We want to bring our own food and very simple decorations that are placed on the table. Plus it needs to be indoors.

For most of the people we hire it is pretty easy to see who the top choice is after a few rounds of interviews. We are currently hiring for a role and we literally have two top choices making it extremely difficult to choose between. What standards do you use to determine who to hire between two people when they are equally skilled, either personality will blend well with the organization, and you like them for different reasons? About 10 years ago I used Craigslist to sell an ac, buy Cubs tickets, and rent a place. Is it still a good place to go? Did you get a job from here? What else in Chicago is good to use this resource for.

The Itasca fireworks have been on my list for awhile. However I’m best not in a lot of traffic or squished in crowds. What’s a good viewing spot that is 1 to 2 miles away? I’m used to these and father away distances for watching fireworks so understand that it’s not the same and being close. Thank you for recommending a few ideas. Happy 4th. 🇺🇸

On Sunday the 28th there are fireworks at Oakton College. Where are some of the best places to watch them that isn’t on campus? I have an event earlier close to OHare and won’t be able to get all the way to the campus to see them since they start at 915. Love fireworks. Big thanks. 🙂☀️
