Canadian breeders?
Hi hi!
I’m an experienced reptile owner hoping to add a hog into my collection :))) I am in Canada, and ideally would like to go through a Canadian breeder. Has anyone had a good experience with one/know of one?
Thanks!

So I’m not a police officer, but a police dispatcher. And I started very young, and did it for about 4 years. Loved the job. Loved that I felt like I was doing something for the community, some that made my city a better place. It was my whole identity, really. All my friends are either police officers, corrections workers, dispatchers, or something similar. Even my husband is a police officer (we met prior to him becoming a cop, but I digress).
About 8 months ago I had a mental health crisis. Due to work. Due to the way my workplace was ran. Due to trauma building up and catching up to me in a way that I could no longer safely handle. I was put off of work, at the discussion of multiple doctors, and the request of my employer.
Now I’m doing a ptsd intensive program to try and fix my brain and life, and to try and function again.
But I feel lost. I feel useless, really. I went from being someone who would save lives to now some days not being able to leave the house or make a phone call. I feel like no other job that I may get in the future will ever make me feel fulfilled, because what could ever be as important as saving lives and keeping people safe?
I guess I’m just looking for anyone who has been through something similar. I’m scared. I’m lost. I feel empty.
Look, I’ve been on T for a year and a half. But inconsistently at best. I’m always so excited when I do it. I feel manly and euphoric.
However, actually getting it done? Whole other story.
I’m shaky, terrified, scared of the pain (which just makes it worse) etc.
I’m not even scared of needles, or needle pain. I can take an iv or bloodwork like a champ.
I don’t know what I’m like this. It’s been taking a toll on me because I’m now super inconsistent with my T.
Any advice?
I ask this so genuinely.
Like if I’m in a sub that is mostly cis gay guys, or a gay sub, or hell even a irl space that is mostly cis gay men, trans men are immediately hated on.
I don’t understand why.
I really don’t.
They say that we are not the same, that we don’t need to be apart of the same community, that we never helped or suffered during the aids crisis, etc.
I don’t get it.
I’m new to the game, and I finally finished the campaign and wanted to follow the story and play co-op.
Well, I couldn’t. Cause no one else was there? lol
Is that normal?
AI is not a reliable source of information. There has been studies on this. It makes up information. It will agree with you and say what you want to hear. It literally hallucinates.
And that’s not even talking about the issues with the environment.
Every SINGLE question you have about your snake can be answered on a forum, a website, at a local pet store (especially the small, family owned ones), a rescue, or here. Nothing is a new issue.
Can we stop using AI as a way to care for our Ball pythons? Please?
Bonus points for queer, MM, or poly/why choose!!!!
I am very new to video games, didn’t have them growing up etc, so I decided to start with COD, idk if that was a good choice or not lol. So far it’s fun!
I just finished MW2019, and I thought it would be simple to just go onto MWII, but everything I’ve seen in past threads is giving a bunch of different answers on the order to play? I would like to play the other storylines too, but I have no idea what order to go from here.
Lots of people say play the originals, but the council I’m on doesn’t have easy access to those, and I’m not tech savvy enough to mess around. Can anyone give me just a straight forward order to play the games I can access on a PS5 so I can play them without feeling like my head is spinning?
Hi,
Sorry if this seems stupid. I grew up without ever playing video games or anything, so I’m now finally an adult and doing it for the first time and feel very lost.
So I like to play games like this for the story line, and so far I am playing the main game (I think the campaign?). I think I am almost done. I thought I’d get all the information I needed from that just to move onto the next game (MWII) but I was seeing comments online saying that for it to actually make sense there is story within multiplayer?
Is that true? Do I have to play multiplayer for the storyline to make sense? If so, I don’t really know how to do that? lol
Anyways, please be kind. I’m trying my best. Thanks!
Edit: ok I just finished MW and holy moly video games are so fun??? It’s like reading a book but it’s like you’re in it? It’s so cool. Ok time to play the next one!!
Ok so I know nothing about cars/racing so bear with me.
I was watching Iron Man 2 today and realized that Tony Stark just… had a team that was named after him that was racing the Grand Prix for America?
Is that how this works in real life? Did he buy out a team? Or like… did he sponsor the entire team?
Edit: thank you so much to everyone who has answered! I feel so educated now haha
My uro HATES being handled. Hates people, really. When we first got her, she would always do the wiggle when we were around, and would barely come out if we were in the room. Now, she comes out when we are around, will scratch at the glass to demand food, but still runs away if she sees our hands/if we open the tank, and rarely eats when we are present. We’ve had her for about 6 months.
We weren’t given an age when we got her, but I’m assuming juvenile.

I was a dispatcher for about 3 years. I went into it thinking it was going to be my forever job. I loved it. So much. My partner is also a first responder, and so are multiple other family members. I wanted to help people. I wanted to feel like I was apart of it.
I developed daily severe issues with trauma about 2 years into it. Due to the calls. Due to the poor environment. I had nightmares, flashbacks, panic attacks, I was heavily medicated. Eventually I was unable to go back due to my mental health issues being so severe from work that my workplace was worried for my safety.
