I got a high paying offer (at least to me, and it was at the end of my shift and on the way home) I got to the store and I waited for 30 mins.
Well someone had stolen the order.... And I kinda see why now, after seeing the tip. (I don't support stealing at all but lol)

And they said "well usually we don't do that but because you're like the 6th person who's come in for that order, sure." They were SOOOO done with delivery drivers. π It took them forEVER to make the food but it's okay, they were stressed.
The customer was very nice, a sweet girl my age (I'm a girl) and she totally matched the vibe.
I texted the customer saying something along the lines of "I can't imagine why someone would steal your order, you tipped good"
Now I'm cringing at what I said ππππππ
But either way, I got paid and she got her food!!!

I switched from doordash to Uber eats for a while because my account was deactivated, I recently got my doordash account reactivated and I had the chance to compare the two apps.
From a customer standpoint, Uber doesn't have many options and the ones they do are expensive ..
From a driver standpoint, I'm happy it's expensive cause I'm getting paid 2x more driving for Uber eats than doordash.
I get a lot more offers doing doordash, but they're all bullshiz.
I have 160+ accepted offers on Uber with a 40% acceptance rate. However I know that's very high compared to other people.
I have 100+ accepted offers on doordash... And a 4% acceptance rate

Doordash support is hell. I spent a year, 50+ emails and many hours on call to get reactivated for a false background check.
Uber did a background check on me within a day and I immediately got accepted(4 weeks ago).... But I have realized that both doordash and Uber support don't know what they're talking about and will just give you an answer based off what you wanna hear and then... not do it ....
For those who do both Uber eats and doordash, or have in the past, how would you compare the two?
I'm at that point that I will only do doordash if I need to be paid asap... Which is almost never.

I just started getting these yesterday, I get the "tip?" Immediately, not an hour after, and then I see this saying I'll get the tip 24 hours later. I'm confused, did I not just get the tip???
Earlier I got paid immediately after every delivery, then about like 4 deliveries later It started paying after an hour from dropoff again. What happened? I'm so confused???
