It is a nightmare for me to share my screen to my friends and share clips when things like THAT are there in the top right, especially when some people I screenshare to are MINORS. If me posting this is against the rules here for NSFW content then surely it's also considered NSFW on the app itself too right?

Annoying deeper colours after driver update

This has happened to me multiple times now. I update my driver and some colours are deeper, especially and notably the reds. I know about digital vibrance and such as I've always had those set to custom values and they are completely unchanged. Why does this keep happening to me?

What does mindless masses even do?

Because I expected to go into this thinking it would be more focused around voteless and fleshmobs but just a couple minutes of gameplay has made me see enough harvesters and overseers to see otherwise, it just feels like a normal illuminate mission.

Actually like the new update's patch notes

I'm normally very critical of the devs, I don't like some of their decisions, the latest updates and so on. But the new update just released and I've been reading the patch notes and I actually quite agree with it for once, I really like it. I do find some parts questionable, like a buff to incendiary grenades/seeker grenades and to exosuits, but I'm fine with some things getting a bit more power than they need if it means the lesser options are actually getting addressed. People might actually start using urchins and high explosive nades and such.

I'm hoping there isn't any deceitful hidden changes or such because that would really ruin it for me but I like the look of this update.

How come Brighton is the queer hotspot of the UK?

As a pan guy I love coming to Brighton, Southampton is okay but not great and I love how friendly it is here, I'm just on my way back home now after coming in a couple days ago to attend the carnival against fascism but I've thought to ask now.

What makes Brighton the place for queer people in specific? Did we just kinda congregate here or is it one of those stories about "we had to do drag shows here in WW2" or something like that?

[fully lost] Okay, this is a weird request

So, when I was a kid, I remember watching this minecraft machinima animation about the sponge block, about how useless it was at the time. It featured some characters remarking about this weird sponge block that kept appearing, and how fun it felt to touch it, but also how useless it was, then it came to life and had some sorta mental breakdown over it or something. But across the video like 4 times was a recurring joke where outta nowhere a guy in a spiderman skin would be ontop of a giant penis made out of mushroom blocks and go "DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS?" and someone would be like "Uh....no?" and he goes "IT'S A GIANT..........DICK!" and such. Yeah if anyone can find that it'd be insane cause I've SCOURED everywhere to try find it but it's gone, I think SkyDoesMinecraft might've been in it so that might be why it's gone.

Is there anywhere I can keep up on upcoming events?

If not here at least. I've never been one to try keep up on a town's events and such but I wanna take part in them more and just need to know how I can keep track of what's coming up.

Gonna do my first delivery (by bicycle) what should I know and expect?

Got my new electric bike which I'm planning on using to start deliveries with, got the bag and such too, what should I know? Because I'm not sure what to expect.

Like, when I take the order, am I given a sorta code that I give to the restaurant when I turn up and such?

My dog just ate 4 angel slices from Aldi

I stepped into the bathroom for a minute and found he had pulled the packaging straight out of my shelf like he's never done before and torn into it and ate 4 angel slices. I've looked and it doesn't contain chocolate or Xylotin or raisins but I need to ask, should I be worried?

He's a cockerpoo, Male, I think 5 or 6 years old now, I don't know his weight. Happened a few minutes ago.

Can we stop the "no autosprint" trope now that Rogue Core is here?

Long time player here, I've amassed 2650 hours on the game and to this day I still don't understand any reasoning or logic as to why autosprint must not be added in. I've heard the responses given, and they don't make any sense. The game director Mikkel is against it.......why? I've heard various answers, some being about "feeling like you're sprinting" which doesn't make sense as to why the option can't be there, or about "choosing when to sprint in response to danger" which also doesn't make sense considering no enemies benefit you from walking and move speed almost always makes things better. I've seen so many people argue in favor of an autosprint, and a few empty responses against it that make 0 sense. Let's go over:

"What if I want to walk"
Hold shift to walk

"What if I don't like that"
Don't use it

"I kinda like walking at times"
Don't use it then

"But there's mods"

There's so many problems to go over with why that answer doesn't work. For starters, mods are never 100% reliable and can and will break, we can already see this with both autosprint mods on modio right now, the older iteration breaks and forces you to have to manually sprint again, while the newer iteration passively breaks less but completely disables sprinting when it does and has incompatibility with certain mods. There's also that mods gets abandoned, both of which have. Mods aren't on console and likely never will be, at least one of (possibly both) autosprint mods do not work with a controller. Updates can break them, the older iteration of autosprint was a great example of this the moment season 4 happened, where when using the mod, picking up any beer mugs/lithophoamers/lithovacs/heavy mineral and such would instantly crash the game, imagine if we weren't so lucky that the dev was still working on the mod back then? We'd have lost it completely. The worst part is how the mods interact with second wind where they have it always on, the 1st mod had to have the main version disable second wind with a different "approved" one that re-enables it, we have to make mods as workarounds for missing QOL then we have to make workarounds for those workarounds because of how janky and broken doing this is instead of having a basegame feature.

