The 1930 Citroën C6E "Lictoria Sex" was a one-off custom gifted to Pope Pius XI by Citroën Italia to commemorate the Jubilee of his priesthood as well as the signing of the Lateran Pacts the year prior. The opulent vehicle was used only once by the Pope in 1936 and now resides at the Vatican Museum.

The Reid Flying Submarine or RFS-1 was constructed in 1961 by Donald Reid. The craft was capable of flying around 33ft and diving to a depth of 2 meters; to convert it into a submarine, the propeller was removed and the engine was covered with a rubber diving bell, an aqualung was also necessary.

The 67 meter Destriero was built by Italian shipyard Fincanteiri in 1991 in order to break the record for fastest trans-Atlantic crossing by a surface vessel; she broke the record and still holds it to this day. She would remain laid up for several years and was unfortunately scrapped in 2023.

The Gu Tian launched by Mawei Shipyard in 1974 was the largest concrete vessel ever built by China; however her maiden voyage would also become her last. The ship was deemed too expensive to run and too expensive to demolish so she was grounded near Zhongzhou Village and remained there for 38 years.

Created for the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story.. Here is Han Solo's M-68 Landspeeder.. The fully drive-able movie car was built upon a bespoke chassis and fitted with a V8 engine.. It is definitely one of my favorite speeder designs!! ... May the 4th be with you!!

For the 2015 visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines a special Popemobile based on the traditional Jeepney was custom built by ECTK Armoring.. The vehicle has been brought out again recently in honor of the passing of Pope Francis... Pope John Paul II also rode in a Jeepney by Sarao Motors in 1981.

During his 2019 visit to the island of Madagascar Pope Francis decided to ride local in a modified Mazana II by Malagasy auto manufacturer Karenjy... definitely one of my favorite Popemobiles!!
