My work pc uses Linux mint, and my biggest problem is they every time I need to install something like podman or anything that isn't present on the software manager, I have to do research on whether there is an apt or curl command to install something, or find out how to extract whatever weird format the app comes in from the website.

On windows, you just go on a website and download an exe or msi. I'm getting tired and frustrated of these constant bumps when I just wanna start doing what I'm actually supposed to.

Y'all got any advice for this problem? I don't wanna switch to windows and I also think it'd cause more problems in other areas

I've reinstalled G hub 3 times by now, removed the appdata and registry files, tried the old logitech gaming software, restarted the pc multiple times, nothing...

The wheel gets detected, has the right LED blinking sequence, calibrates as it should every time tis plugged in, it just never sends any input anywhere. no wheel turning, and no pedal pressing is detected at all...

this is after multiple years of not using it, it was kept in a box, inside a normal house.

They pretty much own like most of all people's main emails, almost everyone who uses nav apps, uses Google Maps, and I'm just confused at how come they haven't started milking that. I'm happy that they aren't, but what's stopping them?

I for example wouldn't mind having my next phone be a Google pixel, if it wasn't for the fear that they might start to take advantage of our reliance on their products

I find the idea of the character really fun but im terrible at ball, i usually play Orisa, Rammatra, Winston, D.va, so i think this already paints you a picture of how i usually play tank...

My main issue is that i always throw when i play ball, i die easily, i get little value most of the time, and i dont know any techs.

i dont know how to use the primary guns effectively. who to prioritise, when its best to engage, how to treat my cooldowns, which perks to pick, the only things i think i know is that youre supposed to be annoying and disruptive, which i also kinda suck at, i think. i wanna learn ball in my placement matches before the drives event. i usually place around mid-high diamond on tank.

Some games work, some just don't, and my investigations seem to indicate that old gtx cards and bazzite just don't mix at all. Which is a shame cause it's an old gaming laptop.

Overwatch literally runs on 1 frame per like 2 minutes, even in the menu, the HDD I formatted is unwritable for applications like steam for some reason, having to install all kinds of solutions to play all kinds of games is fucking depressing, even if it does end up working, FL Studio running in Bottles is laggy as shit, not really usable, this thing is essentially only useful for *some* games, and web browsing... Having to learn all these tools just for them to *maybe* work is making me wanna reinstall windows.

yesterday i somehow pulled up a completely new wheel ive never seen before, with different comms than the default ones that i have, it had yes, no, youre welcome, im sorry, or something like that. i havent been able to open it again since... i have no idea how i opened it. i was holding middle mouse to say going in but somehow said yes instead.

i dont have these lines binded to my normal comm wheel

I have a regular guitar strap, no swivel, just locking thingies for the studs. i cant see any physical way it should be able to suddenly become twisted, but it just randomly happened when i took the guitar off once.

My girlfriend (23 MTF) and I (22 NB) recently had sex for the first time, and she mentioned that she's been feeling bad about having it out while naked.

For context: I'm 22, NB amab and she's 23 MTF.

I've never had intercourse and I don't like the idea of anal sex at all. But with her, that'll be the only option for intercourse, besides oral. And even then, she's too dysphoric about having a penis to let me reciprocate orally.

I just fear that I will feel bad if I don't do her in the butt. She loves me a lot and when we have our first time is mostly up to me. She wouldn't feel sad about not doing anal but I would. There's tons of Pacifica pickguards for just about every model except the 120h. I can't find a single one.

I am soon going to buy my first electric guitar, and i think it'd be really sick to have a jackstick cable for it that looks like caution tape. i'm planning on getting a regular 3 meter cable that could maybe be heat-sleeved or something? im not a diy person at all, so i dont know anything honestly, about wrapping or painting things

I have tried googling for something like this, but it doesnt seem like anybody has made anything like this, or atleast hasnt published it. which is a shame cause imagine how cool a cable like that would look! not to mention a high visibility cable is just safer to walk around

I record in the car for the acoustics and privacy, but now with summer coming around, an empty parking lot in the sun turns my car into a microwave.

Does anyone else record in their car? Where do you go? Also got any tips?

Also off topic but how can I warm up my voice without doing something boring like doremifasolasi type humming? I've found a preferred way that I only think, warms up my voice, is singing along to a song where they sing in a high pitch, like me sunshine by Arden Jones. also it seems like my voice is a lot better in the evenings, which is kinda limiting for when its best to record...