It has been determined by multiple doctors (and myself) that I cannot go back to dispatching.
Part of me knows it is for the best. That I need to keep myself safe. That I can do other things with my life that are meaningful. I’m not even 30 yet. I have time.
The other part of me feels resentment. Anger. Sadness. An empty hole in my stomach. I feel like I was apart of something really cool. Like I was actually making a difference in the world. And now I’m nothing. I feel empty and lonely. I don’t know what to do with myself. I have been looking for jobs but everything seems so mundane. Like I see jobs and I’m like ‘wow, I was once saving lives and now I’d be doing this?’ I feel pathetic.
I am built like a garden gnome, short and stout. I have really thick thighs.
With Levi’s, I can wear a 46 waist, so they have that loose fit on my thighs, but then they are literally falling off my waist. And if I use a belt I have to tighten it so much that it folds over the fabric of the jeans.
With old navy, I can wear a 42 waist, which is better, but they are still too big on the waist, but bordering on too small on the thighs.
And yes, I am trying to lose weight before everyone in the comments just tells me that I’m fat and it’s my fault.
I’m just looking for pants that might fit better lol
Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a boxing or mma gym to start going to. I am extremely nervous.
I did a few years of kickboxing before I moved up to Kelowna.
My issue: I am a trans man, and I look queer, let’s just say that. I know not everyone will accept this, or me, and that’s fine. But with the current state of everything I just want to go somewhere where I won’t be treated differently and can just focus on working out.
I know comments will be like ‘just go wherever and you will be fine’ and I really wish that was the case. I have been given looks/comments from businesses in the past and I’d just like to avoid that.
Hey!! I’m looking for a flower stand/local florist/flower store that I can pick up a bouquet/flowers from. I know I can go to a grocery store but where’s the fun in that?
Thanks.
Just to preface, we are not American, so that might be why some stuff does not align with how it works in the USA.
My husband/common law partner just left for 6 months of training. He is allowed his phone, but cannot have it during the day. I will most likely get to see him for Christmas, and maybe a few weeks between now and February if I’m lucky and can afford the flights.
I’m 23, and have been with him since 18, this is the longest we have ever been apart. I feel a little lost.
I am a first responder, and am currently off work due to a traumatic incident.
My anxiety is through the roof due to my trauma from work, and now my support system is gone. I’m not really sure what to do with myself. Everyone says ‘pick up a hobby’ but I don’t really know what I’d even do.
I guess I’m wondering what everyone here does?
We don’t have kids. We do own a house and have pets. So I’ll take care of all that. But… I don’t know what else to do or how to deal with my fear.
Was told she is 7 years old but only 3.5 feet. I wonder if she is stunted as that does seem very small to me? Anyways, I have two other BPs, so this is my third and I am very excited :)
I am looking for advice, so feel free to chime in.
I never fit in as a girl. Ever. I was always the awkward, weird one, and more comfortable with the boys. Happy being treated as a boy. When I finally transition 2 years ago, it felt like a found myself. Like something clicked at it all made sense. I didn’t hate myself anymore. I could look at photos of myself and not hate them. It really was a 180 in confidence.
But recently I’ve felt… like I’m missing out. Maybe that’s not the right phrase. But here’s a few examples:
I love reading. A lot. Reading and writing, fanfics and romance and anything I can get my hands on. I like book merch and artwork. But I find myself no longer wanting to enjoy it as everything is ‘Hot Girls Read’ and for the girls, and girlies that read, etc. I can’t even find merch from my favourite series that is masculine or for men or not in a woman’s cut.
I struggle a lot with how I look. My body image. Part of that comes from being trans, part of it comes from being fat and not really sure how to deal with that. But I’ve been getting a lot of body positivity on my Instagram lately, and I think that’s amazing. But it’s all women, talking about loving their bodies and how their female plus sized body is great. I never see any of that for men.
I really enjoy getting medical facials done (T gave me super bad acne) but I can’t get it done without feeling intense dysphoria because everyone advertises to empowering women and for women etc.
I don’t know what to do. I feel like I am trapped in my own mind and body where I’m not man enough yet I was never woman enough. I hate it. I hate feeling like there’s no community for me. I’ve stopped doing all my hobbies because nothing seems masculine enough.
Look, I LOVE that queer representation is becoming a more normalized part of movies, tv shows, everyday life, etc. I like that it feels normal.
But I feel like since Heated Rivalry came out, I have seen an extreme obsession towards gay men from cis women that makes me feel… weird.
I loved the show. My bf and I watched it together. And of course I see the appeal for literally anyone who’s attracted to men in any capacity. But it’s gotten to the point where woman online are starting to openly fetishize gay relationships and gay men.
I say one ‘booktoker’ say she was getting a divorce because of Heated Rivalry, because her straight relationship wasn’t like the gay one she saw on screen. I saw another post where a woman was saying she wanted to live with a gay couple just to… watch them be a couple because gay people are so cute.
Like… what?? Why is this suddenly becoming normalized and ok? Enjoy the media but don’t be a creep about it. And don’t downplay the real struggles that gay couples have everyday.
It’s just so frustrating.
