the main thing I’m confused about is some people say you should only buff yourself if your getting dove and some other people say you should buff yourself for the entire game I would just like to know which is the right one to do

was just going p3 and came across fighting god tamer but I never beat him so I’m wondering why I can fight him in p3 I don’t even remem trying to fight him and losing
