Thursday- picking raspberries in. The. Cold🙃
Friday- it’s a nice day so I’m picking raspberries again☺️
Saturday- farmers market🍎🥔🍉
Sunday- Crystal show🔮

I don’t really know how to phrase any of this please bear with me 😅
I’m 19 and I’ve had T1D since I was 3 so for about 16 years now!
I can say proudly that I’ve never felt ashamed or uncomfortable with my diabetes. I’ve always been very confident and comfortable in myself, and I’ve never once cared about taking insulin or needles in front of people or showing off my pump and CGM. It was just never something I felt insecure or ashamed of.
That being said, I know lots of other people don’t have the same experience my dad for example He’s had T1D for about 47 years now and he still take his needles in bathrooms or in his car and when he used to finger poke, he wouldn’t do it in public unless absolutely necessary
He still tries to hide his CGM he doesn’t even wear a medical bracelet because he “doesn’t want others to know”
I guess my question is how long did it take you to feel confident, with your diabetes (if you feel confident at all) And if you don’t feel confident why?

Today wasn’t too bad but tomorrow is the very long one and then Sunday is not a Dr appointment but a piecing appointment so it will be a lot mor fun🤭

I LOVE this dress you can’t see it but it’s way too long on me so I constantly walk on it and can only wear it with certain heels 😞 because of that, I don’t wear it very often
