I encountered this guy back in March of 2023. He came up behind me on my way to drop my kids off at school, flashing his high beams, honking and flipping me off. I recall seeing him again not long after, and he was doing this to other drivers. This is apparently just how he drives.

Fast forward to today, in August of 2026, and lo and behold: he's behind me again. On the same street, no less. Once again, entirely unprovoked, he starts honking, making threats, flipping me off, and tailgating me. This time, I decided to take a different route rather than have him behind me on the freeway, but I did make a report to local PD with his plate number, for whatever that's worth.

Both bores of the Caldecott Tunnel lead to the same place, merging back together at the exit. My guess is they're not a local and their GPS likely appeared to be telling them to take the right bore, but still...never a good call to veer across the gore point like that.

One year since we traded in our 2015 Honda CR-V and bought our first non-Honda for our family vehicle in about 10 years. She's already taken us to Disneyland, multiple trips to multiple Six Flags parks and many other trips in addition to getting my wife to and from work every week.

Scored it in eBay for $65, seller said the electronics didn't work. Just had to adjust the battery tray a little and boom...lights and sound work great. Bonus photo: the B facing a threat even more dangerous than the Nexus.

Some of the updates never made it over to Stunod, so some of them may be new to some of you, since I don't know how widely known my site was. I mainly focused on the latest Blender render scenes and the NCS22 updates.

I'm getting ready to leave for a fairly time-sensitive matter, and I hear a car pull into my driveway. I find this unknown and unoccupied Prius sitting in my driveway with the hazards on. I go back in to finish getting ready to go and figure that if it's still there when I am, then we'll have a problem. Sure enough, I need to leave, and it's still there. I check my Ring camera and see that it's someone apparently doing a Doordash/Uber Eats delivery to the apartments next door. The guy finally comes back. I tell him this isn't a public parking spot, and he just sort of mumbles, "Sorry"

Was I late getting where I needed to be? No, I always give myself extra time. Was it still mildly infuriating for someone to feel like they could just use my driveway to park in like that? When it's the second time it's happened this month (different guy last time), and we have a DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAY sign out front due to people doing stuff like this or pulling across our driveway and blocking it, absolutely.

He came within inches of our passenger door. He also had his music blasting, and based on his reaction, zero f**ks were given.

She's 11 now but this is one of my favorite memories of her when she was younger. She even had a planet-themed birthday party that year.

The "again?", the musicality of her voice and how she catches herself saying "Naptune" at the end get me every time. 😄
