It’s such a big world.
I would love to explore other places specially Waterdeep,Candlekeep and dare I say Menzoberranzann

And actually properly explore the hells too.

Or I’m even fine with actually exploring totally different worlds too like Sigil

I think I’ve already explored BG in act 3 pretty thoroughly so going back here won’t really interest me to buy a BG4

It’s such a big universe and I would love to explore some other parts of it.

AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO MORE BHAAL.
Don’t get me wrong I loved BG3 but after a bit of googling BG 1 and 2 were also revolved around bhaal
I want to see and meet other gods now

My personal favourite is Song of Balduran followed closely by the Eurovision/X-factor/broadway worthy performance by Raphael and Gorilla

So I’m in my very first play through of the game and literally the only thing that is left in the entire act 3(my personal favourite act out of the 3) is now to go to the elder brain.I think I’ve spent more time in act 3 than 1 and 2 combined.

I saw tons of praise for Raphael (and rightfully so) but WHERE IS THE PRAISE FOR MY GIRL GORILLA(Rip)
Best BGM in the game in terms of atmosphere 9.5/10
I only wish it was a bit longer(my favourite is song of Balduran)

Although I have a few notes:-
1.All throughout HoH they keep telling us that how bad Hope was tortured,even when you rescue her she says that she would “kiss you” if she had her lips left and that whole body is burnt and what not.But Hope literally looks completely physically fine! Why didn’t she looked badly tortured?

2.Why does Raphael only have 222 gold on his dead body!! My man is supposed to be a powerful devil,evil,cunning,charismatic,charming even but then he is broke AF.My party literally has 20k gold. I think my party might be the richest group in all of Baldurs Gate.

3.This is more of a personal taste issue,why is Yurgir such a bum in this fight if he’s on your side.MF only does like 8-9 dmg each turn and then just hides like a pussy.Absolute bellend this guy!

It’s my head cannon if Raphael lived and got the Crown of Karsus that he and Gorilla would host sort of Eurovision/X-factor/American Idol sort of a competition in the 9 hells and win every single time.

In another life Raphael must definitely be a bard/performer 100%

I’m currently in my first playthrough of the game

I have used him only once or twice in my entire play through before act 3 (waaaay back in act 1)

Got annoyed by his low Defense and health back then and his constant need to consume magical items(didn’t use him even after it got fixed)

But now (I’m almost done with all companion side quests in act 3) after getting access to level 6 spells and more importantly Markoheshkir

He is such a cool character to play as and Markoheshkir is such a big part of it.

I decided to test this staff out against the fight with Cazador and Gale with his Potent die and this staff was such an MVP.

Most fights in Act 3 requires AOE attacks(my Tav is a paladin so not good for aoe)

But my faith build SH and Gale were so good and they are so good for AOE and wiping out swarms of enemies while my Paladin and Asterion(tavern brawler) focuses on single bosses.

I just have one complaint/wish for future games:-

I wish spell animations were cooler,like the spell descriptions are so cool to read and they obviously do their job in gameplay. But I wish these spells looked cooler in gameplay when you cast them specially (level 4,5,6 spells)

Also after freeing the vampire spawns from Cazador I kinda hoped they would get added to Gather your Allies quest but they didn’t unfortunately.

I mean I know they are vampire spawns and most creatures in the games are biased against them for valid reasons for their past actions but like in the final battle against the elder brain I think this could have been their chance at redemption.

I mean 7000 vampire spawns….thats basically an army,they should help us in the final battle as allies and then they could’ve fucked off to the under dark

He has hedged his bets afaik but the issue is he has used a lot of margin to buy the ETFs,would he get margin called?
He has a bullish overview on the market when the market itself is sideways to bearish since the last 2 years and global macro cues are very bearish rn and with no end in sight for this conflict

I have a very simple understanding of the market.
A county’s stock index can give you outstanding returns under 3 conditions:-

1.Pretty small country with a dead stock market but due to government making the country more investor friendly and opening it for FDI,it’s currently experiencing a major boom(not the case for India)

2.Is a major supplier or innovator/disruptor/market leader in the current investor boom(AI and memory at this point of time) (again India is not leading here so no incentive for FDI to pour all their money here)

3.Currency appreciation against dollar (not the case)

1990s-2020s was a period where India was getting tons of investment from FDIs because there was genuine opportunities for foreign as well as domestic investors to make money in emerging and beaten down industries.

Not the case right now.

So like if you guys want nominal returns of 10% or so per year it makes sense to stay invested here.

But if you want more returns from the index itself(NOT INDIVIDUAL STOCKS OR FNO) start looking at foreign markets or wait for the AI bubble to pop and load cash up meanwhile because I don’t see an immediate future where India’s market is going to have a massive bull run.

Would love to hear contrary opinions to this and debate in a respectful manner that expands both our views

The stock upper ceiling is defined at $54
It’s currently at $46

If I trigger the trade exactly right now.

I’m going to make roughly $17,000 dollars in about a year…that’s more or less guaranteed money.

Obviously all of this hinges on the fact that the deal is actually closes,but that’s the kind of risk I’ll have to take.

Have any of you here ever done merger spreads trades,if so please let me know your experience with it.

This will be my first time doing a trade like this and obviously it’s a lot of money but like it’s not as risky as it sounds right.

Worst case scenario I lose 20k(then I pull out as that’s my risk tolerance)

Best case scenario I make 17k

So obviously it’s almost a 1:1 risk to reward ratio

I can buy some puts to hedge the downside to make the ratio better,what do you guys think?

So the engines themselves are the most expensive part of any rocket right?

So I was wondering how reusable Archimedes is compared to Merlin

So Merlin is established to be reusable 36 times
And from what I can find is that archimedes’s public goal is 20.

Archimedes is supposed to be a better designed engine with more efficiency,so shouldn’t the goal be atleast double i.e 40??

Also can anyone help me in figuring out the cost of the engine themselves(rough estimate)

I could not find any estimated costs of Archimedes whatsoever

While estimated costs of Merlin is 500k-1M
Raptor is 1m-2m

So Archimedes should cost the same as Merlin right?
Or do we not get the same economies of scale as SpaceX and is more expensive to produce?

All in all Both Archimedes and Merlin make Raptor such an engineering marvel to me.

It’s designed to be more reusable despite being much more powerful than both and is actually cheaper than the leader Merlin if you calculate it on a launch basis than total cost.

I’ve only been invested in them since the last 2 months and that’s how long I’ve been on this sub.

On one hand,the entire sub raves about SPB,that he always delivers on his promises and is an excellent leader,capable of executing.

But on the other whenever I see anyone comment here that,”Neutron launching EOY” I see a barrage of comments saying that Neutron isn’t launching before mid next year

I know they have delayed the launch the launch by a year from the original target of Q4 2025.
But hasn’t SPB recently publicly mentioned that Neutron is launching EOY,isn’t commenting stuff about Neutron not launching this year directly means you are skeptical about the leadership not delivering on its promises,so that means you don’t believe in the management that everyone here raves about?

So far we haven’t gotten any official updates that says RKLB won’t be able to launch Neutron this year end(prolly around Christmas would be amazing)
So why all the negativity?
Am I missing something that is making everyone so sure that Neutron is definitely not launching this year and SPB is lying to investors about Neutron launching this year?

Like isn’t being stuck at home all day and just studying day to day very mentally taxing?
How do y’all get through this??
