ELI5 should we tell kids to stop running while eating purely looking at their physiology?
Not considering manners for this question. You know how kids can take a bite and go start running and jumping and climbing?
As a grown up I need my body to sit and digest the food before getting up. Otherwise there will be some burping and groaning involved.
I wouldn't be able to do what they are doing. So I feel I'm projecting.
On a sidenote: I can be happy that they're eating because they can be reluctant to eat tethered to the chair. But that's beside the point of this post

Wearing a watch as a means to tell time is not the primary use.
We've been overlooking the clock on the smartphones that are glued to our hands.
Now we'll also need to overlook the automatic Pop watch ✳️ bag charms besides our watches. (are we colour coordinating these?).
And I didn't even mention the clocks on all the electric devices surrounding us. From PC's to microwave ovens and the dashboards
in our cars.
