I’m not generalising, but this happened to me twice in my life. No TLDR excuse me.

First time:
Back then i was in my BTech, i was talking to one of my classmate. Her town lies in the middle of my hime town to our college.
After some holidays we had to go to college.
Since her place was in the middle i texted her if she wants to join me. She said she’s travelling during afternoon ( I usually travel at nights i avoid day time travelling).
So I thought why leave her alone let me give her company, that way i can make sure she’s travelling safe. Since it was afternoon travelling i told my mom to cook something for us to eat.

Second time:

This happened recently.
Me and one of our colleague had to work on a script. So she called me to a mall so that we can discuss freely, without her parents interfering in the middle. ( she called it).
So i picked her up from her home and went there we started discussing our work. Then she called one of our mutual friend ( he’s her close friend).

What i liked in this book is how the author shows the development of an abusive relationship.

What didn’t work out for me: the story progresses decently but there was no emotional connection with the characters of the story. Because of that, i decided not to read the sequel, even though i already have it on my bookshelf.

Animal farm is a sharp Political satire on power, society and politics.

Although it was initially it was written as an allegory of the Russian Revolution’s (1917) promise of equality gradually turned into another form of dictatorship, but it still can be related to any politics happening in the society today.

Book follows a farm ruled by Mr. Jones who mistreats the animals. Tired of oppression the animals chose to revolt against jones and take control of the farm. Hoping to build a society based on freedom and equality. However, under the leadership of Nepoleon, the animals gradually gets oppressed without even realising. Nepoleon gradually gains control, rewrites the rules and manipulate the animals to lead the farm in his dictatorship without declaring as such.

Author brilliantly satires on how the people on power rule like dictators still calling it a democracy officially. And exposes that “hardworking without critical thinking can be exploited by those in power” and “how political language can be twisted until words lose their original meaning.”

One of the book’s most powerful messages is that “A dictatorship does not survive only because of the dictator. It also survives through fear, ignorance, propaganda, loyalty, and public passivity.”

I would even take the liberty to say this would a perfect guidebook for any politician beginning his political journey today, to learn exactly how power can be gained, maintained and abused.

That’s all.

There are two types of mindsets a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. A person can have both.
It tells how your mindset should be when you face setbacks, failures etc., with examples in different fields like schools, relationships, sports, parenting , business etc.,

If you’re someone who’s looking for actionable frameworks or practical tools, you’ll be disappointed as i am. And feel repetitive.

Hello all,
I’m a Telugu Guy, who wants to learn tamil.
I already learnt some basic tamil when i stayed 4 months in chennai.
I can read and write tamil a bit slowly.
I can speak basic conversations in tamil. ( pesa mudiyum, anaa fast aah varaadhu).
( nalla pandagal paathe ).

I tried Duolingo but it doesn’t has any option go learn tamil through English or Telugu.
(Enaku vere vali theriyile, adku dha inge vadhen, daiva senji enaku help pannunga )

So here I’m asking for ways to learn Tamil through English or Telugu.

I’d be great if i can learn formally with grammar rules, tenses and all .
My goal is to reach a point where i can speak fluently in tamil and can read tamil books and literature. ( i know it takes time but yeah willing to invest my time).
I think Learning with someone would be great who can correct me, guide me properly and van speak with me.

I’m an actor by the way if that can help. ( becoming fluent and like a native speaker would help me a lot).

There was a point in my life when I didn’t eventually wanted to marry. That time if you remember so many “ wife killing husband“ incidents happened . I was so scared.

I’ll get her flowers everyday. I listen to her stories and her day while massaging her legs or oiling her head. I’ll get her chocolates and ice cream when she’s on her periods. I’ll take care of her like my own baby. I want spend my time with her in the mornings and evenings in beaches sitting silently by enjoying the sunrises/sunsets or playing in the water. I want to go adventures with her like bunji Jumping, sky diving, para gliding, scuba diving, trekking etc..
Most important of everything “ I’ll be her best friend for life”. I won’t make her feel regret for choosing me. Even if any quarrels arise I’ll make sure I’m the one who apologise and initiate conversation first. I’ll try to understand her not only when she’s talking but also when she’s silent.
