The Itasca fireworks have been on my list for awhile. However I’m best not in a lot of traffic or squished in crowds. What’s a good viewing spot that is 1 to 2 miles away? I’m used to these and father away distances for watching fireworks so understand that it’s not the same and being close. Thank you for recommending a few ideas. Happy 4th. 🇺🇸
On Sunday the 28th there are fireworks at Oakton College. Where are some of the best places to watch them that isn’t on campus? I have an event earlier close to OHare and won’t be able to get all the way to the campus to see them since they start at 915. Love fireworks. Big thanks. 🙂☀️

I go to Jim’s Original 1 or 2x a year. Love the current nostalgic set up on Union. When did they change their fries? Went yesterday and for sure not the same. Yes, some people love them yet for me they taste less traditional and not my vibe. I think the fries remind me of McCain’s. I know they are moving to Pilsen so wanted to enjoy the current set up one more time before they go.
