The gauge cluster of a 1981 Subaru

Did you know that little diagram next to the speedometer is functional? It tells you things like if the hatch is open. It also reminds you to fasten your seatbelt when you turn the car on. I think it’s a pretty neat gauge cluster for a 45 year old economy car. I am amazed it all lights up still after so many years.

This guy hit my window this morning but flew off dazed a few moments later. I was pleased to see him well this afternoon. I think he's in my yard this spring with his mate, slightly larger and just black and white, no red? Southern Beltrami County, Minnesota. USA.
