What a film. I loved how uncomfortable it was. I’m looking for psychological movies like this that their environment is a part of their psyche i guess. Anything else that has sand? I love it when it gets everywhere. I don’t like star-wars though and I’ve already watched and read dune and Lawrence of Arabia. Am in the process of watching stalker.

I’m scared to put these words out in the world and accidentally somehow manifest them. I had a vivid nightmare about fennel making a lolita movie. The film started with a banger title card and it’s lolita written with ribbons, red lipstick and it’s background is a bunch of actual greek nymphs and then a judge’s gavel smashes it. Now i don’t remember exactly what happened but there was a montage of a young humbert and his typhus ridden young gf and he starts crying and clinging to her body and it’s all very weird and a lot of sniffing idk. Then i don’t remember but i remember that the humbert in the movie started out as poor and he got rich by being charming and scamming people through university. He puts on a really posh accent at the end.Then he goes to America and meets the hays. Charlotte hays was like a timid sad widow. Oh and he was played by jacob elordi ofc. I dont remember what doloros looked like in this nightmare. She was much older though definitely not 12. The whole movie looked like an vintage americana porno and a lot of montages and lolipops and old movie references and at the end we realise doloros was a mastermind and has killed humbert and quilty and inherited all their money somehow but she DIES OF TYPHUS? Im genuinely scared what if she actually decides to make a movie out of this.

Im going to get a ticket for boogie nights and im turning 18 next month but i really wanna go. Would they care a lot or can i just go in?

There are some clips of her and her previous boyfriend that also sings (idk his name). I was wondering if there is a clean version of the song or if there isn’t what are they saying? I love this cover (i love u nancy sinatra) but i get really distracted whenever there is some dialogue between them (or even the bit at the end thats like “when my lovee went away”

I know the comedy bit must have some roots in comedic opera but i find it hard to make a trail from that to like shitpost memes. It actually kinda surprised me when i was thinking about it that most operas and classics i know ARE from memes. So why and how come they’ve stayed relevant like this in this day and age?
