Being misunderstood is disrupting my life.

I have been misunderstood many times, but it wasn't a big deal to me because either I didn't know about it or it just didn't impact me seriously. But it is starting to disrupt my life. For example, I work as a tutor and my boss told me one day that I look like I don't even want to be there. This was not true at all. I enjoy my job and look forward to it most of the time, and it hurts that I could not display that properly. She said I didn't look happy, but it was just my resting face. This wouldn't bother me much in other contexts, but this is my boss so it affects me seriously. Another example is my driving instructor who told my mother that I didn't seem like I actually wanted to drive because I didn't seem happy, wouldn't talk much, and would be serious. But that's not at all true because I actually enjoy driving, and because of this my mother is upset with me because I told her I wanted to learn. Other times my friends have told me that I don't seem to care about them because I don't cry when they are sad or seem empathetic towards them. Which I do really care about my friends, and want to help them the best I can. This problem is negatively affecting my life to a greater extent than I am comfortable with. I genuinely don't know how to solve this. Please share any similar experiences, advice, suggestions, anything helpful is appreciated.

Tl;dr: My neutral expression and personality is causing serious distress in my life. And I don't know how I should improve this so I can properly convey what I feel and limit misunderstandings when they severely affect my life.

Guys watch Seonghyeon and Keonho's performance to let's go picnic

I watched it recently on YouTube. My gosh I'm ascending. I really hope their new songs have more r&b songs and songs that rely more on their singing voices.

How can I get a 1520+ by March?

I'm a junior and I took the August SAT. My mother pushed me to sign up and I told her that I wouldn't have enough time to study, and she told me to take it to see where I was at. I ended up getting a 1290, 650 m and 640 rw. I signed up to take the December SAT to gauge how much my score would increase I'm aiming for a 1410 by then and a 1520 by March. How should I go about this. What study tools worked for you guys and how many hours should I consistently study a week. I want to have a goal for studying,, how often should I test myself, etc. I am going to start with going through the courses on Khan Academy. Please share methods, schedules, advice, and resources you guys used that genuinely helped you. Thanks.

Touch Grind BMX 2

I recommend this mobile game. I used to have it on my tablet, but recently downloaded it on my phone and it's great. Very smooth and enjoyable gameplay.

What's your thoughts on Tyler.

Do you think he'll have redemption, should he, or not? And how do you view him as a character? He is for sure an incredibly nuanced character, but are you leaning more towards inherently good or evil for him? Do you believe he actually cared about Wednesday at all?

Difficulty making friends

I honestly have a hard time connecting with other people. When I was younger I used to be much more outspoken with my friends and in general. I would get in trouble many times for talking in class. As I became older I became much more closed off. I was always very reserved, but it became extreme. I struggle to talk, hold conversations, and despise small talk. I've always been a loner and don't mind it at all. I didn't even realize how isolated I was until a classmate pointed it out to me. I have friends but don't feel that close to them. I have my sister and a close friend that I genuinely care about, but they are very different to me. I don't feel like I really fit in anywhere. I feel so disconnected from my peers, like they all read the handbook to being a normal teenager, but I missed out on it. Have any of you felt this way?

Look what I found at the store

I used to be obsessed with Dav Pilkey's books and now I really like manga and anime. I'm over the moon.

I hate the silent treatment.

I'm an older teen, and whenever my mother and I get into an argument, she ignores me for days. She doesn't look at me or even acknowledge that I'm there and if she does it's to yell at me more. It's so draining and frustrating. It is so messed up, I don't understand how a person could do that. She consistently calls me worthless and good for nothing. It makes me want to just go no contact so I don't have to deal with her crap anymore. She does this so much that it's expected. And then whenever she needs something from me she'll talk to us and then start an argument right after. Then after a few days she'll pretend nothing happened and everything goes back to normal. This cycle repeats and repeats. My sister ends up blaming me for the argument because I'm the only one who'll stand up to her. What should I do?

I can't believe this group is still under a year old.

They have achieved so much for being a relatively new group. Every song is a banger, I can't wait to see what more cortis has in store for us and for their music.

How did you guys increase your sat scores significantly?

I have some knowledge gaps and make careless mistakes. I've been studying for weeks now but haven't seen a great increase in my score right now I'm averaging a 640 math and 660 rw. How did you guys increase your scores quickly? Thanks.

Should I put my YouTube channel as an ec?

For context I've been running this channel for a while now. It is educational. I read children's books with my dad and sister. An author actually sent us a book recently. We have around 3,000 subscribers and 1.8 million views. It isn't related to my major, and I'm not sure how YouTube channels are viewed by admissions officers.

How do you guys study for the SAT?

I've been taking practice exams and consistently scoring in the 1300s. I go over the questions I get wrong and try to improve my score, but haven't made substantial progress yet. I am taking the exam in August and I am ultimately aiming for a 1500+ I would be happy with any improvement at this point. This is going to be my first attempt. I know I need to target and study my weak areas, but I don't really know what good resources I should be using. As there are so many. So if you guys have any resources or tips you used to increase your score by 200+ points, please let me know. Thank you.

Has anyone made actual friends through this subreddit?

I have been seeing a lot of these posts on this subreddit as well as others. And I am wondering if some teens have actually made good friends through this subreddit. And if it's even worth giving it a shot. Let me know if you have any success stories as well as if you don't.
