Would like to clear up any confusion with switch 2 physical games

I've seen a lot of people think that all switch 2 games are game key cards and how they all have no actual data on the card.

I'm here to clear up confusion for new players and the misinformed

Image 1: switch 2 physical game cartridge

This kind of switch 2 cartridge has the full game on the cartridge .this is not a game key card. Besides Pokemon pokopia, all first party games are full on cart

Image 2: game key cards

THESE are the ones with no data on them. If they have a key on the top right its a game key card. They exist for publishers games that are very big (90 gb) so they can technically be on a cartridge. When first using a game key card you will need to download the data onto the console. After this it works like a physical game.

Image 3: game key card boxes

Game key cards have special boxes so you can tell which game is a game key card. There's a little white bar that tells you if its a game key card.

If the box doesn't say this it's fully physical.

I hope this has helped you understand what a game key card is and isn't.

If you want to post this on other gaming sub reddits, you are free to do so!
