Don’t give up on your project or your goals just because people online try to bring you down.

When I started promoting my site, I had people leave nasty comments, use throwaway accounts, and then delete what they said. Even when the comments disappeared, I’d still see them in my email. Some of it honestly got to me.

But I kept building.

I reminded myself that not everyone is going to understand what you’re making. Some people will judge it early. Some people will mock it. Some people will be negative just because they can.

But there are also good people out there.

I kept improving my site, kept posting, kept learning, and now people are slowly but steadily signing up. It’s not huge yet, but it’s real. And that matters.

So if you’re building something and you’re getting discouraged, please don’t quit just because a few people were loud and cruel.

Listen to useful feedback. Ignore people who only want to tear you down. Keep going.

I’ve been trying to find help, but I keep running into intake/evaluator walls before I can really get my situation in front of an attorney. It’s time-sensitive because of a deadline, and I’m honestly overwhelmed.
