I think this is also a lot about being a girl who loved the Simpsons. As kids, at Christmas / Hanukkah time, my brother got all the Simpsons gifts because it was just assumed he liked it more in the way that even though both Bart and Lisa helped out Krusty and reacted to Itchy and Scratchy with the same enthusiasm, Bart was obviously the bigger fan.

So this is a sort of testament to how much more I enjoyed it than my brother.

I made this thinking of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari's idea that capitalism has fragmented society to the point that we don't know what what is real aspects of culture and what we just endlessly consume to feel like we belong.

This is not an eloquent rant but it's 7 am and I am filled with hate NOW. Sorry this is not an anime / manga rant but it's an attitude, made by humans so I think it counts.

Variations in weather are important. Nature is not designed to be for our indoor adjusted AC loving comfort? I Personally, love the flora that comes after the rainy season it's so reliant on. News flash, we are also designed to adjust to the weather as well. Oh you hate winter and cannot do anything? Yeah, humans evolved to retain fat and be dormant during that period. Blame society now for making you feel guilty for that not the weather, not the earth. LA may have perfect weather all year round but the city exists at an impact of profound environmental stress.

For clarification: It's not saying people cannot have preferences, it's saying that something like rain makes a place shitty. It's when people are happy that maybe it's "Nice weather" in February (northern hemisphere) completely disregarding that that is a sign of the catastrophic impact of climate change.

Recipe is as estimated since I threw in what I had. It could probably use more olive oil tbh:

One bag arugula
1.25 cup chopped dill
1 cup chopped mint
.5 cup chopped parsley

One cucumber
half a chopped red onion
juice of two lemons
zest of one lemon
3 table spoon of hemp seeds
1.5 cup of cooked orzo (Boiled with msg instead of salt, salt would work just fine.)
.25 cup of olive oil
Maldon salt and pepper to your desire
.25 cup pumpkin seeds
one block feta
.25 cup parm (You can probably omit because I just wanted to get rid of what I had)
