Small and possibly meaningless Iron Lung realization.

Every time I've watched this movie, I've been so confused about why Ava asks him if he's sure it's a skeleton. Like yeah, what else would it be? It just hit me that she's obviously aware of the X-ray camera and what she's asking isn't: "Are you sure it was a skeleton and not X." It's: "Are you sure that thing isn't *alive?"*

This has absolutely no bearing on the rest of the plot, it's just me realizing something that everyone else probably got the first time lol.

Watching every episode of Distractible in order.

I'm on Episode 2 and I wish I'd discovered it right after it was posted, because I have a suggestion that could have helped Bob win easily.

Fun fact: Ferrets only stink when they're stressed out. So, instead of genetically modifying the ferrets, we genetically modify humans with that trait of ferrets. Except we modify it even more to where no body odor comes out during stressful moments either. What do we think about that?

How do I fix the mess I made with the scales and the cross-section of water at the bottom? Also looking for ways to improve my shading. Swipe for references.

Hopelessly stuck on my ending and need advice.

I'm on draft 3 and the ending changes every time because I never feel satisfied with it. I think I may have written myself into a corner with this concept.

The basic summary is that a physically disabled French artist goes to live at the manor of a famous English artist. Over time, they start to fall in love. But she uncovers a dark secret that explains the hauntings she's seen.

The secret is that he made a deal with the devil to get his fame. The catch is that nobody alive will remember him after his death. All news articles and books written about him will be thought of as fiction.

My problem is, she's been writing everything in a journal the whole time. The book is her journal of these events. Would she think of her own journal as a work of fiction? Would it be reasonable for her to realize she's only at this house because of him? What are your thoughts?

Which pic is better? Trying to make a youtube channel banner (I write and narrate horror stories).

Would wearing a mask or disguise be the same as having a faceless channel?

I really don't want to show my face online since I'm trans (ftm) and haven't even begun my physical transition yet. But I was thinking that since I want to narrate my own creepy stories, a spooky mask could help tie it all together more. What do you think?

Cheatstick method isn't bringing Kelvin back. Help!

Once more, Kelvin did what he does best and stepped right into my axe. But this time, when I tried to revive him, it didn't work. I typed cheatstick and hit F1, then typed addcharacterrobbie for the billionth time. Except now it suddenly doesn't work. Any advice?

Edit: I got him back!!! Apparently you have to add a space, like this: addcharacter robby, and also spell his name as "robby," not "robbie". Which I swear was not how it was done before.

How should I go about doing a content change?

I only have three videos and they're all gaming let's plays. I had the idea since then, that because I do creative writing as a hobby, I should lean into that. And I want to start narrating my own stories instead of gaming. Should I delete my first three videos before I switch, or should I leave them up?

Public server questions.

If I turn structure damage off before making my server public, would people still be able to hit C to take down things I've built? Also, would I be alerted somehow when someone joins?

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds SUCK!!!

If they slip out of my ears for even a millimeter, the music pauses. If I'm in bed and my fucking blankets brush on them, the music pauses. If they're securely in my ears and not slipping out at all, they'll randomly change to the "aware" setting just for funsies. I can't listen to one full song unless I'm standing or sitting with my back perfectly straight, and I'm losing my fucking mind. This is still happening even six months after I first got them.

Music that gives off surfing/beach hangout vibes.

I'm planning a beach trip and I'd like some music to go with it. The song doesn't even have to be about the beach. If you think it fits, I'll be willing to give it a listen. My flair says rock/metal/punk but I'll listen to anything once.

Edit: I am slowly making my way through all your suggestions, so please keep them coming!

Why do mob bosses make the best food?

We had a taco shop in town that ended up being a front for a money laundering operation, but god damn those quesadillas were the best I've ever had to this day. Honestly, they'd make more money just going straight and selling their food for a living.

It warms my heart to see AI bros complaining about low views.

Like they just can't comprehend why people might be absolutely done with their shit. I just saw one claiming they actually weren't making low effort slop because "every use of AI was very intentional." Yeah no shit. Doesn't make it any less slop.

Are red arrows in thumbnails considered tacky?

I've always rolled my eyes at them, but for whatever reason they do seem to work for people. What do you guys think? Should I start using them?

Video editing brings me so much joy.

Something I didn't expect was how much I would love the editing process. After watching a few tutorials, I really, really got into it, and now I almost like it more than recording lol. Searching for the perfect (royalty free) music, pairing it with tense or funny scenes, and making little video montages just warms my heart. It really is an art form all on its own. What do you guys think?

Anyone else get itchy?

I don't get h*rny, I get a physical itch. It gets so bad that I have no choice but to "scratch" it. And when I finish, poof! The itching is gone. I hate it. I hate touching that area at all. Why does my body do this to me???

I really dislike my given name and want to change it completely, but until then, I'll be writing under my pen name. I was wondering if there are any published authors who could tell me how you navigate the process of filing taxes. Do you have to prove that you're the writer of the work? If so, how would you do that?
