Girl in the Picture. This photo gives me chills now.

Girl in the Picture. This photo gives me chills now.

I just finished watching this doc and I don't even know what to say. Knowing the context behind this vintage family photo makes it look so incredibly sinister. Sharon Marshall deserved so much better. For those who have seen it, how long did it take you to process the sheer scale of what Franklin Floyd did?

Connie's energy vs. Daryl's energy perfectly captured in one photo.

Jeepers Creepers 2

I miss this era of horror movies. It doesn't take itself too seriously, the pacing is incredibly fast, and Ray Wise absolutely kills it as the vengeful father hunting the Creeper down. It’s the perfect popcorn horror flick. Where does this rank for you guys in terms of 2000s creature features?

Just wanted to share my journey and say hi to this community!

I’ve been navigating life with strabismus and finally felt like sharing a couple of photos. It’s nice to find a place where others understand the daily experience. Hope everyone is having a good week!

What is the most "nonsense" character death in the series for you?

I was just thinking about some of the writing choices in the later seasons, and some of these exits still make zero sense.

For me, it’s T-Dog. He survived so much just to get taken out in a hallway helping Carol, and it felt like the show just didn't know what else to do with him. Or Carl! don't even get me started on how a seasoned survivor gets bit while tripping over a tree root.

Which death felt like the biggest "nonsense" moment to you? Is there one that actually made you want to stop watching?

The Descent (2005) is still a masterclass in tension.

I’m always impressed by how well the practical effects and lighting hold up in this movie. They used such a limited palette, but it looks incredible. It’s rare to find a horror movie with an all-female cast that feels this gritty and grounded without falling into tropes.

If you haven't seen it in a while, it’s definitely worth a rewatch in the dark!

Just finished my first rewatch since the finale aired, and my opinion on Sansa has completely flipped.

I used to find her chapters/scenes a bit slow in the early seasons, but seeing her growth from a naive kid to a strategist this time around was so much more satisfying. Has anyone else had their "favorite character" totally change upon a second watch or read?

I’ve been hitting the gym late at night lately to avoid the crowds. It’s usually just me and the hum of the treadmills. Last night, I was taking a quick progress photo in the big mirrors by the squat racks.

In the preview on my screen, I saw someone standing in the far corner by the heavy bags just a dark silhouette, completely still. I figured it was another night owl I hadn't noticed, so I turned around to give a polite "hello" nod.

The corner was empty.

I brushed it off as a trick of the light until I got home and looked at the photo. The figure isn't just a shadow. It’s leaning forward, inches away from the back of my head, and its hand is reached out like it’s about to grab my hair.

I’m looking at my gym bag right now, and I don't think I can go back there tonight.

Hey everyone. I've been reading a bit about cases involving honor killings. I've already looked into the Shafilea Ahmed case, and I'm hoping to learn more about other cases, but a lot of what I come across feels a bit too sensationalized.

I’m really looking for well-researched, grounded documentaries or series that handle this heavy subject matter with sensitivity. I'd love to find something that explores the systemic issues or the cultural pressures behind these tragedies without losing the human element of the stories.

Has anyone seen any good documentaries covering other cases that they would recommend? I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Hey everyone! I’m an albino, so my hair is naturally platinum blonde and I’ve never used any bleach or dye on it.

Since my hair is naturally very light and can be a bit more delicate, I’m looking for some advice:

- How do you keep natural platinum hair from getting dull or "yellowish" without using harsh products?

- Are there specific deep conditioners or oils that are lightweight enough for this hair type?

- Any tips for scalp protection since it can be pretty sensitive?

I’d love to hear from anyone with similar hair or any pros who have tips for natural blondes!

Me and my sister are coordinating in all black! We really love how the butterfly heels look with these black dresses, but we aren't sure if the looks feel finished.

What kind of accessories would you pair with this aesthetic? We were thinking maybe some simple jewelry, but we don't want to take away from the leg wraps. Any ideas for bags or hair clips to tie it all together?

I recently re-watched a documentary on the Cleveland Abductions, and even years later, the sheer scale of what Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus endured is hard to wrap your head against.

For those who don't know the details: between 2002 and 2004, Ariel Castro kidnapped these three young women and held them captive in his home for over a decade. The level of calculated cruelty and the fact that he was hiding them in plain sight in a residential neighborhood is absolutely chilling. What always sticks with me isn't just the depravity of the "villain" here, but the incredible strength it took for them to survive that basement and eventually make their escape in 2013.

A few solid watches if you want to dive into the case:

Cleveland Abduction (2015) – A dramatized but very intense look at the timeline.

The Lost Girls (Documentary) – Great for a deeper dive into the investigation side of things.

Has anyone else revisited this case lately? It’s a haunting reminder of how some of the most dangerous people can be the ones living right next door.
