Is it true that Hindi language speaking people are not interested in reading Hindi Novels?

Weird isn't it? But I feel that Hindi speaking people are not interested or don't want to read Hindi Novels. And it's not about Novels only, one can easily sense that this thing is happening in everything whether books, comics, study materials. I don't think it's hate. I am a Bhojpuri speaking person, whose second language is Hindi. Throughout my academic journey, I communicate everyone in Hindi. But our bookish language is English. But that didn't mean we didn't want to read things in Hindi. In fact, I read whole Harry Potter series in Hindi. And because I know Hindi from childhood, I could sense everything of the translated version of that series. And also because the Hindi version was very well written. But today, perhaps, people are losing interest in reading in Hindi. Please share your thoughts.

About publishing books!

Hello everyone, I recently write a story both in hindi as well as english (my first novella), researched and found that amazon kdp would great for publishing story as an ebook format. Published it in both languages. And then, another ebook of another epic-fantasy, coming of age story in hindi uploaded. That's a great thing for me. Then, I thought, why not publishing book. Kdp also give this option to publish books as well. I again researched about it and realised that kdp only publish english version and not Hindi. That's ok. I have uploaded an english version as well. I made a format for book, which kdp accepted and published also. I wanted my author copy. I followed the links and realised that the book will be printed in another country like USA, UK, ITALY, etc. then, it will be shipped to India. And this will make book so enpensive like 1300-1500 in indian currency. That's pretty much high price. And also, you can not publish Hindi version book too. So, I decided to publish my story in India but I have no idea how. Yes, I have copyrights of my work as well. I know there are traditional ways to publish as well but they will take more time just to answer, will they publish or not. Please suggest some ways.

Thank you!

What would happen if an elder wants a gift from younger ones?

It's something we usually don't think. Isn't it? But seriously, what would happen if something like that happens? We see our elders, who do their work day and night but they don't expect anything from their young ones. But think about it. I always think about it. And we should take care of our elders.

"Chacha Ji - Jadon Aur Rishton Se Aadhunikta Ki Or" Ebook

I have written a story called "Chacha Ji - Jadon Aur Rishton Se Aadhunikta Ki Or (चाचा जी - जड़ों और रिश्तों से आधुनिकता की ओर)" in Hindi on Amazon Kindle.

In a quiet Indian village where tradition and change coexist, a deeply moving story unfolds, one that challenges the true meaning of progress.

Chacha Ji, a man deeply rooted in values and wisdom, has dedicated his life not only to nurturing his family but also to enriching the soul of his village. For him, the true measure of development lies not in machinery, but in the unity and growth of the people. However, when his son Mahesh returns from the city with modern ideas and a transformed mindset, an unspoken conflict begins to brew between them.

What starts as a mere difference of opinion soon escalates into something far more painful, misunderstandings, bruised egos, and a widening emotional chasm between father and son.

This story is not just about the clash between the two; it delves into a profound question: can modern thinking and traditional values truly coexist?

Set against the backdrop of a changing village, this narrative offers a compelling and heart-touching exploration of family, values, and the journey of discovering one's own identity.

Hope, you like it.

Your feedbacks are welcome.

Published Ebook in English on KDP and KDP Unlimited

I have written a story, "Chacha Ji - From Roots and Relationships to Modernity". It is a heartfelt story set in an Indian village. It's about a gentleman, people call him "Chacha Ji".

"Chacha Ji" is a respectful Hindi term meaning Uncle. It is often used not only for a father's younger brother but also as an affectionate way of addressing an elder.

Through his wisdom, compassion, and vision, he inspires people to believe that a small and consistent effort brings big changes. Whether through sports, innovation, entrepreneurship, or community spirit, he encourages everyone to grow together.

The story beautifully explores the harmony between tradition and modernity without placing one above the other. It shows that respecting our roots does not mean rejecting new ideas, and embracing modernity does not require abandoning our values. Filled with warmth, hope, and meaningful life lessons, Chacha Ji is a celebration of human relationships and a reminder that a stronger society is built when tradition and progress walk hand in hand.

Lastly, this cover is designed by my sister. She is a good illustrator, as you can see. I am thankful to her.

Writing on google drive is better.

Yeah, I think so. Because that's how you can connect to all devices and write on anyone and anywhere whether you have tab or not, you can still write on your mobile. If you are on laptop, you write on it too. But on an specific app, which works only on one device is perhaps not as viable as compared to Google Drive. If someone has better option please specify.

Published my Ebook in English on KDP and KDP Unlimited

I have written and published my ebook "Chacha Ji - From Roots and Relationships to Modernity" on Kindle and also on Kindle Unlimited in English. This is the English version of the Hindi version story with the name "Chacha Ji - Jadon Aur Rishton Se Aadhunikta Ki Or".

A heartwarming literary novel about family, tradition, change, and the conflict between generations.

More than a story about family conflict, the novel is a reflection on change, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It shows how small ideas, combined with determination and compassion, can transform lives, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for future generations, without losing the values that hold society together.

Overview:

In a quiet Indian village, where tradition and change walk side by side, a deeply emotional story unfolds—one that challenges the very meaning of progress.

Chacha Ji, a man deeply rooted in values, wisdom, and community spirit, has spent his entire life not only nurturing his family but also preserving the soul of his village. To him, true development is not measured by machines or modern infrastructure, but by the growth of people and the strength of their relationships.

However, when his son Mahesh returns from the city with modern ideas and a changed perspective on life, an unspoken conflict begins to grow between them.

What starts as a simple difference in viewpoints soon develops into something far more painful—misunderstandings, wounded pride, and an increasing emotional distance between father and son.

This is not merely a story about a family conflict. At its heart lies a profound question:

Can modern thinking and traditional values truly coexist?

Set against the backdrop of a changing village, this novel is a powerful and moving exploration of family, values, identity, and the search for understanding in a rapidly changing world.
