No, he doesn't notice me haha 😭
Anyhow, I'll be traveling by train for the first time ever. Kinda nervous, though mostly bored; it's a lot of waitinggg 🫠
I brought my trustworthy Levi denim backpack! I purchased her maybe a year or so ago for $80 USD. I was genuinely surprised by the quality, and the fact they used real leather and real suede. The quality probably isn't all that great, if I'm being honest, but for the price I can't complain 👍 I hope the release more vintage/retro denim bags.
How is everyone's Sunday going thus far?
I just found this subreddit. From my understanding, a Devilcorp is a multi level marketing scheme? Anyhow, I'll probably reject any future interviews with them regardless
Not reallyyy maximalist, but I figured I'd post my most recent fit. Sorry in advance that I didn't take a full body picture; I was having a bad day. I was debating posting this here haha
Anyhow, everythingggg I wore was pink (even my drink 🥰) except my white sneakers haha Piggy came along to cheer me up like a good boy 🐖
Oh and I got a haircut
Was debating on posting, but I figured I'd share. Was wearing my Versace mini Tag bag in rose. Such a lovely bag with the softest leather 👍 Oh and I changed the lense on these Biggie frames. I love a monochromatic look.
I always wear pink on my sad days because it always cheers me up ❤️ Wore this look a few days ago, and was debating on posting. Anyhow, I'm wearing my Versace mini Tag bag in rose. Piggy tagged along!
I'm thinking about changing the edge paint to pink. What are your thoughts? It wouldn't be too difficult
I absolutely love this scent! I can't stop sniffing my hands. Unfortunately, the sales associates at B&BW informed me this is a seasonal release and they will NOT be releasing this scent in any other medium 😢
It smells like grape soda almost? It's the smell you get from opening a bag of sour candies, to my nose. Very sweet and tart. I would love to have this in perfume form
I know, I know. Highly unusual post! Do delete this if not allowed.
Anyhow, I have come to see this subreddit as somewhat a family. I always look forward to seeing familiar profiles/usernames. One such user went by, on here, Big Ant. He and I didn't talk a lot, but occasionallyyy, when we happened to comment on the same post, we would ask each other how life was going and if--which happened a bit *too* often--we purchased a new bag. Big Ant 🐜 was into Gucci and Bottega Veneta, and had the most immaculate taste.
I was answering a few messages today, and by chance, I noticed a deleted user in my DMs. I realised it was Big Ant just today! 😢 It sadden me if he deleted his account, since he was so active on here. I hope he's okay, if he's going through anything. I wish him the best. Just curious if anyone here knew. I figured I'd ask here.
Also, remember to message and keep an eye out on all your handbag sisters ❤️
I forgot to take a photo of me HOLDING my bag 😭 Just pretend that I am haha
Anyhow, today was so fun. My neck freaking hurts from the weight of my necklace. It was totally worth it 😌
My look is heavilyyyy inspired by Gianni Versace's 1992 ready-to-wear, but I wanted to do a make take on it. You can't wear a Versace bag without going all the way! The bag is a Vantias bag from Versace's Spring/Summer 2012 collection
OOTD. Heavily inspired by Gianni Versace's 1992 ready-to-wear (for women). I wanted to do a male spin on it. I forgot to take a photo of me wearing my Vantiad bag 😭 I also wore suede sandals with turquoise studs, but my feet looked weird, so I didn't include it.
I got a lot of compliments today. My neck freaking HURTS from the necklace, though. Totally worth it 😌
I forgot to take a photo of me actually wearing my bag 😭 Just pretend it's there haha
Anyhow, today was a fun day. I was heavily inspired by Gianni's 1992 ready-to-wear collection for women, but wanted to do a male take on it. Hope it looks cohesive. I spent the day sounding like wind chimes. My neck freaking HURTS, but it was worth it 😩
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your bags 😎🥰
I forgot to take a photo of me holding my Vantias bag 😭 Just pretend it's with me.
