In addition to marketplace, any good spots to get rid of stuff when moving?

Title basically.

Have a bunch of stuff that needs to go. Listing what I can, and then I know there’s habitat for humanity that takes donations. Any other FB groups or other avenues you would suggest? I’d like to sell what I can.

For things like shelf stable foods, etc is there somewhere I can donate or is it mostly just for canned foods?

Anyone done a yard sale around here, how did you go about it?

Is there a way to schedule drop off day as opposed to pick up day?

I'll be moving soon, and I work from home - so needing my car is not critical days before I move.

It looks like most places do a pick up day or earliest pick up day. I was wondering if there's a way to just schedule drop off, if that's cheaper. Or what teh cheapest way to go about it is.

All the quotes I get from Central California to Portland OR are the either the same prices I'm seeing for cross-country trips or way too low and seem spammy and scammy.

Any tips? Or ballpark idea of what that SHOULD cost?

How do you find a reputable car shipper?

Has anyone had luck with this? I feel like getting quotes for something like this is more difficult than mover quotes.

I've gotten like 20 quotes in a day between $200 and $1800 for approx 900 miles. All saying relatively the same thing.

Anyone have advice?

Trying to get an idea of cost, and who is reputable. 93401 to 98684

A bit under 900 miles, trying to see what it would cost. I've gotten a few quotes so far.

2012 mazda 3. Open or closed, doesn't matter to me.

Ideally just want somewhere that will delivery the car and better if I can put a bit in the trunk.

Pickup date is flexible, but delivery date ideally would be more concrete.

EDIT: How do you guys know who is reputable? I have like 15 quotes now from like 200 to 1800 lol...

Spider-Man: Brand New Suit?

Spoilers, obviously

Since it's mentioned at the end of the film that the suit was cut apart, it sounds like that was intentional to leave it open for him to get a different suit in the next movie.

Personally, I thought this suit was peak and not sure how they would improve or what they'd do.

What do you think his next suit will be like?

Anyone live(d) at Club at the Park? Some questions

I hear good reviews of this place and Bennington for apartments on the east Vancouver side.

A few questions for anyone who has experience:

- Do the units at club at park have bad temperature control? It looks like many of their units have 2 walls that are almost entirely windowed

- How is the noise from the park there inside?

- Do you benefit from being close to the park for walking and events?

- Any other places you prefer?

Storage bins that fit multiple shippers?

Trying to consolidate for a move, anyone know any decent sized plastic bins or cardboard boxes that fit 4+ standard sized shippers?

Or any other solutions to pack store multiple together?

East Vancouver vs Uptown/Lincoln?

Really love both areas. Does anyone have thoughts on living in either one? Nerdy dude, 30s, I’ve enjoyed this side of the Columbia river as it’s a bit quieter and slow compared to Portland.

Been looking at east Vancouver, fishers landing etc. seems like lots of cute little neighborhoods like camas and the areas around fishers landing, Hiddenbrook, Clearmeadows etc (is there much of a difference to any of these?). And then on the other side, walked around the neighborhood near hungry Sasquatch and that was really cool too. Drove up through the neighborhoods near Lincoln

Any opinions or big differences from place to place?
I’m mostly a homebody so don’t mind driving a bit for food or movies, etc. I love MTG, board games, and both sides seem close enough to drive to some of the shops. And then there’s always Mox and whatnot in Portland, so plenty to do around.

Politically Vancouver seems pretty purple from what i could tell, seems like one house would have the American flag or trump stuff and the neighboring house would have an LGBT flag lol. Personally, I’m pretty liberal. It doesn’t look like there’s liberal vs conservative neighborhoods for the most part, but if there is I guess good to know lol

Everyone has been really friendly just walking around on this side. Would love to hear your opinions

EDIT: Thank you all for so many thoughtful responses btw. One thing I did notice walking around and exploring the Vancouver side was how friendly everyone was, not normal where I'm from lol

While I get the complaints, as someone who hasn’t played since the first season, it’s a lot of fun.

Totally agree with mythics being dumb and annoying. Not gonna argue that.

But the last time I played i just remember endgame being grinding nightmare dungeons and doing whispers. The pit, all the different challenges, undercity, warplans, etc are all new to me and I loved rifts in d3.

I’ve been having a really fun time. And while I am excited for the patch to hopefully add to play time, I’ve been excited to play each day after work. Just got to T12 on my first character and im excited to try some other classes and builds that weren’t in at launch.

So, not trying to say the game is perfect because it’s definitely not and crafting mythics I don’t even need is annoying - but I’m still enjoying playing.

FSO Old pins mostly 2002-2007, prices vary

Moving and we found this old pin lanyard, I looked them up best I could to find the lowest prices on eBay not including shipping/tax.

Looks about $240 total, I’ll update this in a moment for individual.

First negative feedback, given because I offered a return instead of partial refund. What can I do?

Had a buyer message me today about a figure they purchased that had been opened and put back into the box. They complained that the legs had been "bent" before, and then said there were smudges on a helmet (which looked like a finger print - probably from them).

I explained that the figure had been opened before as stated, and was put back, was not displayed for any amount of time. I said I didn't know what was on the helmet, and asked if they tried just wiping it with a cloth as it looked like a finger print.

I then said, either way, they could return the figure for a full refund.

They responded just "ok sure". And 5 min later they left negative feedback accusing me of being rude, and they said "all i wanted was kindness and a partial refund, they instead rudely said I could return it. deal with someone honest".

?????

What am I supposed to do here? I (previously) had 100% positive feedback as a seller. I'm not going to offer someone a partial refund because of unreasonable complaints that they likely caused.

I offered a full refund/return despite them probably doing something to it, and they gave me negative feedback instantly - what am I supposed to do ?

UPDATE: I found the buyer made an instagram report disparaging my eBay account, including a screenshot of my account, and him showing the "dirt" on the figure and "creases" in the knees since it's been touched before. His next video is just him cleaning the parts off and bitching about it. What the hell? Can I show that to eBay?

UPDATE 2: Spoke with 3 people on the phone at eBay and a number of email tickets. They refused to change the feedback or remove it, but suggested I report them on instagram etc... (very helpful, I know). Finally the last person I spoke to on the phone was actually helpful. And he said while they can't change the feedback since it's a different team, he sent in a report and gave me a link to upload the photos of the bullying etc...

Not really sure anything will come of it, but oh well. At this point honestly just kinda burnt out on the situation

Where to put the vault number on shipping labels that don't allow numbers in the last name?

Just a shipping label question... PSA's instructions are to ship exactly like this:

First Last (Vault Number)

600 Ships Landing Way

New Castle, DE 19720

For any websites or paypal shipping label creation that doesn't allow numbers in the last name, where do I put the vault number? Address Line 2? Before or after the Street Address?