Even outside of modio, where people use .pak files to mod the game instead on their own clients, it's still not great. There's a newer 3rd iteration of autosprint, one that handles it by making it so walking speed matches sprinting speed, this solves the problem with it breaking. Except, now there's numerous other issues; movement while shooting is faster so it now has to be recalibrated with movement penalties on every single gun in the game (with further ones than the existing on gunner's weapons), then heavy object carry speed has to be tweaked, and once you have that all out the way, you still have to tackle status effects, the only issue there is a lot of those are shared, so if you scale the status effect for a higher slowdown, you inadvertently now penalise the enemy more than the vanilla game, and the only foreseeable way around this is learning to do blueprinting/coding with Unreal Engine when it comes to the mod, something I have yet to do and believe I shouldn't have to just to get this basic feature into the game.

And now it's all gonna have to be done in Rogue Core, if it even can be mind you, and if the modders even want to, I sure don't. I'm just still a bit perplexed as to GSG's avoidance of adding certain QOL features inspired by modders really, we got angled drills, but why not something like this or weapon heat crosshair?

Please GSG, as an avid supporter, I ask you to take this feedback and act on it.

Scientology recruiter on the train?

So I don't actively live in Brighton, I come here for a weekend every few weeks or so to hang out with some friends cause of some gigs here and I love the place, I was just on the train back to Southampton going home when I sat at a table across from some buff guy opposite me. Nothing happened for a while but at one point I started biting my nails, a habit I often do because of my autism and anxiety. The guy across from we waved at me to take my headphones off, and offered me some advice about going down to see a stand called "dialectics" or whatever down at Churchill square after asking me how often I go to Brighton. Notably, he kept saying Churchill square til he offered to forward me the details after I gave him my Instagram for it, and lo and behold it's the fucking church of scientology. I don't wanna confront him or anything so I just let him get it all out, he doesn't mention it being about scientology at all, and I started looking up posts in this page about scientology and as expected it seems they're terrible people.

Is this a common thing? For them to be looking for "people with problems" as the guy put it? On a train I mean? Have I gotta worry now that the guy has my Instagram?

I remembered from a previous time that Poison The Medicine was a trial that genuinely gave you a run for your money when it comes to bomb countdown, so you can imagine my surprise when my current iteration of "I want shit to be stressful but not just tedious like no running/psychosis damage/bleeding" turns out to be........yeah, stressful. Genuinely if you want an interesting and fun challenge that isn't just "do psychosurgery on level one and be miserable" then try this concoction out, I was surprised I actually managed to do it.

So, at least in my eyes, and my friend's, and I'd like to believe we're competent. Heal rig is a bit in the dark, it already was a bit before the recent changes to xray/barricade but it kinda beat them enough to warrant not being addressed. But of course, we got those changes, xray is somewhat better and barricade is an insane powerhouse now, but heal rig still has its own issues.

Namely, the reason my friend and I don't use a heal rig, besides that in normal trials there are just medical items everywhere anyway, is because of how high of a commitment it is to use and the lack of lenience, something that xray just barely suffered from but became notably better when it was dealt with. Ontop of that though, it's one gimmick (gimmicks being extra uses out of the normal function of a rig, barricade/mine being adrenaline, stun being stamina/battery/an occasional trap remover, xray being able to highlight enemies for longer and avoid traps now, jammer being able to save people and make enemies throw up) isn't that prominent, a severe slowdown on an enemy that usually requires you to already be injured for it to be worth it and you get to do it once every 144 seconds, it just doesn't seem all too great.

With that, I present a little concoction of ideas my friend and I made:

Heal rig now works on a charge system, much like barricade. Instead of a single use lasting 4 seconds, it is now 4 uses with 1 second each. Charges cooldown in an order even when there's some remaining still (unlike barricade where you must use all three). Each charge fills up 1 bar of health, actually using the heal rig will take significantly less time which I think already added to the odd nature of the rig, so you don't spend a whole second sat there turning a valve repeatedly.

Some changes would come with this of course, the cooldown would be somewhat lengthened much like how xray/barricade's were, since getting a bar back every 36 seconds sounds a bit strong, I was thinking more like every 45-50 seconds (this is the upgraded amount of course). The extended duration upgrade would instead be raising the max charge count from 2 to 4 (2 would be the base amount when unlocked), detox would refill a single bar of psychosis per charge so 3 charges would have to be used to refill complete sanity loss with around the same cooldown as base game, or you could potentially try play efficiently and just get 1 bar back while looking for an antidote so you're safe from the skinnerman. Poison would work the same, now with a notably better application on enemies.

I'm not quite sure what to do with this for invasion, as I don't play it and understand how much more important the rig balancing is there. I don't actually fully know how heal rig works, I had to ask someone else and they said it currently does half a bar of damage and staggers but doesn't do a slowdown or anything. I'm thinking maybe it just doesn't do damage with this version?

If it all sounds a bit tacky, maybe just another version of this whole idea but instead with it being 2 charges that heal for 2s each?

Lemme know what you think!