Anyhow, I really love the look of Gianni's 1992 ready-to-wear for women, but I wanted to do a spin on it for men. Today was such a fun look, but my NECK FREAKING HURTS 😢🥺 haha
Hope you lot are having a good weekend. Stay cool 😎
Sorry, I couldn't find a proper tall mirror; had to use a reflective building instead 🤣😭
Anyhow, I finallyyy wore my canvas baroque printed tote by Versace. I had this tote for the longest time, without ever properly wearing it out. It always made me happy to look at, but it's one of *those* bags you needed to find the right look to pull off. Hopefully I did just that.
A cute guy said he liked my outfit, so that was really nice 🥰
Sorry, there were no proper tall mirrors in sight today haha
Anyhow, I finally wore my canvas baroque print tote by Versace. I've had this bag for the longest time, yet never properly wore it out in public. It's one of those bags that I could dmire on my shelf, but I had to wait for the *right* outfit to pull it off. I hopeee I did just that 👉👈
A cute guy said he loved my outfit today, so that was really nice 🥰
Sorry, I couldn't find a long mirror to where I was headed today haha
Anyhow, I finally used my Versace baroque print tote today. I've had it for the longest time, yet never reached for it. It's one of those bags that makes me happy just took look at and admire the craftsmanship, but needs *that* one outfit to make it work. I think I did a pretty decent job.
A cute guy said he liked my outfit, so that was nice 🥰
Apologies. There were no available mirrors where I was headed today 😅
Anyhow, I finally took my canvas summer tote bag out today! I've had this bag for a while. It's beautifully made and I'm always happy looking at it, yet I never use it because it's one of *those* bags you have to match with the right outfit. Well, today was the day. Met a cute guy who loved my outfit, so that was nice 🥰
Reminds me of this scene haha
I got into an argument on Reddit haha 😭
Anyhow, I lurk on this subreddit occasionally, and I will see from time to time, posts in regards to mold in new shipment of items. I would assume it doesn't happen all the time, and that these cases are just rare slip ups. After all, TJ Maxx/Marshalls handles tons of shipments regularly; so much inventory comes in and out. I also know mold likes to grow wherever there's moisture, so things getting spilled, humid, or wet is inevitable in warehouses or shipment. Critters can also hitch a ride uninvited. From all the posts, I just assumed that this was *normal* and part of the business.
Someone argued that it was slander, and from upset employees with low hours spreading misinformation. It's definitely a possibility I should consider, as retail hours are frustrating (I've worked in retail myself haha).
From an employee's perspective, has this happened to your store? What's the go about procedure if mold/critters are found?
From a customer's perspective, have you received or seen any new items with mold?
So which is true? If you aren't allowed to disclose openly, feel free to DM me; I will censor your name and profile for extra caution.
Updated my vintage (from approximately 2004) Versace "Repeat" hobo bag!
I loved Donatella's Repeat bags from the Spring Summer of 2023, but most of the bags were in *silver* hardware, and I'm a gold boi 😞 So I purchased this bag pre-loved for a decent price. It was in alright condition. Some loose threads, reallyyy worn edge paint, worn plated hardware, and animal bites.
The most difficult part was matching the leather. I found a small hide that closelyyyy resembles this peculiar brownish yellow bag. The original edge paint wasn't in great shape. I had to apply a new one. Matching the edge paint was tricky. I actually used a taupe coloured edge paint and applied leather dye markers to achieve this specific shade. To obtain the 3D Medusa logo, I actually purchased a pair of Versace pants and salvaged it from that. I stitched and applied edge paint to create the circular charm--all by hand. To somewhat "mask" the bite marks (at least, that's what I think it is) on the handles, I essentially studded it with Chicago screws, which were already a feature on the original bag. Oh and I moved the original 2D logo to the side, as a charm, so when I wear the bag on my shoulder, it can dangle there.
I'm so glad I'm finished. I can't wait to take this beauty out soon 🥰 Now give me compliments 😈
