​I play my Famicom connected to an LCD monitor. Unfortunately, it hasn't been modded for RGB output—it’s just a basic AV output mod. So, I run it through an upscaler and connect it to the monitor via HDMI.

​Since the original source is composite, the image looks a bit muddy on an LCD. But when I use a scanline generator, it looks almost exactly like an old CRT monitor.

​While a crisp RGB picture is great, there’s something genuinely special about the classic CRT look achieved with just a little extra effort.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce a truly full-bodied marriage of styles.

​At first glance, it’s a piece of avant-garde wearable art. But dynamic on the palate, its true identity is the actual Famicom cartridge itself. Not a replica, but a stunning 1/1 full-scale piece—from a phantom title that exists only in our collective nostalgia.

​The very cartridge that should have been played back in the day has undergone a beautiful aging process called "recycling," making a miraculous rebirth as a supreme fashion statement.

​To drape yourself in a legendary, unreleased masterpiece... Don't you find this adult playfulness absolutely elegant?

​P.S. This is, of course, a fictional title that never truly existed—a beautiful ghost in the machine.

Lately, I’ve been roasting mine in the grill just because I absolutely hate washing a pot full of grease. What’s your go-to method?

Here’s my daily driver Mega Drive Model 1. I’ve done a few mods and fixes to it:

​16-BIT Logo Restoration: The original gold lettering was completely ruined, so I fixed it up using imitation gold leaf.

​S-Video Output: Added an S-Video port because the stock video output was way too blurry.

​Region Switch: Installed a JP/US toggle switch.

​Custom Stereo Amp: Put in an internal stereo amp, so now it gets low-noise, clear audio output.

​Still going strong.

A legacy flavor that was once sidelined by the new-wave movement. Just a clear, nostalgic soup packed with heavy MSG umami and loaded with freshly sliced chashu to the brim.

​It hits the brain SO hard. The dopamine rush is absolutely UNREAL. 🤤🧠✨

​The peanut butter adds a super rich, creamy depth to the spicy broth. Absolute perfection with the crunchy onions and jammy egg. Can't stop eating!

​It’s a Japanese SFC cartridge, but the title is totally blacked out.

Instead, there’s this super cheap-looking label that says "Hong Kong 97" (香港97) in Chinese.

​I know my SFC console is buried around here somewhere, so I'm gonna find it and see if this thing actually boots up.
