minecraft bedrock geyser launcher with help from u/BlattaOrientalis

it should work in bother versions.

I made a post asking for help on a doodad i made yesterday (https://www.reddit.com/r/redstone/comments/1v50g0g/my\_first\_solo\_redstone\_build\_helpany\_advice/) and then u/BlattaOrientalis commented with their design. I did modify it a bit to fine tune it just he way I wanted, but I got something that works!

thanks again u/BlattaOrientalis! :D

my first solo redstone build. Help/any advice?

I want to try and make a jump pad of sorts that will work on both java and bedrock for that utilizes geysers for a minigame thing im working on that isnt too large and can be activated from all sides like i have shown above.

I have 2 issues i want tot ry to tackle but dont know how:

- upon walking on the pressure plates, its too long of a delay before the gyser starts so usually i end up sprinting right over it and not getting any of it

- the geyser doesnt last/remain long enough

I tried looking for tutorials to see if anyone did anything similar, but i could find naything so I had to freehand this myself.

the only other thing of note i would add is that the dispenser at the bottom has a lava bucket

please help!

[OC] Not entirely sure if this counts, but i drew a gnome

Basically instead of little bearded old men, I imagine gnomes as little mushroom like creatures (with them being forest/garden critters and all). Instead of little pointy hats, they instead have caps that are effectively extensions of their head that can appear as different kinds of mushrooms depending on where you find them

If this isnt a good place to post this, I do apologize and do feel free to try and point me in the right direction

An important update in regards to the lego ideas project

I posted this on my instagram, but I feel since all of this got popular because of this reddit community, I feel it would be unfair to not inform you guys.

Im not giving up on tally hall or lego, just lego and tally hall together.

Go have fun with the model.

SOme help figuring out whats wrong with a mod

Ive recently been getting into modding (mostly because Ive been playing alone for so long i wanted tot ry and spice things up) and in doing so I found a mod that sounded REALLY good and interesting

https://thunderstore.io/c/repo/p/Ardot66/Enemy_Overhaul/

However, when I tried it, none of the enemies it said it would "overhaul" actually work. robe and trudge spawn in one place and never move or attack, headman seems to be unaffected, and the huntsman gets stuck in this infinite loop of trying to shoot me but never actually firing.

its a popular mod from what it seems, so if it didnt work I would expect to have seen some kind of complaint/warning about it whenever I googled it, so idk whats going on.

I want to be able to use it because it seems SUPER COOL and fun from what its selling itself as, but im really bummed that i cant get it to work :(

looking for a mod

recently been getting into modding, and I wanted to try some vanilla plus stuff

but I was wondering if there would be on that fits this description:

A mod that make elites dependant on the stage in a way that makes sense.

So if its something like the abandoned aquaducts, blazing and guilded elites might spawn because they are very desert themed, but glacial elites wont because its too warm.

almost like biome dependent elites in a way

hopefully this is a good question for here and is descriptive enough to get help

so... when can we expect the rest of the OST?

like, not to sound pushy, but one of the reasons I love gooseworx is her music, and I would love to be able to listen to then rest of the soundtrack when doing work

I would hate if she was driven away from uploading music too :(

I redrew the fat worm with a belt

so for some context, 2+ years ago (well before I knew or could comprehend the horrors of how bad generative AI is) I found this post on reddit where some parent posted the result of their son's dabbling around with AI, creating this image of a FATASS worm with a b e l t. I posted it on this sub pointing out how it looked like something goose would make.

The more I learned about AI, the more I hated it, and loving this image of a FATASS worm with a b e l t became a guilty pleasure because I still thought it was cute!

So today I decided to redraw the FATASS worm with a b e l t in gooseworx's style out of spite because I wanted to have the FATASS worm with a b e l t without the AI.

I hope you guys like it!

fuck AI, but im keeping the FATASS worm with a b e l t

ik goose wont ever see it, but if she did I hope she likes it.

Is this actually goose?

The posts on account are only a few days old, so im assuming the account might be a similar age, and i remember coming across an impersonator account a while ago, but I dont think it was this one, and I wanted to get confirmation before interacting with any of the posts

Anyone else get the same vibes from both "nobody's a nobody" and "nobody else but you" by the moldy peaches?

Both music, theme, and lyrics wise. Sometimes I start to sing one in my head and end up singing the other

please allow me to brag about my dad and his weevil accomplishment, because I am proud of him.

reposting from another bug sub because I had no idea there was a dedicated weevil sub, and I want tot ell as many people as possible about my awesome dad

My dad has been a biologist/herpatologist well before I was even born, so he's always stopping to look at some new thing on the ground every so often.

A few years ago, one of those little stops was in our yard. When looking at some Atamasco Lilies (Zephyranthes atamasco) growing in our yard (we have alot), he noticed a small little black bug. He posted it on iNaturalist for identification, only to be told that it was something completely new. So he was asked to get a better sample

Over the last 3-4 years, he has been searching around our yard every time the lilies bloom to find another one of the little weevils (they are TINY tiny) and today was his lucky day.

I had the honor of being the second person in the world to hold his new discovery. Call it corny, call it cheesy, but I'm really proud of him. With all he's poured into caring for the nature around him, and with all he taught me and my siblings, to see him being an absolute nerd and being estatic as he ran up to me and my brother to show us that he found other specimine made me so happy to call him my dad.

So if you live in the south, and know anywhere with Atamasco Lilies, try keeping you eye out!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, Stethobaris zephyranthei.

EDIT FOR RULE 4: He not dead. just nervous with photos. he ok :)
