The Vaser Valley Railway is a narrow gauge forest railway in the Carpathian mountains in Romania. Private railcar 01 CALLATIS has been converted from a Ford road van. The driver handles ignition, gears and accelerator pedal as in a normal car, while the steering wheel works on the brakes. The railcar has a reverse gear, but this is used only for short distances. When the railcar needs to change direction for a longer journey, it is turned on the spot by means of a plate that can be lowered on the rails at the gravity center of the railcar.

The floating artwork Fluxland created by artist Cyril de Commarque was named after the Fluxus movement of the 1960s and took inspiration from the polyhedron; completed in 2016, it floated down Thames and hosted several art installations. Fluxland began her life as the 1955 grain vessel La Nauve.

For the Papal visit of Pope John Paul II to his home country of Poland in 1979 a heavily modified Star 660 M2 off road vehicle was prepared; after the Pope's visit the vehicle was destroyed by the government. Between 2006 and 2011 a reconstruction was built using components from the original truck.

In preparation for the Papal visit of Pope John Paul II to the UK in 1982 British Leyland supplied four specially built vehicles, two of which were based on the massive 24 ton Constructor 6; this design provided superior protection as well as made the Pontiff visible to the massive crowds.

The 1930 Citroën C6E "Lictoria Sex" was a one-off custom gifted to Pope Pius XI by Citroën Italia to commemorate the Jubilee of his priesthood as well as the signing of the Lateran Pacts the year prior. The opulent vehicle was used only once by the Pope in 1936 and now resides at the Vatican Museum.

The 38 meter Pegasus III launched in 1973 by Kroger-Werft was designed by famed yacht designer Jon Bannenberg, she was a wooden vessel and had quite a modern design for her time. At some point she was acquired by Saddam Hussein, renamed Al Mubarakiah, and subsequently destroyed during the Gulf War.

The Reid Flying Submarine or RFS-1 was constructed in 1961 by Donald Reid. The craft was capable of flying around 33ft and diving to a depth of 2 meters; to convert it into a submarine, the propeller was removed and the engine was covered with a rubber diving bell, an aqualung was also necessary.
