Hello! I bought this house a few months ago, and this tree has been in the landscape. I’m unsure how long it’s been there, but I take it as for awhile maybe. The leaves are huge, but no signs of buds yet! Is there still hope it’ll flower this season, or am I missing something? It’s planted where rainwater collects a lot, so I’m thinking maybe it’s prioritizing photosynthesis due to a lot of water? Do I need fertilizer to promote buds? Any info is appreciated, as I’m brand new to these guys!

They’re all about 2 months old. 2 pots fell over about a month ago, but all seem to be doing fine! Is this pot size good for them for now? Anything I should be doing more? I heard since it’s currently growing season, I should be watering DR’s more so the base grows thicker? Any tips appreciated!

Hello! I’ve bought these two from Walmart clearance about 2 months ago, and they’re looking much healthier! (It had yellow leaves and looked all sad) how old would you estimate these DR are? Also, is there any specific reason why the leaves on one of them are more narrow at the top?(shows in picture 3 and 4) I believe it was the one in worse condition than the other. Are the pots too big? I keep seeing posts mentioning pots being too big for some, but I’m not sure what the size of the pot would affect

1 year old water heater, 1st time home owner. How safe or easy would a job like this be? In case I choose a plumber, what will a rough price be for a job like this?

I accidentally dropped a pot of desert roses. Are these little guys safe for the plants? Possibly even beneficial? I’ve seen no issues with the plant plants except for this drop 🤦‍♂️

They’re approximately 3 weeks old. I got them in Miracle-gro cactus & succulent (I know, I heard the horror stories but it’s all I have around me that’s cheap) and some of my own sandy soil as a substitute for perlite. I ordered 35 seeds from Amazon, which 34 have sprouted! It’s roughly an 80/20 mix of soil and sand. I let them soak in a kiddie pool of water every 2-3 days. They currently get minimal sunlight, but I soon plan to let them get about 4 hours of direct sunlight per day! Any do’s and don’t? When they’re ready to bloom, what can i do to ensure they bloom properly? There’s currently no fertilizer other than what’s in the soil.

Bonus - I saved 2 from Walmarts clearance section. Are they doing well? One has some pale leaves, while the other has shiny and dark green leaves. I plan on repotting them, and eventually directly planting them into my yard when I know they’re healthy enough to survive! I’m not sure if the Walmart ones are doing well or not. I know they looked slightly worse, in which I’d assume they were overwatered or something in Walmart. I live in zone 10B with extremely well draining (and sandy!) soil. I’m sure my soil also lacks nutrients though.

Please give suggestions! I want to watch all of my little guys give the biggest blooms!

I feel like it grew practically overnight. I had some fallen broad green leaves sitting here for about a week, and when I went to pick them up I seen this guy. Is it safe to stay around plants or will it eat up alive ones?

I started these guys from seeds. 34/35 are growing so far! Some are still very small/barely beginning to grow. This is my first plant I’ve decided to try growing too. I threw a bunch of mixed seeds in my backyard to also grow, which they’re starting to grow as well, including a couple of sunflowers I accidentally grew from bird seeds! Pretty proud of myself for being a father to a few hundred 😂

Ive hooked this up myself about a year ago. When I first remove the “remote bass” cable, the bass booster works. I believe this cord only goes directly towards the bass adjuster knob, which is shown in the 2nd picture. However, if I disconnect the cable from just that side, the bass booster still will not work. Any idea why this is? I’m trying to refrain from taking about the whole interior trims just to find the solution lol

Florida, USA. I think it’s rated 10b? I’m completely new to gardening/planting, but I’d like to make this yard look nice. I just know this soil has absolutely no nutrients in it to thrive.its very sandy, loose, and dusty. If I were to use a shovel it can easily go all the way in without a problem, so no roots to hold down the soil in several places. All I’d like to do is to get it to grow anything, preferably native plants/flowers that require minimal maintenance to grow (I’ll be fine trimming plants or stuff like that)
What’s the first step to getting this soil good? I assume it’ll be a few months before I can even attempt to throw seeds in this yard. I have 2 dogs, and I started to bury their poop about a foot down just for the sake of it not smelling in the backyard. Is this good or bad for future planting? In one specific spot I dug, there was dirt with a little moisture, and it was a little brown so maybe that spot specifically might be better off and with nutrients? Any and all help will be appreciated!

I’m sure this is more than your normal post, but I’m just very proud of myself for this accomplishment.

I got this solely on my income/debt! I’m 23 and used the VA loan to accomplish this! My immediate family, and most of my blood related family are in poverty. Whether it’s due to substances, or just poor financial literacy. I’m happy to have broken the cycle! I’m the only one in my immediate family to own anything other than a car.
Im not mentioning this to say I’m better than them, however now we are able to have family gatherings in an actual home! I’m excited for what’s in store for the next several years! I definitely do not plan on this being my forever home, as I will be purchasing more homes in the future! Stay ambitious!!
