy Sasuke story. Preferably no romance.

Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks!

If Metal series were to get a continuation season now, something that focuses on another set of characters but takes place before Shogun Steel

Whom would you pick for the new main characters for the show ?

I think Sora, Kenta, Ryuto, and Ryutaro would make for a fun team. I think someone would be needed to fill that Madoka role for repairing the beys and giving exposition. Kenta is the experienced blader here like Gingka was, Sora is the hothead like Masamune, Ryuto is the calm one like Tsubasa, and Ryutaro is the enigma like Yuu.

Maybe we could have one of the Gemini brothers with one leaving the DNO while the other chooses to stay and pursue power.

Teru and Hikaru could be the main rivals perhaps, kinda like Kyoya and Benkei but more chill.

Zoro has his past with Kuina and her ambition to become the strongest swordsperson despite being a woman, and he has the tendency to go easy against female foes.

Tashigi has been sidelined for who knows how long, at this point people don't even peddle the theories of her being Kuina with amnesia or whatever. She has become irrelevant, and she was one of the very few actual swordspeople the series had given any attention to. But in the little time she was around, we saw her arrogance and lack of skill compared to Zoro all very clearly.

So, I think it would be great if she realized what she needed to do to grow stronger, and seeked out Zoro for his mentorship. Maybe he would refuse at first, but I don't think it would be out of character for him to accept an apprentice especially if they show enough grit and perseverance.

She can overcome her shortcoming of being arrogant and weak by seeking a pirate as her mentor, paralleling Zoro begging Mihawk, and training under him would surely show her the path to realize her full potential.

Meanwhile, Zoro would stop going easy on women as he is forced to take Tashigi more seriously during training/sparring the stronger she grows, and he would possibly gain insight into swordsmanship that Mihawk and others would be lacking because they never trained a direct disciple. It would be like the Feynman technique to gain better understanding of the sword. Maybe he will realize there is a certain "strength" that the weak rely upon, where they refine techniques to overcome gaps in physical might.

What are your thoughts on this AU scenario - where Tashigi joins the Strawhats on their adventure, not as a pirate or crewmate, but as Zoro's direct disciple ?

It would have to be brief to be most impactful, since she would be first to know she can't just be Zoro 2.0
