I know this is wrong, but how?

I know this is wrong, but how?

I just did something, I was just getting into this formula, but what if I used it for sum rather than difference using another property that (-)×(-)=(+). So I did the same, and I got something contradictory, I know it is wrong, but I can't think how.

Could anyone help out.

Thank you I got the answer and my silly mistake...

I made a lightweight 2D fantasy map maker in Godot 4 (Free)

Hey everyone! I just finished and published my latest tool, Ink & Parchment.

It’s a clean 2D cartography app designed to help tabletop GMs and game devs quickly stamp out hand-drawn world maps, draw winding trade routes, and export high-res PNGs.

Features I built into it:

  • Infinite expanding parchment canvas
  • Anchor-based road & river painting
  • Custom PNG asset & font importer (saved locally)
  • Full transform gizmos (scale, translate, rotate)
  • Dual save system (re-editable JSON + cropped PNG exports)

You can play it directly in your browser or download it for Windows/Linux on itch.io here:

My brain-bending mirrored puzzle game just got some major mechanical juice.

Game Title: Both Ways

Playable Link: Both Ways by CurioNaut

Platform: Web on both PC and Mobiles

Description: I've been polishing the mechanical feedback and movement for my game, and I'm super happy with the current build! Controlling two grids at once is the core puzzle, but the real challenge is planning moves across parallel planes with different obstacles. This clip shows off the dynamic shadows, smooth sliding physics, and satisfying audio sync. It’s hand-crafted logic with a ton of juice. Let me know what you think of the movement!

Free to Play Status: Completely free to play

Involvement: Completely developed by me CurioNaut using Godot engine

Can you help get a new game idea?

Hello devs,

I have been creating games for a while now, but have been stuck to find a new idea, whatever I think seems non-productive.

I am prominent 2D game creator focusing on web games to approach platforms like crazy games, Y8, poki, and addicting games.

Please don't go with platformers and clones of already produced games. You can share your ideas that you thought but never actually worked on.

Help me get a game idea, that don't require levels, have high replayibility, and mostly 2d pixel or vector art graphics. The art would be as simple as possible, no heavy animation if idea is strong.

This would not only help me, but all who are in search of a idea.

Maybe you also get a idea, so share your ideas...

Thank You for reading.

Cheers! My Godot game accepted on cray games...

Hey everyone,

You might have seen me sometimes on this subreddit or other talking about this game, RUST & ROPE, but my dream is about to come true, the game has been accepted on crazygames.com, one of the leafing web game platforms (like Poki and Y8).

I am a student as well as game dev, I started my journey back when I was in class 7th (like at that time I cried just to get Scratch installed into the potato PC), looking back there I think that I really have so much to share but overall I am just here to ask you guys to help me get this game into the site completely(Don't think that I am lying as in start I said accepted but now getting completely accepted, on crazy games they have two stages basic launch and full launch, mine is in basic launch)

I am not forcing anyone to play the game, but just asking help from my senior devs

Thanks,
Best Regards,
CurioNaut

Do you want to get your game seen?? I would be the first one

Rust & Rope

I would be testing your game out and promoting it to as much as I can, all you need to do is to just do the same with my game, the link is above or here

I built a high-speed, physics-based grappling game in Godot 4. Here is some gameplay of Rust & Rope!

Hey everyone!

For the past few months, I've been developing a fast-paced vertical platformer in Godot 4 called Rust & Rope. The core mechanic is entirely built around physics-based grappling—you have to master your momentum and swing arcs to climb an infinite, procedurally generated industrial abyss.

I recently hit a major milestone and finally got the game fully exported for both Windows and Android (running seamlessly in portrait mode).

A few things I’m really proud of in this build:

  • The Biome System: The world dynamically shifts from rusted metal structures to slippery ice chunks as you climb higher.
  • The Backend: I integrated a fully functioning cross-platform leaderboard system. It features encrypted local saving so you can play offline on your phone, and it automatically syncs your absolute best score to the global server the second you reconnect.
  • The "Juice": Lots of screen shake, dynamic zoom cameras, and high-contrast retro-futuristic visuals to make the speed feel impactful.

I would absolutely love for you guys to try it out and let me know how the physics feel! The Web Demo, PC Build, and Android APK are all available here
